  1. Exactly what I didn't want to happen. This is the game where Torres could shine, but Carlo decides to rest him, lovely.
  2. I hope not. I want him to score his first tonight. Chances that he'll score against City are not as big. Tonight he has a great opportunity of scoring.
  3. And Nicklass Bendtner
  4. Very true. And players like that can't be called world-class, definitely.
  5. No, I don't think that Joe Cole is a world-class player. He used to be skillful and fast, but he has lost even these two now.
  6. I wouldn't, I'm being 100% honest. I've always been a huge fan of Torres even since his Atletico Madrid days, he was and still is one of my favourite footballers and he must be the only one to have scored against us that I haven't sworn or shouted at. When he signed for us on deadline day, my dream (which I thought would never become true, ever!) became true. But until he scores that first goal for us, I still can't fully convince myself that we've bought him. And as someone's mentioned, you can't hate players like Torres. He was never arrogant and he respected Chelsea and Chelsea respected him.
  7. They just did. They couldn't take advantage of Inter's result, stupid stupid Milan.
  8. Thanks Alex. Here's some more I've made:
  9. "And it's Arsenal FC, we're the biggest arse team, the world has ever seen." Arse+Anal, Arsene Wenger, Arshavin (Arse Shavin')
  10. In no particular oder, apart from Fabregas: Fabregas Tevez Rooney Van Persie Vidic Iniesta Ferdinand Daniel Agger Daniel Alves Berbatov Giggs Van der Sar Hunt Stankovic Evra Mascherano
  11. Who wouldn't want Wesley Sneijder? He is no doubt one of the best for his position. Fantastic midfielder.
  12. Expanding the stadium would be terrific. More fans, more noise, more atmosphere.
  13. Did you watch the game against Blackpool? Torres can't take the ball from defence and take on all of the opponents by himself and then beat the keeper. A forward has to score, yes, but he must get service from his team mates in order to do so.
  14. I'm with Carlo on this one. Leaving our key players on the bench would be too much of a risk, Copenhagen have nothing to lose so I expect them attempting to score. Nothing is impossible in football; if Copenhagen gets an early goal then the pressure increases and God knows what might happen. We must score first, then play our game.
  15. Stay strong pal. I'm sure that Leukaemia will soon give up because you are much stronger.
  16. I think and hope that we're going to finish 3rd. As for the league, I'm being a realist, so no.
  17. Hey Jim, I know that I'm not supposed to do avatars but I found a good picture of Lampard and I was quite bored, so I thought I'd give it a go. Here it is: I can help you when I have free time, if you want me to. If I'm creating any trouble, please tell me.
  18. If we lose this, it would be an embarrasing loss. Last season they beat us twice and they won against us this season too. It would be a shame if they get a 100% record in their last 4 games against us. A draw wouldn't be too bad I suppose.
  19. I partly agree. But Torres isn't always in the right place in the right time. Anelka scored twice against Copenhagen, Torres didn't, even though he had more great opportunities to score than Anelka. David Luiz came from defence to score a stunning volley against Manure, Torres was not there when he had to be. John Terry scored from defence tonight, Lamps came from midfield to be one on one with the keeper and punish him, it could have also been Torres, and Torres's chances are even bigger considering that he's a center forward. It's easier than it looks, Torres complicates things for himself sometimes.
