  1. Next season's league top scorer.
  2. Good idea Essien. Games like these are highly entertaining to watch, and especially now that there are five Chelsea players. Means we can still see some of our legends play even after the league has ended.
  3. No way. He's old now. We won't be wanting to sell an oldie to bring another.
  4. Put Mikel instead of Essien, Essien in Lampard's place and we're fine.
  5. Apparently, in 160 minutes of playing together Drogba and Torres have only passed to each other five times and one of those was from the kick off. This is way more worrying than I thought.
  6. Anelka has good skills and technique, but he is a lazy son of a bitch who doesn't seem to give a damn atm. Therefore he must definitely be sold in the summer.
  7. Cech Ivanovic/Ferreira - Luiz - Terry - Cole Mikel Ramires - Benayoun Drogba - Torres - Malouda Give Frank, Essien and Alex a rest. Alex wasn't that confident on Tuesday, he was beaten on many occasions. With Drogba returning to his form and starting to perform well, he should definitely start. Don't fucking lose the faith on Torres or else he'll be the next Andriy Shevchenko with no single doubt. Remove him on 60 or 70 minutes if he doesn't score, but don't bloody bring that prick Kalou on. He has not improved at all, not even a little since his first Chelsea season. His first touch is horribly laughable, and a player who is supposed to be a professional and who can't receive one ball properly doesn't deserve to play for Chelsea Football Club. I've seen improvement on Malouda since that Wigan game, he was not that bad against United on Tuesday either, I saw the 1/4 of last season's Malouda, he was unstopabble in some of his runs. Carlo must definitely play John Mikel and Benayoun on this one. Enough of the stupid decisions. Let's win this.
  8. I like Carlo, for the fact that he's an example of how all football coaches should be. He has won the Champions League twice in the past 10 years, but I don't see him winning it with Chelsea. He had the chance twice, last season we lost home and away to Inter, this season the same against United. One season was enough to test his real skills and see if he can rescue our season, but it seems it wasn't to be. We can't risk another trophyless season. No people, I won't be saying 'There is always next season' in the end of the next season too. We should win a major trophy, be it the CL or the League. I have a lot of respect for you Carlo, but, all good things come to an end. Thanks for all the fish.
  9. How on earth did that cunt Ferdinand not get sent off for this?
  10. Fernando Torres is way too good to be a flop, and he can't be called as one. The media and football fans love calling players flops if they don't perform as good as people would have expected them to. But next season he will regain his confidence and all what is needed to become the league's top scorer. The thing that worries me is that he has no confidence in himself atm, which is why the defenders aren't as scared of him as they used to be. He just needs that first bloody goal, then the pressure will ease, and he will start scoring for fun.
  11. Villas Boas or Jose Mourinho please. We need a winning manager, a manager that will add a winning mentality into the team.
  12. Thanks, but no thanks. We have the best goalkeeper in the world.
  13. Thanks, but no thanks. We have the best goalkeeper in the world.
  14. How on earth could I forget Bosingwa on my first post?! I suppose I was too shocked from the defeat and I couldn't think properly, even though in my mind he has always been top of that list. Post edited now. As for Lampard, the club can't sell him, I would be shocked if it happened. Just a few months before we were all hoping he would finish his footballing career with Chelsea, now suddenly everyone is against him? Don't be too harsh on Frank. This has no doubt been his worst season over the last few years, but nobody is perfect. Carlo should rest Lamps for a game or two, let him return to his old form gradually. Lampard is a Chelsea legend, legends can't be sold, it's as simple as that.
  15. His age doesn't matter. Drogba is still one of the best strikers in the world, the club can't sell him. He's not been playing that bad. Scored against Stoke and played quite well against United in both legs - two dumb decisions from Carlo though. He should have played 90 minutes in the first leg and he should have started in the second, but what is done is done. I really hope the club doesn't sell him, at least keep him for one more season. I bloody love the man.
  16. Real Madrid. Jose Mourinho is my favourite manager, so I'd like to see him win it. I honestly don't think that United stand a chance. First, do not underestimate Schalke, they've beaten the current champions at their home by scoring five times. Raul could score a goal or two against United, he knows how to score in this competition. Even if they manage to go to the final though, Madrid or Barcelona would beat them definitely.
  17. We've got David Luiz. Alex is too good to be a subsitute. So he must change teams.
  18. Jose Bosingwa Paulo Ferreira Nicolas Anelka Yuri Zhirkov Florent Malouda Salomon Kalou Alex
  19. It's not all Carlo's fault. We're lacking quality wingers. Last season Malouda was our best winger, he assisted in many occasions, scored many goals and was in top-form, hence we scored that many goals and won the league. This season Malouda has been poor, and we have no other wingers in the team. We need to get a top winger, who can scare the shit out of the opponents, a winger who can cross in the head of Fernando Torres or Didier Drogba, and the goals will come. Simple as. Ramires, Essien and Lampard can't run, pass between each other, change flanks, go down the wing at the same time, cross, then if the cross fails return to their midfield position again... no, it can't work. They're not aliens, they're human beins. Look at Real Madrid, they have got Di Maria, Ronaldo. Barcelona have got Messi and Iniesta. United have got Giggs, Valencia, Nani. Us and Inter are lacking wingers. I've taken Inter as an example because both clubs have gone through a disappointing season. In modern football, you must have a quality winger if you want to win a game, and the competition. Roman Abramovich did the right thing, and I admire him for what he has done for this club. We needed a world class striker, a world class striker he brought. We needed a young, creative midfielder, he brought him. We needed a young world class centre-back, a class CB we got. Now what we need is quality wingers, and I'm sure that Roman will spend on one or two. Roll on next season, carefree.
  20. Get rid of Torres? Plastic fans. How much service did Fernando Torres receive during all night? Some people never seem to understand. Look how many times Gerrard and co. fed him with balls when he was a Liverpool player. He's a centre forward, not the Drogba sort of player who fights for the ball in every part of the pitch. In football, players differ from each other, not everybody is the same. Torres needs a good ball, he hasn't been given one. Give him a GOOD ball, see if he scores or not.
  21. What we need is wingers, top quality wingers. Modern football is played through the flanks, not boring predictable passes like we do. United have got Giggs, Valencia, Nani, Rooney. We got no one.
  22. Too true. Paulo Ferreira is a brilliant footballer, shame he never gets the credit he deserves.
