  1. There's little point using that logic. If we played in Munich like we did in Anfield?
  2. I along with most of the forum disagree with Sloth/Kojo's opinion on Hazard, but is there any need to bring it up on every thread, especially randomenly. Its bad enough the silly argument is all over the Hazard thread. He initially voiced his opinion on Hazard days ago, time to move on.
  3. Reckless and loss of concentration was his problem early on, i don't think ive watched a game and thought this forward is giving Luiz a torrid time. Basically his biggest opponent was himself.
  4. Now we are worrying about having too much creativity What a difference from a year ago.
  5. The fact is he knew if he left Liverpool he would command a potential record breaking fee and there be pressure, just like every other forward of top caliber will if they leave their club.
  6. Will be ideal if we can get him for under £10m. Ive seen a couple of quotes of "it will block Todd Kane" well no it won't, if Kane is good enough he will come in eventually plus Ivan is 29 this season and you never know Azpi might want to move to Spain at some point, so we sell him for a big profit, use the money on another area off the pitch and Kane might be ready then. win win.
  7. @The Skipper, We only played the last month of 2005/2006 with 2 forwards, from the West Ham game in April until the end.
  8. Torres always knew if he left Liverpool he would command a huge fee.
  9. Shame, would have been a good squad player to have this term.
  10. When AVB said him and Jose don't speak, everyone assumed it was because Mourinho was not happy about him leaving his staff, ever occurred that it could have been AVB that caused that rift between them?
  11. They don't have to be either's back up, we do what we did in 05/06 with Drogba and Crespo, pick the player that's on form.
  12. Might not always be the case, we used the diamond at The Emirates in 2009/2010 and battered Arsenal silly.
  13. Im out on the piss for this one for a mates birthday, so relax, this one will be a comfortable Chelsea win because i ain't watching it live
  14. @, I have been thinking that too, i will be very surprised if the 4-2-3-1 formation stays till the end of the season.
  15. The justification for Cavani not coming in is that either him or Torres will have to rot on the bench. Not true, there is more than enough games to go round. Last season Torres played 49 games despite being 2nd choice to Didier for most of it and Didier himself played 35 despite the bad injury early on and his spell at the ACON. In 2005/2006 Drogba played 41 games while Crespo played 42. 2006/2007 Drogba played 60 games while Sheva played 51. The idea that Cavani's arrival will restict Nando to sub appearances once a month is wrong, both will at-least play 40-45 times each, at worse. Also have we thought that with both of them here, it will give RDM the opportunity to switch formation and play 2 up top, if the double pivot formation starts to get found out.
  16. Quality watch, stronly recommend watching this.
  17. Quality watch, strongly recommend watching this.
  18. Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs have provided us with great comedy these last few years, however bad it gets for us, one sometimes 2 of those 3 are always doing worse.
  19. The reason i wanted him to stay initially was for 2 reason's. I was worried the new manager would want to do another squad "assessment" and that he would learn from the mistakes he was making, so far neither have been the case. I guess Henrique was right after all. He does like talking about us however, does he think in his head that if he does well at Spurs Roman will come calling and give him another shot?
  20. Im glad for his own sake as much as anything he is gone and hope he does well at Lillie. The hate he got from a section of his own fans was shocking, i can understand the criticism of his abilities because he wasn't that good but their were some who couldn't even bring themself to praise him when he did have a good game. Im Bossy's biggest critic but when he had good games i acknowledged that and gave him credit for it.
  21. Exactly, if there is anything we learned from laughing at Arsenal these last 7 years it should have been that.
  22. They will both get more than enough playing time.
  23. I think the warmth of the group is excellent to see, and you know two different groups react differently. And we've [sic] that the spirit within this group has been fantastic - it's different from what I had in the last year. -Andre Villas-Boas, Tottenham Hotspur manager. http://www.weaintgotnohistory.com/2012/7/28/3197521/andre-villas-boas-quotes
  24. bless young Josh trying to tag along
