You clearly don't watch Everton enough, Baines has been one of the best LB's in the PL for the past two seasons... So every non-Chelsea fan wants Cole to go to the world cup? fucking hell mate, you've lost it. Ashley Cole was* one of the best Left backs, not anymore. Yes, Baines is only rated highly because of his set pieces... haha if that was the case Ian Harte would be one of the best LBs ever. You're embarrassing yourself mate.
-
You're deluded if you think Cole right now is better than Baines.
-
Why? Baines is better in all aspects. Baines and Shaw should go.

Atletico will sit deep, defend and counter. They are one of the best at doing it, last week was a strange one, we sat so deep we forced them into being on the front foot. This wont happen at Stamford bridge, it'll be our turn to be more adventurous while they sit deep and look for the counter. This will be a close, nervy game.
-
My main gripe is that he needs 3-4 chances to score.

In the space of a month Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Sunderland all beat us... haha to be fair that's absolutely shocking.

Sissoko is like Ramires, relies on athleticism rather than technically ability. If Ramires frustrates you, trust me, Sissoko is 10x worse. There's a reason why Pardew mostly plays him out on the wing. I'd throw Tiote into that category as well, he's known for his power, pace and strength but technically he's frustrating to watch, he also has a mean streak like Ramires. Cabaye and Tiote complemented each other very well because it was a combination of technically ability and pure strength and power.

If City drop points against Everton, Liverpool will pounce, their fans will be buzzing and so will the players. Suddenly they will feel upbeat and know if they win they have basically won the league (last game against Newcaslte at Anfield...). If City win on Saturday Liverpool will be going into that game on Monday still down about the Chelsea game, they wont have the momentum and it will be easier for Palace to cause an upset. I just don't want Liverpool to win it. We had our chance but we've blown it, both Liverpool and City need to fuck up for us to win which seems unlikely.
-
^ I actually want City to beat Everton, Liverpool play on the Monday against Palace and if City drop points on the Saturday it'll be back in Liverpool's hands. No doubt they'll be up for it if that's the case. If City beat Everton it'll be the opposite, Liverpool will still be hurting from loss against Chelsea and may drop points.

Should be very interesting indeed. Adrian Durham will come out with his usual nonsense, guarantee he will mention the following; parking the bus, anti-football, Big Sam and Pulis.
-
It will be interesting to see what Carragher says tonight considering all week he's been bashing United (vs Everton) and Bayern (vs Real) for their 'pointless possession'.
-
He wasn't a pundit today, Souness and Quinn did it instead. I'd expect him to respond on Wednesday seeing as Sky are showing the match. It must be weird for Lampard seeing as Redknapp is his cousin haha
-
Fully deserved, he's been brilliant this season. Next season he'll get the main one.

You're not safe anywhere from GOT spoilers.. first Frankie Boyle posted spoilers on twitter (i happened to look at them ffs ) and now in the Mourinho thread...
-
Fuck sake, whats with the GOT spoilers?
-
Haha I know, sorry about that. I need to change that..

It's Jose' word against theirs, obviously he was being sarcastic but can they prove it? They'll charge him anyway but I find it ridiculous.
-
Do you say 'us' or 'we' when talking about Chelsea?
bababoom replied to Beepu's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
To be honest I don't really think about it. But I do use 'we' and 'us', I see nothing cringey about it at all, we do support the club. In R/L nearly everyone I know who's into football says 'we', it's normal for me. -
I am speaking for myself, he's not good enough. For Villa he's been average at best.
-
Not good enough.
-
Azpi on the left has been solid defensively but doesn't offer much going forward, he needs to play on the right next season where he should be.
-
Luiz for 35 million? Yes please. Seeing as Jose doesn't rate him at the back, 35 million for the midfielder Luiz is an excellent deal. Barcelona will play him at the back and he'll excel in their system. He's been great in midfield the last few weeks but i feel for that much we could get someone more suited to our needs, Modric for example.
-
It's disappointing seeing English players go for so much, Everton will look at this Shaw deal and think they can sell Barkley for more... soon enough we might only have 1 or 2 English players in our team.
-
It's not really up to him though, Southampton want 30m for him, we're not willing to pay that much but United are.
-
To be fair Suarez looked shit against us as well and we were far more attacking against Liverpool than we were yesterday.
