Wow... just wow. What a performance. From every guy oit there. Jose was not kidding in his PC when he said that he meant business. Brilliant football. And the quality of football was so amazing that I really dint want to switch the channels to bayern vs city despite knowing the result of this game. Perfect eye candy football. Everyone was amazing except for azpi who for sone reason kept committing into tackles and let schalke play in behind him. Hard to choose an MOTM for this match. Iva was amazing and that volley deserved a goal. Willian was brilliant. Cesc, oscar, hazard were theie usual selves and the one touch passing between them was a delight. Rambo and DD played their part in the performance. But for me, MATIC was somethinf else today. The way he dominated the schalke mid was unbelievable. The tackles he won, the interceptions. Just amazing. Next is sunderland away. A tricky one (not going on form but in a general sense). Hope we can continue this performance.

Bet a 30 £ on bayern to win. With yaya and fernandinho suspended, they can't possibly get a result here.

now with reus out of the picture, dont think we would do anything in the winter window.

He is definitely injury prone. That's not even on doubt here. Oir best chance to buy reus was in winter. Real would have to sell isco/jese to buy him which is very improbable in winter. But the summer transfee window is a completely different animal. Real madrid sold alonso and maria to fund kroos and james. Don't think they would have any problem in selling one player to buy another new shiny toy that they don't need. Also in the winter, bayern was out of consideration as bvb would not have sold them reus. But when we are talking about a BO clause, bvb will be helpless and it woild all fall on reus. I simply don't think that we have the pull to buy reus when going against these 2.

dont think we will take a risk of a pre-transfer contract on an injured player, even if he is world class. and if it gets to next summer, and we get in a proper fistfight with bayern and barca and real for his transfer, i dont think we will get him.

oh really?? so again, was jose stupid to play rambo as a RW against city and pool. infact rambo played as a RW against city both times we have faced them at etihad!!! there is a very clear reason to play rambo as a RW. he covers for cesc's defensive frailities and gives us more legs in the mid.

we dont change the formation from 4-2-3-1 to 4-3-3. jose dint do that either at anfield or at etihad. dont think he would do that here too.

so jose was fucking kidding you when he played rambo against pool or against city. this is the exact match where we need rambo's energy and defensive contribution. we need a point to qualify, schalke need the win. we will be looking to soak up pressure and countering, so rambo is our guy.

podolski wants out of arsenal according to the recent rumors, ozil is more a cautionary tale than a positive to arsenal. and if reus can be persuadedjust cos of PER than well... add to that, better wages, playing for the best team in PL and one of the best teams in the world with a chance to win trophies any season, i would say, we would easily beat arsenal as favourites for any sane minded footballer. i mean why exactly would he sign for arsenal in january when they wont even be assured of a CL spot next season. a WC player like reus playing in europa with no chance of winning anything ever. also, arsenal had first dibs on those players and how many of those exactly ended up playing for arsenal? CR is 29 right now. looking at his fitness levels and the sheer class he is playing at right now, he easily has a good 4-5 years ahead of him, by which time reus himself will be 29-30.

Our record before CL matches is pretty poor. Add internationals to the mix and we have a headache. Hope the players are up for it. No complacency and most importantly, the crowd really gets behind the team.
