  1. He may be a horrible little twat but would be a excellent singing. Not going to happen so no need to even go there.
  2. Im not saying he aint good but it annoys me when no body seems to mention the silly foul's and penalty's he gives away yet when Luiz makes as much as one mistake he gets villified. Not saying he aint good but he imo he is not this completely solid, nothing gets past him defender the rags like to believe he is, put it this way i would much rather he have been playing then Ferdinand sunday, Rio makes defending look like a piece of piss.
  3. It fucking annoys me how David Luiz is reckless and a accident waiting to happen but Vidic does the same as Luiz but 10 times worse yet he gets widely regarded as the best defender in the world, its pathetic. Luiz may have been a tad fortunate to stay on the pitch one or two times but if ref's had balls Vidic would be off 90% of the time, Vidic has given away just the same amount of pens as Luiz in the same time period. Luiz still has class about him, Vidic's brand of defending is kicking players into thin air, tugging shirts, grabbing hold of players like he is about to bone the shit out of them and handball's. Yes he has made a few mistakes but this is his first half season in the league this is Vidic's 5th yet he still get's exposed more times than the Manc loving media and every one whitewashed by hi brand of defending would have you believe. Luiz gets slated for one mistake at Old Trafford which was not solely his fault, yet wasn't Vidic the one that got skinned silly by Yaya Toure in the FA Cup semi and Eto'o in the CL final 2 years before that? yet no one says anything about that. As for him not playing centre back in a big game? im sorry but did you see the United and City home games? yes he may have been fortunate to stay on against United but i can't remember any clear cut opening's either side created and that was down to Luiz. Also in the Liverpool match although it was only 20 minutes did Liverpool get through us with Luiz on the pitch? Can i also say our most static performances last season came when Luiz was not playing, is it a coinsidence that we looked lively with him in the PL then static even against Copenhagen without him? Also when Carlo scapegoated him at OT (which even as a Carlo fan found that disgracefull) he was dropped then we produced argubally our 2 most dire perfomances of even last season? again it cant be a coinsidence. As i said in the OP there is no 2 ways about it without him in the United and City home games, both teams would have created more chances and i highly doubt we would have broke either side down. Also may i add the made the most interceptions in the whole league last season and he only played half a season, don't let a couple of rash mistakes (the same rash shit gets Vidic and Carragher branded world beaters) he is a class CENTRE HALF who is only going to get better.
  4. Speaking of the anti Chelsea media we could win 6-1 and they will still find fault infact i imagine something like this will occur. In the brackets is my imput compared to the media's Bout as anti Chelsea as i can think off and sad thing is even if we do pull off that scoreline the rag's match report won't be too far off that.
  5. Fat Ronaldo is the best forward and player ive seen. Back to the topic i just can't see us getting beat. United may have rested some players but they still traveled and we didn't which could have a affect, Luiz has to start who cares about one bad moment litrally moment there last season lightening does not often strike twice and while he can be a bit reckless he most certaintly can defend, why does Luiz get lambusted as a accident waiting to happen but Vidic widely regarded as one of the finest around for doing exactly what Luiz does and more? I think we will get atleast a draw and Andre will do something that will take Fergie by surprise.
  6. Sorry guys but im with Zolayes here, to demand to wages on par with the highest earners after the two season's he had was just taking the piss,i still maintain his performance against Cadiff was the worst ive ever seen by a Chelsea player and i could never forget those comments. We made him the player he was and he shitted on us.
  7. It's amazing how good his english is after so short time. Back to him being reckless it fucking annoys me when people use that as a excuse to say he cannot defend when Vidic does what Luiz does but 10 times worse, if ref's had balls Vidic would get sent off 90% of the time he steps on the field. Also Vidic has made some key cock ups in big games before, letting Eto's and Toure past him so easy in the CL final and FA Cup semi prime examples, while Luiz can be a bit reckless sometimes atleast he has class about him, Vidic version of defending is kicking players into thin air, handball's that Suarez would be proud off and tugging shirts back of any player with skill or pace. It annoys me that Luiz get's labelled a accident waiting to happen but Vidic is 10 times more clumsy than Luiz yet gets branded the best defender in the world for it, its a joke. I dont think i have ever seen a defender or even a player as horrendusly over-rated as Vidic in my life. rant over but had to be said.
  8. Speaking of Davd Luiz its pathetic the amount of stick he gets for rash challenges, yes he makes a few but Vidic makes more rash challenges but gets widely regarded as the best defender in the league its pathetic.
  9. Tricky game ended with a routine win, can't ask for much more tbh.
  10. Agree to most extent but i don't think it should be the case with all managers. Say you buy a club that has Rafa in charge, given his ratio of one excellent signing to 10 shit one's im not sure i would be happy to say here you are Rafa £100m buy who you like.
  11. Im seriously worried about Ballack, he will be up for this and you only need to look at the end of 07/08 to see what how good he is when he is up for it.
