chillerz reacted to Blue Colored Sky in The Mourinho Thread
Hmm, I just finished watching today's presser and I really liked it. The same for last week press conference. Those two beat majority of last season press conferences when Jose was there just not to be punished. Yes, he doesn't have this charm/mojo anymore or uses it very little (after COC final e.g.) but he talks a lot of deep-thought inside stuff that you can conteplate over. I hope he continues like this, definitely better than grumpy man, who rejects questions about everyone and everything.
For example he came from the situation with doctors very elegentaly saying that he has to make a decison every week, about players, assistans, kitmen, doctors and every week someone is left out because there's no space for everyone on the bench. And leaving out Jon and Eva is just another decision to make. Very nice.
He also said that we maybe won't sign anyone 'big' in this transfer window and just do Diego Costa and wait for the right moment which maybe isn't now. I was thinking about the exact same thing few days ago, Jose just confirmed it, definietely I would gladly wait instead of settling for some cheaper alternative.

Well no, that would make somebody a hypocrite.
Supporting Mourinho and occasionally looking the other way when he's been a naughty boy because you like having arguably the best manager around isn't delusional, that just makes good sense.
I don't disagree with you on principle though. I don't have a lot of time for people who call out person A for doing something whilst letting person B away with it. But what could this current situation be compared to to say that people supported Mourinho but lambasted person X?

Jesus Christ.I swear we are the only club in the world that have supporters criticising their own fellow supporters for backing a man that's made such a huge impact to their club.
It's truly unbelievable.

chillerz reacted to Stats in 👕 Chelsea Kits Thread
LOL, Why do people always fall for these kits and think they are going to be our new kits when they are clearly fake? Only Chelsea will know what the new kit looks like. Just look at the way the badge is positioned. Clearly fake. And if we are to have red, blue, white stripes by the neck and sleeve they will look much more presentable than that.

We should beat Arsenal really, beating Liverpool these days isn't really anything special these days without Suarez and an out of prime Gerrard.

Meh, the absolute balls-to-the-wall commitment I saw today entertained me enough alright.
People can keep their fancy passing triangles and third man releases (there are times for those as well, it is doubtless), I just know nothing stirs my balls more than Chelsea getting over the line and winning stuff.

Sorry you should tone down,,Chelsea offered one year lower wages (lets say 90k) and a part time job, he took part time job and 140k+ thats it. Stop insulting us with that nonsense that Chelsea didnt offer a contact

Jose Mourinho: "Our football v West Brom was in another dimension."
Frank Sinclair: "When you speak to Chelsea players they are not talking about the championship, they are talking about taking it game by game"
Thierry Henry: "Chelsea can go the season unbeaten. They are winning, wins give you confidence. You basically think you can't lose."
Jake Cohen : Chelsea remains the only unbeaten team in Europe with at least one goal scored in every league match this season
----------------------
Fun Fact : 14 out of the 17 teams in the Premier League are closer to the relegation zone than they are to Chelsea FC

Don't really understand what you find so funny about that ? It's true. Ramires does offer us drive and penetration. When games get stretched and space opens up Ramires is excellent pushing forward as he has loads of pace and likes to drive into space when it's there.
The Everton game was that kind of game.

chillerz reacted to The only place to be in 🇪🇬 Mohamed Salah
I don't see how that's obvious in the slightest. We're three games into the season, where the best left-back in Europe hasn't yet had a start because we're trying to get the train rolling form-wise first.
Salah will get opportunities. There's absolutely no reason to use either Costa or Ramires on the wings.

Will be a beast of a player for us from now on if he doesn't jerk off aka attending Arsenal Xmas party, he is better than Willian technically and once he tracks back more he will have a permanent place in the team ahead of Willian or Oscar.
-
chillerz reacted to gary gordon in 🇩🇪 André Schürrle
The thing I love about Schurrle is that he's a loyal, club success before personal success player. I'll never forget last year at the Bridge vs City, he was subbed very early after scoring and instead of having a sook, he sat on the bench and cheered the boys on. At full time he ran on the pitch and congratulated the team with massive enthusiasm.
He could have easily been a wanker like Mata and throw a public hissy fit and walk into the sheds, but he didn't.
He will go very far under José
