Stands for Online Football Manager. Do any of you play it? http://www.onlinefootballmanager.co.uk Not trying to do any sort of advertisement, just thought we could discuss how everyone's doing with their teams and all that. If nobody plays it, no point in letting this open obviously. I'd expect that someone here plays it, as it's rather popular. It's no doubt the best online football management game on the internet.

Cech - 8. Petr keeps showing us his great goalkeeping skills and reflexes. He has no doubt been the best performer of the club this season. Ferreira: 7 - Much, much better than his compatriot Bosingwa. I didn't see him make one real mistake in defence, and he was always running forward trying to produce crosses and assists. Credit to Paulo, good game. Ivanovic: 7 - Solid, done the job well. David Luiz : 7 - When with the ball, he is awesome. Brings joy to the fans with his amazing skills when attacking, but defensively he should improve his attitude as he makes some silly fouls. As one of the commentators on TV said, he must know that he should not be the one with the ball all the time, he must be patient and take the ball from the opponent without creating fouls. We've seen Luiz do that in the game versus Fulham, where we could have easily been punished hadn't Cech saved Dempsey's penalty. We've seen him do it against United too, thankfully he wasn't sent off, against Stoke and today as well. But he will improve, no doubt about it. He's still young and will improve. Cole: 6 - Not really spectacular today. But Wigan was always fighting to retain position and they were a tough side. Malouda: 6 - He scored the winner, he deserves credit for it. Hadn't he scored, I'd give him a 5, but a goal is a goal no matter how it is scored, especially today's goal, as it proved to be the winner as well. I thought I saw a bit of improvement on Malouda, but he's always failing to cross, pass or get passed his opponents properly. Loses position easily. Ramires: 7 - No doubt our best midfielder. He's everywhere and is a hard worker, he saved some really important lost balls today and defensively did a great job in taking the ball off Wigan players. Lampard: 5 - It hurts me to admit it but Frank has been playing quite poor. In fact, I don't think that he contributes much to the team. Loses position, seems to be struggling to win battles one versus one and his passing isn't as it used to be. I feel that Ramires has taken his duties now. Mikel: 5 - Didn't do much. Carlo did a good job on taking him off. Anelka: 6 - Nico was quite quick when with the ball in his feet today. Managed to beat Wigan's defenders on some occasions and showed good skills and technique. Didn't do much else to be remembered though. Drogba: 7 - I feel that Drogba's returning to his old form, owning the defenders when one versus one, and his crosses and assits are quite good. We saw that in the game against United as well. SUBS Benayoun: 7 - Showed great skills, technique and vision. I've mentioned it before he even returned on many threads that once he gets back, Torres will get a smile back on his face and will be much more likely to score. Alex: 6 - Didn't do that much but made no mistakes, as far as I'm concerned he has not lost his great defensive skills and let's hope he hasn't. He should definitely start on Tuesday, with Ivanovic on the right. Torres: 7 - Had some really great chances, but he was unlucky. Wigan's goalkeeper made a great save, and in the other chance he had his first touch wasn't that great though, I must admit. He could have done much better on that, he has no one but himself to blame for that wasted opportunity. He must have more confidence on himself.

