Can't believe how fickle some fans are. It is almost embarrassing. Lukaku scores 2 goals and he is suddenly the bees knees and people say he should play more often and we should not loan him then he is not quite as good against PSG (a far better team) and suddenly people are on his back saying we should loan him ASAP and buy a world class striker. We have spent in excess of £50m already but our fans are so spoilt still asking for Cavani (oh hes only £35m please Roman) after Lukaku plays badly once. I'm not suggesting that Lukaku should start every game but he deserves a chance once in a while because he has great potential. Do you really expect his first touch to be perfect and him scoring 3 goals every game when he never gets a chance? He only turned 19 two months ago so he is probably not completely developed mentally yet. Hormones can affect your balance and control at that age which is natural in everybody.

He is the only realistic signing we need and then we are set for the season. He would be able to rotate with Ivanovic and for lesser games Hutchinson. It is more important this season that we have more than one quality player in all positions because we will be playing more games with the club world cup and Azpilicueta is a very talented player. if we can wrap up a deal for him before August it will stop any last minute panic-buying because we will have a squad that is good enough to compete for every trophy we compete for. We don't need Cavani or Hulk, they would be expensive wastes of money because we already have loads of midfielders and playing Cavani would restrict Lukaku's playing time even more

do you think it would be a good idea if we introduce a policy on the match tickets and travel section of having to make a certain number of posts before being able to request a match ticket in the same way that we do on the multimedia section? The amount of people simply using the site to try and get tickets for the Champions League final and who have contributed absolutely nothing to it since is amazing

Row A is the nearest to the pitch and rows then go back A, B, C etc. as you move further away from the pitch. After Row Z, this continues with rows AA, BB, CC etc. until you get to row JJ (last row). Generally I think it is the last 4 rows which can cause problems and the views are a bit like this because of the overhang of the Matthew harding Upper tier There is still an overhang in rows before the last 4 (row EE for example) but it will not impede your view really. Because of the way the stand is built it is not always the back 4 rows which are restricted view (in the curved parts row EE is restricted) Overall, I would say any row bar the last 4 in the MHL are good to sit in. Restricted view tickets are sold separately and at a discounted price so you will not end up with a restricted view seat unless you actually choose one. If you want to know in more detail I'd find someone who regularly sits in the MH lower (I don't often sit there)

Wobbly lip Ferdinand makes racist remarks on Twitter
Liquidator replied to pride of lions's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Lets not forget that Ashley Cole is not black. His father is from Barbados and is black but his mum is English and white. Therefore he is mixed-race, making him no more black than he is white, making Rio's remarks even more childish -
I still have dreams at night of how our midfield could have looked in 2007 if we had actually signed Gerrard as well Cech Ferreira Terry Carvalho Cole Makalele Ballack Lampard Gerrard Drogba Schevchenko sigh...

The collar on that thing was beautiful. You could slip a tie under it and wear it to your brother's wedding and not look out of place

Nice to see Sky already doing everything in their power to stop us. Why give us a Sunday game against a team with whom we are not rivals at a ground nowhere near others in the Premier League when we have a game on Wednesday anyway? Im surprised they didnt move QPR from 15:00 though

It was £5 at Palace and £1 for under 16's at Portsmouth last season if I remember rightly. I was thinking about trying to get away with an under 16 ticket but £15 for a pre season against an average championship team is taking the piss really. Can't be bothered with it this season

CHELSEA SIGNS THREE-YEAR AUDI DEAL
Liquidator replied to coolhead23's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Does this mean we will compete in the Audi Cup at some point? -
I don't support the idea of giving Didier a statue straight away. 50 years down the line though when we can fully appreciate what he has done for this club he should have one. Obviously his number 11 shirt should not be retired either but I don't think we should just give it out to somebody else straight away. They need to prove that they are worthy of wearing that shirt before they can wear it. Therefore i think the number 11 shirt should be unofficially retired for about 2 seasons.

He has signed for Barca on a 5 year deal
