This wont be the end of it i'm sure.....common sense will prevail in the end....
-
The club will have to take stock and make an official statement on the issue first....we will need patience here, the move will go through it will just take longer now....
-
Yeah, the CPO have made thier point.....lets not be stupid now and kill it the move completely, as we all know it is required....
-
It means that the club have been defeated this time around...they wil have to go back to the drawing board and make their plans more transparent to the CPO. I'm sure this will go through at some stage....
-
Hopefully the club will go back with another proposal and get the extra 14% required.....
-
The move can still happen but it is going to require more detailed information from the club to the CPO for them to sell the shares.....In short the CPO hold the cards now, lets see what the club offer them.... The fact is we need to move if we are going to compete longterm with the Manchester clubs....

No its not on TV - I would imagine that there will be a feed for it somewhere though...
-
He is not clumsy, he is an elegant footballer. He is rash - for the 3 examples of the above, I can think of 3 he has given away due to diving in - the Man U goal at OT, pen v Fulham, pen v QPR......there was a stage last season where he was defending properly, but this year he has gone all out. To be fair to him maybe AVB has said that is how he wants him to play though.....
-
But if he stays at centre half he will cost us more goals than he creates...its frustrating because he can defend properly when he wants to - this is a good test of AVB's management here. He needs to get Luiz to stand the attacker up and not dive in...dont give the attacker the chance to go down.....
-
Ho Ho, I've been waiting for you to come back Bush Ranger.....I'm going to give you credit, you must be in the 5-10% of QPR fans who can actually use a PC and have some kind of job in an office( I take it your on your lunch break) rather than working in some warehouse somewhere. I'm going on that basis by watching your "thug" fans on tv yesterday, who when Lampard and Mata were trying to take corners were using splendid language and hand gestures in front of young children - very classy....
-
Guys open your eyes here - Luiz is a liability at centre half at the moment...he is gonna cost us numerous points away from home.... I like him as a player but he has to either be pushed into centre midfield or our coaching staff need to teach him to just stand players up - it is not difficult. He has pace, he has technical ability, he has two feet and can head, pass and shoot. He could be the best defener in the world is he can just use his brain..... Cavalho was a clever defender who was very subtle in his fouling...
-
I'll be kinder and say they are the same size as Millwall, Charlton or possibly even Palace. I think that is a more than fair reflection. I say Brentford because Brentford fans consider them thier equals, I went to Loftus Road once in the Brentford end, when they played QPR in a league game a few years ago(you often see Chelsea fans at Brentford)...
-
I'm not saying that you are but it was a long time ago. Are we going on the size of clubs back in the mid 90's then??. Whats the big deal about the size of the club anyway, surely winning at home is more important (something you have not been able to do this season, you even lost to Rochdale at home this year in the CC).
-
I agree Chelsea are not as big a club as Liverpool or Man United. I would put them in the same bracket as someone like Man City. I have always put QPR on par with Brentford, that's how I honestly see you.
-
Do you think QPR have a bigger following than Chelsea then?
-
Official - RDM and Steve Holland appointed assistant coaches

Not sure if this is the best place to put this, but just read on Sky Sports News that Paul Clement has got the assistant managers job at Blackburn. Good luck Paul.. -
Apparently there is a fair bit of interest in him and I dont think he will get a huge wage at Chelsea now. Surely he has made enough dough now and will want to play somewhere regularly?
-
He has probably only been offered a new deal so he can't walk away for nothing at the end of the season. He is still only just 26, so would command a half decent fee. I would imagine the terms offered were at a reduced rate, as he has not signed it immediately. I reckon he will either sign a pre contract deal in January or go on a free at the end of the season. He must surely know what the majority of fans think of him, so why would he stay??
-
Interesting to hear a "yes" point of view from a paying ticket fan. I agree that we should vote yes and location does not really bother me. As I have said before though it is easy for me to say that as I am not a local business or buying tickets to watch us on a regular basis. Can totally understand the points of view of fans who are "No" at this stage. The higher ups at the club obviously could not give a fuck about the true fans and they are defo looking to move somewhere else in London, but then what big club owners do care about the fans espcially in todays climate??
-
Small world again mate, know that area well as my sister in law lives down Argyle Road (or maybe avenue) opposite the car dealership...
-
Interesting, I can see your point but utimately I would be prepared to sacrifice location for us becoming a bigger club.It is easy for me to say that though as I do not go anymore and only watch on the tele, whereas I see you put you hard earned dough into the club by buying a season ticket. I think the perfect scenario would be for the NO vote to be passed this time around, with the CPO indicating they would be able to change thier stance if a series of criteria were met. This could then be negotiated with the club and an acceptable proposal to move be accepted. I think the club have underestimated the CPO shareholders intelligence here and are now thinking of slimy ways to get fans on board(getting the captain and manager to speak out publicly will win the kids over but not the adults with half a brain). BTW - I'm in Richmond, not a million miles from Isleworth....
-
Without reading through the whole thread here mate, whats the big issue with voting yes??. Is it due to the fact that most "no's" want us to stay at the bridge due to historical reasons, or is it that they do realise we have to move but do not trust any of the above's intentions and want more say in where we go??. I can understand if the "no's" are for the second reason and want more input into our future. I would not trust Buck, Gourlay or Ambramovich but when he has put so much dough into the club already surely he wants to set us up for the future??. Bottom line is we will not compete with Man U consistantly unless we move and the reason for that is the new FFP rules.
-
Chelsea today has transformed from when I started going with my mates 15-20 years ago. We have sacrificed the old school matchday experience for a decent team that actually wins things!!. Yeah that is interesting news coming from Liverpool this morning. Can certainly see thier argument, and that would definately catapult us up longterm into the top brachet of earners in the PL. I guess the negative side would be that all other prem League clubs outside of Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool would threaten to revolt if it happended though. I would wager that it would be led by a certain Mr Levy....
-
Yeah I used to love that to, they were the place our players went to when they were over the hill on massive wages in the late 90's........Gavin Peacock, John Spencer, Vinnie Jones...
-
I went to high school in Acton and they trained on our playing fields(they were owned by British Gas). I used to love it because they were crap then and got relegated, and the man that took them down - Ray Wilkins... I always remind thier fans that the big rivalry for them is Brentford....