Legs of Vidic, Ferdinand and co. are shaking

This picture makes it look like he's scored a wonder goal

I was hoping that after getting a new haircut he would retain his form of last season back but no, it seems that Malouda is too old ant too tired now, last season he was like a 24 year old, running during the whole 90 minutes, creating chances, scoring goals, crossing, assisting and all that. I believe that the 8 games left are enough for the club to see whether he improves or not. If he does, which is highly unlikely, they should think about it. If he does not improve, sell him definitely. We're likely to end a trophy less season, we can't risk another if he stays.
-
I don't think that we should get over excited with the Sturridge situation. He has adapted to the Bolton squad very well, but how sure can we be that he would adapt with us as well? Maybe he won't score at as many once he gets back, if he gets back. I would not be surprised if he gets Torres' luck to be honest, but let's hope that next season he returns to Chelsea and scores as many as possible.
-
Agreed, especially on the Ferreira bit. He was quite good today, solid defensively and showed quite dangerous many times offensively - trying his hardest to create chances and get us to the goal. Paulo deserves credit.
-
He must come back definitely. We're struggling to score more than one goal per game and with Sturridge in the team goals will definitely come next season. He's a great striker.
-
Important three points. We played much better in the second half, and I see that Yossi Benayoun hasn't lost his class, albeit being out for quite a long period. He showed great technique and I'm very glad that he is back, hopefully Carlo starts him on Tuesday. With him and Ramires creating chances we could bang in a goal or two.

BENAYOUN on for MIKEL.

Bring Yossi Benayoun on for God's sake. Take Anelka off, bring on Torres as well. Benayoun + Torres = GOAL. Simple as.
-
Bet they completely forgot about it. The way they performed in the first half is very similar to the game against United. They show no real will to win the fucking game. Unless they show real will to win games like a team, we're not going to win anything. Come on Carlo, give the players some bloody motivation. Tell them what playing for Chelsea Football Club means.
-
It hurts me to say and admit it, but Frank has been one of our worst performers recently. He's playing really, really poor. Malouda has obviously improved a bit, he seems to understand better with Drogba and Anelka than with Torres for obvious reasons - for being French-speakers.
-
Could someone please find me a good live stream which won't freeze during the game? My brother won't let me watch this one as he's watching his Bayern play in what he calls 'Bavarian derby'. Derby my arse. I'll have to watch the first half on the internet, sadly.
-
Looks brilliant on paper, and so will it look on the pitch I imagine. Anelka - Torres seems to be the best possible partnership. And Bosingwa's not playing, it means a win. If Essien doesn't improve on this game, Carlo should definitely start Mikel over him on Tuesday.

I am failing to understand all this. First, fans ask from Roman to spend on transfers, yet they blame him for not spending money when they wanted him to, and they like to determine the time when he spends on players, ridiculous. Torres is what we needed during our crisis, and the club still is in crisis. It's not just Torres, how many of our players have been performing well, or how many have our other strikers scored since Torres joined? It's not Torres' fault. When he plays poor, it's because he gets no service at all, when he gets service, he hits it as well as he can but he's just unlucky because goalkeepers save his scoring attempts, sometimes it's just not meant to be. Benching him for the rest of the season would be the worst ever decision made by Carlo, it would give us as a club and Torres a negative reputation and Pool fans and co. would be enjoying it to the maximum. He will bloody score at Old Trafford, and I fucking mean it.
-
He is a loser and manages a team full of losers, therefore I don't give a damn what he says.

"We get dud ref decisions every year in the Champions League"
HRiver replied to Term-X's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Petr's telling nothing but the truth, and is stating true facts. Why the hell did they even add the referee behind the goal when they don't see obvious and clear penalties like this. Picture on TX's post tells you that the ref had a quite clear view as well. That's two, not to mention the assistant. Bloody hell, UEFA is a joke, fucking joke. -
Totally disagree. Malouda has been Chelsea's worst player this season, can't beat any of his opponents in one versus one situations, which is what a winger should do, nor can he produce a great assist or a cross. As for Anelka, he's way too slow. Not a big game player and hasn't got the qualities to break United's defence. Torres showed his great skills and technique against United on Wednesday, and his header almost went in. Therefore it would be utterly pointless if he's dropped from the line-up. It's obvious that Carlo likes him and rightly so - he's our best striker and he should no doubt start against a team like Man U, and in a big game like this.

Cech Ivanovic - Alex - Terry - Cole Ramires - Mikel - Lampard Kalou - Drogba - Torres or Cech Ivanovic - Alex - Terry - Cole Essien - Mikel Ramires - Lampard Torres - Drogba

Foursome.
