  1. Azpi on the left has been solid defensively but doesn't offer much going forward, he needs to play on the right next season where he should be.
  2. Luiz for 35 million? Yes please. Seeing as Jose doesn't rate him at the back, 35 million for the midfielder Luiz is an excellent deal. Barcelona will play him at the back and he'll excel in their system. He's been great in midfield the last few weeks but i feel for that much we could get someone more suited to our needs, Modric for example.
  3. It's disappointing seeing English players go for so much, Everton will look at this Shaw deal and think they can sell Barkley for more... soon enough we might only have 1 or 2 English players in our team.
  4. It's not really up to him though, Southampton want 30m for him, we're not willing to pay that much but United are.
  5. To be fair Suarez looked shit against us as well and we were far more attacking against Liverpool than we were yesterday.
  6. When we're at our best, counter attacking with pace and power i honestly think that's exciting. The best performance I've seen from Chelsea in the last few years was against City, we were rock solid at the back but so dangerous on the counter. It was excellent. We obviously struggle to break down smaller sides but with a few additions to the team i think we'll be able to play with less caution and more freedom. Jose is rightly worried about our lack of goals up front, he cant really do anything about that until the summer so in the mean time we have to make sure we keep a clean sheet and hope one of our attacking midfielders show up the score or make an assist.
  7. To be fair if we wanted to play expansive attractive football i would have chosen Klopp over Pep.
  8. Haha it was good while it lasted. Although Chelsea and Man city are already ahead of United in terms of having a competitive sqaud, we only need to add a few more players (St, Cm, Lb) same with City really (although their sqaud is already Impressive) while United need a whole rebuild. They wont bother us next season lads.
  9. Carlo better than Mourinho? come on, he's clearly not.
  10. I see some people praising Rui Faria for showing 'passion', to me that was truly unprofessional and lacked class. There are many ways to show passion, screaming (putting it nicely) at the fourth official and referee isn't one of them. It got to the point where Mourinho had to drag him away, honestly it was embarrassing to watch.
  11. Personally i think the ball will be left on the centre circle, both teams will just stand there waiting to see who dares touch the ball first.
  12. Look at Liverpool' desire, tempo and willingness to end this game early. Yesterday our boys thought it would be easy and all they had to do was turn up... our tempo was far too lethargic, no urgency at all. The funny thing is we started to up it when we went behind... the last two months in the league has been disappointing to say the least. Liverpool probably derserve this, they hit good form at the right time, 5 or 6 unbeaten now. While Chelsea and City both had a meltdown in the last month or so.
  13. I hate Liverpool but look how up they are for this match against Norwich. .. our players yesterday thought it'll be a stroll in the park. Yesterday we fucking bottled it.
  14. Just to think a few pages ago we were all so happy, the first time we had it in our hands and we fuck it up... typical.
  15. 30 million far too much, i'm a big fan (even have him as my avi), but fuck spending that much for him. Ridiculous amount for a left back. I will be disappointed though, seeing as Lampard, Cole and Terry will be retiring soon we'll be left with very few English players...
  16. Was terrible today, attacking wise he was shocking... had two or three chances where he could of put someone through on goal but decided against it. He doesn't have the vision or creativity, simple as that. I don't care how young he is, in two or three years do you think he'll suddenly learn to pass like Mata or Silva? of course not. What also annoyed me was the fact that he kept on shooting from 30 yards out... IMO Kagawa would be perfect for us right now, bash me all you want, but his work rate, creativity and close control would be perfect for us. United have never really played him behind the striker, so its unfair to really slate him.
  17. Jesus Christ, get a hold of yourself... you sound like a Liverpool fan.
  18. Awful footballer, absolutely awful. His actions today was a disgrace, in such an important match he decides to strike someone in the face... does he have a brain? he'll get a lengthy ban and this should be the last time we see him in a Chelsea shirt. Good goal against Barcelona, well done, shame about the rest of your Chelsea Career.
  19. No. Makes more mistakes than Luiz at the back and gets injured every month.
  20. News just in, Morgan Schneiderlin will be investigated by the FA for praising Chelsea and Mourinho.
  21. When I heard that City scored in the second minute i thought game over, but fuck me well done Sunderland. To think this is the same team that lost 5-1 against Tim Sherwoods Tottenham... the pl is crazy.
  22. I obviously want him, but i'm a bit skeptical about signing him for so much. This is his first season where he has scored more than 20 goals in the league, what if he's just having a great season? Aguero, Torres (Atleti days), Suarez, Ibra and Cavani all had great goal scoring records before they made their big money move, if you look back at Costa's goal scoring record before this season, it's very hit and miss. He could have just matured and flourished under Simone, i don't know, but the reported price (50m) has me feeling a bit uneasy all of a sudden.
  23. Simeone on Costa Injury: “Costa is fine, he is happy. He has a cut, but its not a big deal."
  24. If Liverpool win this it will give them so mich confidence, it's going to be hard to win at Anfield right now, but you know Mourinho, he loves when we're our underdogs.
  25. I swear the question was about them as managers and not how well they dress.... Term x brought up that point before about Jose not dressing well, honestly, who gives a fuck? He hardly ever wears a tracksuit anyway, the majority of the time he's in a suit. Simeone, Pep, Carlo, Mourinho and Klopp are all top quality managers, best in Europe for sure.
