see, now i just love this post!!! saying iva is "exception" at times has got to be the BIGGEST understatement of the year. the guy has basically played as a winger or atleast as a right wing back in most of our games. next, you want our fullbacks to attack but complain about the space left behind by the one who does a lot of attacking. infact which of dani alves, jordi alba, marcelo etc etc (who are the best attacking fullbacks in the world) dont leave space behind them??!!! iva on the other hand has been quite good in attack as well as being solid in defensive. also, if our fullbacks are the main reason for our attacks then i have to say "WELL DONE JOSE!!! 48 GOALS IN 20 MATCHES THIS SEASON!!! GOOD USE OF AZPI AND IVA AS OUR FULLBACKS!!!!" also, on how many instances did we find hazard and willian getting double marked on the wings against sunderland? i can barely remember any. they are the wingers, it is their job to provide the width even if it means getting double marked. and then our fullbacks can provide the overlap and the adequate support which they ALWAYS do. one poor result, and people are starting to find faults in our system as if we have gone months without scoring.

i hate these 3 words "PARK THE BUS".. it was a solid defensive performance from sunderland. whats more, they had better chances to score in the last 15-20 minutes than we had in the whole game. saying "parking the bus" is belittling a good defensive performance.
