I don't know why we don't give the job to Zola, no compensation required and we may get Steve Clarke back. Remember when Bates gave the job to Gullit and Vialli, it took us up a level. Plus last season proved that he done a good job at West Ham....

Before we start raving about Liverpool and how "English" they are and are trying to be, lets remember that they only buy players that fit a certain criteria(this was said by the new owner Henry, they have to be the right age and have a large future sell on value). This is a template used by US sports teams (do any of the yanks on here know the name of it?).The cynic in me thinks that they can see how much established PL English players are worth in thier prime and they are looking to sell these players on when they reach that stage for a profit. I dont think they give a toss about the players... Does anyone else think this??

Without going over the same old arguments, I would go for Hiddink over Ancellotti for tactical superiority in big games(I base this on the evidence at thier time at Chelsea).

They are both good coaches. Hiddink is a better fit for Chelsea though...

Look at his last reign at PSV in 2002 -2006 - 3 leagues in 3 years and semi finals of the CL with no at the time big name players....he also discovered players aswell. I think his Holland style of play and team were pretty good to.

You cant compare him to Scolari. Hiddink has won the European Cup and managed clubs sides in Europe for a total of 14 yrs......Plus he knew when to shave his tache off!!!!!

In Hiddinks second spell at PSV he bought Park Ji Sung, Lee (Tottenham left back), Alex, Gomes, Farfan and Beasley. Interestingly, all were bought outside of Europe having never played here and all were sold to established European clubs at a profit....I think this bloke could really take our club forward....

He is the only manager we have had under Roman, who he actually seems to really trust and listen to. Hiddink could really build a legacy at Chelsea if he can get the job....

Don't think Roman will have him doing both roles. He accepted Russia because that is his country, but I doubt he will allow him to manageTurkey plus us. Also he is doing crap at Turkey at the moment so if he resigns it will be in everyones best interests.....
