  1. Bring Yossi Benayoun on for God's sake. Take Anelka off, bring on Torres as well. Benayoun + Torres = GOAL. Simple as.
  2. Bet they completely forgot about it. The way they performed in the first half is very similar to the game against United. They show no real will to win the fucking game. Unless they show real will to win games like a team, we're not going to win anything. Come on Carlo, give the players some bloody motivation. Tell them what playing for Chelsea Football Club means.
  3. It hurts me to say and admit it, but Frank has been one of our worst performers recently. He's playing really, really poor. Malouda has obviously improved a bit, he seems to understand better with Drogba and Anelka than with Torres for obvious reasons - for being French-speakers.
  4. Could someone please find me a good live stream which won't freeze during the game? My brother won't let me watch this one as he's watching his Bayern play in what he calls 'Bavarian derby'. Derby my arse. I'll have to watch the first half on the internet, sadly.
  5. Looks brilliant on paper, and so will it look on the pitch I imagine. Anelka - Torres seems to be the best possible partnership. And Bosingwa's not playing, it means a win. If Essien doesn't improve on this game, Carlo should definitely start Mikel over him on Tuesday.
  6. I am failing to understand all this. First, fans ask from Roman to spend on transfers, yet they blame him for not spending money when they wanted him to, and they like to determine the time when he spends on players, ridiculous. Torres is what we needed during our crisis, and the club still is in crisis. It's not just Torres, how many of our players have been performing well, or how many have our other strikers scored since Torres joined? It's not Torres' fault. When he plays poor, it's because he gets no service at all, when he gets service, he hits it as well as he can but he's just unlucky because goalkeepers save his scoring attempts, sometimes it's just not meant to be. Benching him for the rest of the season would be the worst ever decision made by Carlo, it would give us as a club and Torres a negative reputation and Pool fans and co. would be enjoying it to the maximum. He will bloody score at Old Trafford, and I fucking mean it.
  7. He is a loser and manages a team full of losers, therefore I don't give a damn what he says.
  8. Petr's telling nothing but the truth, and is stating true facts. Why the hell did they even add the referee behind the goal when they don't see obvious and clear penalties like this. Picture on TX's post tells you that the ref had a quite clear view as well. That's two, not to mention the assistant. Bloody hell, UEFA is a joke, fucking joke.
  9. Totally disagree. Malouda has been Chelsea's worst player this season, can't beat any of his opponents in one versus one situations, which is what a winger should do, nor can he produce a great assist or a cross. As for Anelka, he's way too slow. Not a big game player and hasn't got the qualities to break United's defence. Torres showed his great skills and technique against United on Wednesday, and his header almost went in. Therefore it would be utterly pointless if he's dropped from the line-up. It's obvious that Carlo likes him and rightly so - he's our best striker and he should no doubt start against a team like Man U, and in a big game like this.
  10. Cech Ivanovic - Alex - Terry - Cole Ramires - Mikel - Lampard Kalou - Drogba - Torres or Cech Ivanovic - Alex - Terry - Cole Essien - Mikel Ramires - Lampard Torres - Drogba
  11. We WILL win would be more appropriate in hard times like this.
  12. What I thought exactly. And the way they celebrate when either of them scores for England makes you think they're good friends too.
  13. He's a complete twat anyway. The way he celebrates in front of Chelsea fans when he scores tells you about his character. When has Drogba or any other Chelsea player ever done that to Manure fans?
  14. Where did you hear that? If Rooney believes in God, he has every right to point in the sky. I do it myself when I score in a game.
  15. Essien must be dropped definitely. John Mikel is better than him, simples.
  16. Carlo's tactics were wrong last night. We never looked confident enough with the ball, even though we had a lot of chances which had we taken, things would be a lot different. What disappointed me to the maximum was that we saw no improvement in terms of tactics or motivation in the second half. We played like we did in the first half, and it's Carlo's fault definitely. He must finally show everyone that he's got the balls to make tactic changes and moves, as our style of football has been boring and disappointing not only last night, but during the whole season. He has got a squad full of world class players, but problem is that he doesn't know how to use them. 4-4-2's not working, 4-3-3 is our formation. Cech Ivanovic - Alex - Terry - Cole Ramires - Mikel - Lampard Kalou - Drogba - Torres If Carlo uses that line-up on Tuesday, I would guarantee him that it would work better than his own line-up did last night. Ivanovic is irreplacable on the right, we don't have a better right back in the team and he's been solid, I have a lot of trust on this player and his great defensive skills never disappoint me. Alex - even though he still hasn't played after getting back from injury, it doesn't matter. He is a defender and a defender hardly loses his defensive skills when injured, and especially Alex, who's a real beast. Him and Terry in the centre would be a real wall to break for Manure. They seemed to be quite dangerous in croses last night, Chicharito nearly scored twice, and with Alex back in centre, I imagine that we can win in all of our aerial battles. Lampard isn't the Lampard he was last season, but there is no one in our current squad who can start over him for the game on Tuesday. Benayoun has only played five games for us and it would be way too risky to start him, but as a substitute he's promising. Mikel is better than Essien on his current form, he's not the same old Bison, makes mistakes and lost his defensive skills. Kalou, with his quick feet and dribbling abilities can lead us to the goal easily, he often gets a ball from nowhere and creates great scoring opportunities. Drogba has scored in his last game at Old Trafford, why not do it again? Torres was near to scoring last night, and he has good memories at Old Trafford, having scored twice. Anelka is definitely not an option, he's way to slow and not a real threat for United's defence. It's definitely not over yet, and United know it very well. They know who they will have to play against, and even though they outplayd us last night, for us there is still time for improvement. Carlo along with the players should re-watch the game over and over again and see what they did wrong in order to improve for the game on Tuesday. It's simplier than it looks. We put a lot of pressure in the first half, score an early goal, then constantly push for a second. It's United who's under pressure not us, I expect us to be the dominating team on Tuesday in terms of offensive play. Remember when we beat Liverpool 3-1 away at Anfield two years ago. They came to the Bridge with enough confidence to put great pressure from the first minute and score two goals only in the first half, and their situation was twice as bad as ours. They had to score 3 and not concede, we have to score two, even if we concede 1, we're still through. Nothing is impossible, the ball is round and I'm actually quite confident about the game on Tuesday. The last opportunity for Frank Lampard and John Terry. They can win this game, they can win the Champions League this season. They have to.
  17. Playing Malouda, Kalou and Anelka instead of Mikel, Ramires and Torres would be shocking. Malouda has been our worst performer, whereas in contrary Ramires has been our best. And we can't afford to play Anelka who in big games doesn't do much, and let Torres on bench, someone who we paid 58 million for.
  18. It's a disgrace, a fucking disgrace.
  19. Petr Cech - 7 Jose Bosingwa - 4 Branislav Ivanovic - 7 John Terry - 7 Ashley Cole - 7 Michael Essien - 6 Ramires - 7 Frank Lampard - 6 Yuri Zhirkov - 5 Fernando Torres - 7 Didier Drogba - 6
  20. Exactly what we did not need. A game before the most important game of the season, which is away at Old Trafford. But I'm confident about this, 4-0.
  21. I've said it before. Torres won't score unless Benayoun plays. In games like these, we need the skills and the quick feet of Yossi Benayoun.
