I am not against him as a person and share your view that personal criticism of him is stupid and unnecessary. I am just frustrated at the optimism of some people when Torres scores one goal. my personal opinion of him is that he does not put in enough effort to get into positions that allow him a goalscoring opportunity but I like the majority of members on this forum would prefer to offer constructive criticism of him as a player rather than just call him a lazy twat or whatever.

My brother didn't have to do other sports coaching dave? He just did the course but he does not do any paid official coaching at the moment so that might be why (this is for FA coaching isn't it?)

Im not entirely sure but I think UEFA B and A coaching badges are really, really expensive (like £1000) and you can only do them once you have done level 3 FA Coaching (not 100% on that though)

He is a goalkeeper for an adults Saturday team but never did any coaching before the course. He isn't that great at football either, its more focussed on how well you can coach players than play.

My brother did it just last week actually. It was over 2 weekends (Saturday and Sunday). It basically involved a bit of first aid, being tested on how you coach an exercise (which is apparently near impossible to fail) and safeguarding children etc.

Good on him. Rival fans always treat him like shit even after all he does for the national team. How can people moan about lack of service? He does not get any service because he just stands next to defenders for 90 minutes the lazy fucker. He will have a 5 minute patch where he will pressure defenders then do nothing for 40 minutes. I actually watched Torres extra closely at the game today and was amazed how little he moves. When Oscar, Hazard or Mata had the ball he would either not run at all or make a half arsed 5 yard jog. Sell him ASAP because it is worrying that we only have 1 striker and he can't be bothered.

Stoke are a joke of a team. I'd play Ivanovic-Terry-Cahill-Cole Mikel Ramires Mata Lampard Moses Hazard Ramires plays better in the double pivot where he can make those runs. As Sturridge probably won't be fit, I honestly think we would do better with either Hazard or Moses up front. I only like the Euros and World Cup. Apart from that I hate international football.

Some of our 'fans' are an absolute joke. I don't care what he did yesterday or over the last few years he does not deserve abuse from people like on Twitter. People need to respect him regardless of what he does as a football player. The abuse of Kalou on his account was sickening too. Another celebrity forced to close their account because of some internet trolls who think they know about football.

Nice to see that Torres kept himself busy by doing absolutely fuck all again. Oscar was amazing though- 2 shots 2 goals, 90% pass completion and was really getting stuck into some tackles which is good for a small guy like him.
