  1. Birmingham, Fulham and Stoke fans must be absolutely devestated
  2. Congrats. I remember how active it was after the last marketing campaign (IE debates on here, press releases, lots of bets done) would be good to get that again considering we have lost numerous good poster's since then.
  3. From looking at Suarez he reminds me like Gudjohnsen in his Chelsea hayday, good techinically with his feet, good skills and a low sense of gravity but for a forward don't score that often (both have like a 1 in 4ratio). Thats on the pitch off it Suarez could only dream for a ounce of Eidur's class.
  4. Not one to defend Arsenal but the way Wenger and Villas Boas have been getting villified this season time after time you would think they were mass serial killers. Yet despite all the problems both managers have had to overcome both have guided their team's above Liverpool who are managed by Kenny "the Messiah" Dalglish who has spent nearly £100m in the summer yet cannot get his team above 2 teams who have had issue's throughout the season. Not being funny but if Wenger and AVB have been getting shitted on by the media all season shouldon't it be Kenny's turn now?
  5. ^ fair point but he was fantastic up to that point and played his part in defending against the United onslaught that came after Macheda's slamdunk and nearly scored aswell.
  6. There should be a seprate one for staff. It's a hard one to pic, carefreecronic gives us good tactical reports and blionheart who's doens't post as much as others but when they do are a joy to read. Then there is Zolayes, ultrablue, Lalayabelle, dojojo, Kieran vogel, Henrique, TX and more who are very consistent with their posting. Although the later 2 are not every one's cup of tea' s they do bring something different to the forum and can you honestly say it would be better without them? Tough one so im just going to say tommy10
  7. Fully agree with henrique, we can't do a Arsenal "this team will dominate in 40 zillion decades time". Im all for signing KDB, but he can't be highest proirity, not yet anyway.
  8. I hope this is a joke? What has Paulo done wrong? he trains hard, always makes himself avalible for selection and tries his best when called upon, he keeps to his side of the bargain it's not his fault he doesn't get picked. If we going to use this "benefit cheat" argument then surely the same could be said about the likes of Gary Neville how much did he get payed for not playing in his last few years for United? 2009/2010 do you remember his solid display at Old Trafford which helped us win the title? think he is entititled to celebrate considering the likes off Bruma, Matic and Van Aanholt were part of the celebrations when they played like 5 games (all sub apps) between them.
  9. If we can't get a creative midfielder outright maybe for 6 months we should consider a Kaka loan as a stopgap? or someone from Madrid as their hardly short in that area.
  10. 24 hours from now. Delighted Andre Villas Boas reveals Nicolas Anelka and Saloman Kalou have withdrawn their transfer request's and signed new 5 year deals worth 150k a week each.
  11. Maybe we should use him as bait to get Hazard in? tell Lillie that Kalou and Joe Cole had a great understanding.
  12. I take it Kalou is joining Alex and Anelka in "isolation". If any more join them were have no players left Why didn't we do this in the summer?
  13. White Hart Lane last season, when Bosingwa got injured and Ivan had to move to the centre, the world and his dog expected Bale to humilate him but Bale didn't get a sniff all game. Funnily enough that match was his first for a long time aswell. Old Trafford in THAT match that won us the league he was awesome throughout.
  14. Then we should play him defensive midfield I disagree, atleast Paulo has some good games against big teams, Bosingwa never has for us.
  15. He played in the carling cup against Fulham and the second half against Genk at home and i think he has made one sub app in the league but don't quote me on that.
  16. I would rather Paulo Ferreira start's instead of Bossy if it came down to it. If the last couple of years are anything to go by Paulo will either have a stormer and help win us the match (Old Trafford April 2010) or have a complete shocker (White Hart Lane April 2010, Emirates December 2010) but atleast we could have a great match from Paulo with Bossy we wont.
  17. We will have to re-call him then loan him back there again under different terms. If we let him carry on there next season they have a automatic option to buy, which if they decide to activate we are powerless.
  18. With David Luiz suspended and Alex almost certain to be left out who will we play in the back 4 against City? There is the obvious back line which is Bosingwa-----Ivanovic----Terry----Cole But that back line has never won us a big match and with that combo we are all over the place. Ivanovic is not as good in the centre than he is on the right where he is completely solid and enough has already been said about Bossy on the right hand side. Silva and Aguero will have a field day, so assuming Alex does not get considered we have to go with this. Ivanovic------???????----Terry----Cole But the question is who do we play in that vacant CB spot? as it will be a player out of position. Here's a few ideas. Paulo Ferreira - ONLY JOKING Ryan Bertrand - He has played there a few times before and he has the pace Terry doesn't and that could come in seriously handy against Aguero. It's a risk granted but i don't see how it's a bigger risk then playing that dreaded back four combo which has never won us a big match. That or put Ryan at LB and Ash in the centre. Oriol Romeu - He has got good defensive qualities and AVB said after the Fulham match that (after Alex's red card) Oriol moving down to centre back was a option. If that's the case we can move Oriol down to CB and place Mikel in defensive midfield. Nathaniel Chalaboh - This would be a huge call and a huge shock by AVB but remember (ironically against the same opponents) Dalglish doing the same last season bringing Flanagan in for his debut against City and it payed dividence, maybe AVB could do the same here? That are the option if Alex does not play. Although i don't see why we can't play Alex, he is still on our payroll and he will surely want to give himself a good send off and a goodbye to the fans, what better way to do it than play a blinder against City?
  19. Don't see why there is so big a fuss, Jenny Longball celebrated Liverpool's goals right infront of our dugout.
  20. Were they the celebrations that upset Pardew?
  21. They both lose the ball a lot. Both score tap in's. Only one of them seem to get pronounced "world class". United beat Arsenal 8-2 yet Hernandez went missing, which forward goes missing when the rest of his team are causing havoc? When we were winning 7/8-0 Kalou was always in on the act.