  12. Hopefully we won't have this talk in the manager's side for a long time with Andre as coach now but depite the fact i will always be thankful for what they did during their time at the club i hope these two never return in any capacity. Why? well they both have left fantastic legacy's in the club which if they ever return it does not have the desired affect it will be ruined, if Andre stays for over a decade which if given time i think he could Hiddink will be retired by the time he leaves but Jose will still be around knocking on the door i think we should slam it shut. You only need to look no further than Ancelotti, has he left after the double season he will foerever be remembered in Kings Road as the guy who won us the Double in swash buckling style and nothing else, now he seems to get more remembered as the guy who was stubborn, would not drop the big names and produced dire performances in 10/11. I know the timing off this thread is a bit off but i was wondering your views, i personally believe Jose and Guus have left such impressive legacy's that it would be a shame and to be quite frank pretty gutting if they return in whatever capacity and don't do as well which will taint the legacy thet created. In my view we should never put that on the line ever. thoughts?
  13. If Mourinho pulls off La Liga and CL with Real Madrid i can see him leaving, he would have won everything possible their and PSG could quite easily be his next port of call. As TX said he will have unlimited funds to mould the team his way, they will be clear fav's for the title each year and he will be able to add yet another domestic league honour to his CV.
  14. Have to agree, he is a good user who is not afraid to voice his opinion, does occasionaly go over the top but he is hardly the only user that has done that in the past, all in all TC would be a poorer place without him.
  15. Justin no-one has asked you to go, your a good user not afraid to say your opinion and i like your passion but sometimes you take it a bit far (ie calling that lad retarded when you don't even know him personally). Its normal to have disagreement, i can name them members ive never had strong debate's with on with forum on my left hand, thats fine just restrain from going personal because football and personal life are 2 different things
  16. Its very unlikely United will batter us, even last season we went into the decider at Old Trafford were bad but still made them sweat till the end, infact apart from one 3-0 a piece and a 3-1 Chelea win and 2-0 United win the Chelsea V United matches since Roman brought the club have been draws or one goal wins either way.
  17. While we have struggling to convince the bookies we have a chance of challenging the two Manchester clubs i strongly believe they are seriously under-estimating AVB, during the summer when it looked a toss up between Van Basten and Redknapp for the Chelsea job i was resigned to a year or two in the back seat but part of my optimism this season has been due to the man we now have in control of the dugout. I don't think many actually realise just how talented the guy is. On paper Manchester United and defiently Manchester City look stronger but we only have to look at AVB's last job's a living proof that the game is not played on paper. Fergie and Manchester United last season more living proof of this. Looking back on Andre's last two job's starting with Academica, when he took over they were bottom winless and looking frightenly like Portugal's version of Derby County 07/08, on paper they were the worst side in that league but Andre still managed to take them from a posible record low points relegation to mid table safety in just over half a season, on paper they never stood a chance but Andre has over ideas. He massively overachieved given the resourced avalible to him. Then in the summer 2010 he took the job at Porto, they lost Meireles and despite losing a couple of key players themself defending champions Benfica still looked a stronger outfit. On paper Porto were going to find it tough to win the league but again Andre had other ideas, winning the league in itself was not overachieving in Porto but to go unbeaten something only Benfica have done before and to break numerous records in the process including record points shows just how great he did and just how much he overachived. It may only be the Portuguese league but if those record's were so easy to break then why did it take over 100 years to break them? While the Manchester clubs look stronger on paper, if Andre overachives with us to the same or even close to the same extent he did at Porto and Academica it will take something special from the Manchester clubs to stop us winning the title, while the Manchester clubs are stronger on paper, so were Benfica when Andre took over Porto and so where every single club he leapfrogged in the table with Academica. Andre is a serious weapon for us and the more bookie and pundits underestimate him the more benefitory it will be for us. Im not saying we will defeintly win the league but all i am saying is under estimate Andre Villas Boas at your peril, if you predicted what he would do at Academica and Porto when he first walked into the job you would have got laughed at, whats to say he cannot defy the thinkable again ?
  18. Andre will be focusin on every aspect of United's game after Levekusen, given Bosingwa's shit record against top teams he cannot start, despite his good attacking form so far his defending still scares the living shit out of me and Young will rip him apart, i would feel more safer starting Ferreira. I can see Andre making one shock selection to the team.
  19. We had to overcome a Arsenal team that had Pires, Vieira and Henry all that their peak (argubally they are the best 3 prem players ever in their position) im sorry but if we can finish above them we can finish above anyone. Also remember 2008 when United came to SB, we started like a steamtrain under Big Phil and United were stuttering, i remember pundits predicting comftable 3-0 win infact i was never so confident in beating United then i was that day and what happened? We drew 1-1 and were lucky to get that. Surely pundits and co expecting us to get thrashed is a good thing right?
  20. I can see Ryan getting more game time as the season goes on. Although if im being honest i don't think his exclusion for the CL is that bad, if Cole is out for the Valencia match and we have qualification at stake (which looking at our group won't suprise me) and Ryan makes a error that knockes us out that could and probally will finish him. I'd say for this season Carling Cup all games, some FA Cup games and 5-10 premierleague games and loet him buold on that next season. Although i think Aziz Deen Conteh could eclipse him in the next few years.
  21. bit of a over-reaction,heard of football banter?
  22. Have to disagree with MOTM, i thought Malouda passing back to Cole and shooting from every angle was very unique, unpredictable and a joy to behold In all seriousness good performance at a ground where United, Arsenal and City all dropped points in there most recent visit, good to see a bit of Romeu aswell.
