  1. I know im kicking myself, tommorow when im out getting pissed with a mate i haven't seen for years, i will be screwing that i didn't respond to you sharpish, tbh it might ruin my day
  2. Don't like what i post, then feel free to use the ignore button.
  3. It's called rotation and competition. This is Chelsea FC not Torres FC
  4. Thought we defended well today, very well.
  5. Have to rotate a bit. ----------------------------Cech----------------------- Ivan-----------Cahill------------Luiz----------Ryan ----------------Ramires--------Lampard------------ Hazard-------------------Oscar--------------????? ---------------------------Danny---------------------- Subs: Hilario, Cole, Terry, Meireles, Mikel, Mata, Torres. Mata needs a rest
  6. Malouda hasn't made the bench for this one or the Community Shield while Ryan has been picked out of position in Flo's position. Its safe to say now his days are numbered.
  7. The League is still Madrid's again. Have they faced eachother in the Spanish super cup yet?
  8. Considering this was a potential banana skin, i fail to see how anyone can be unhappy with a routine 2-0 win at the DW. Yes it may not have been the greatest performance, but isn't playing crap and winning suppose to be the sign of a great team?
  9. Terry never had any intention on going to City, he was using their interest as a bargaining chip in talks for a new contract.
  10. He wasn't bad compared to what he was like under AVB and Carlo but he wasn't brilliant, he has still done nothing to suggest he can fill the shoes of number 1 forward.
  11. @Justin_3d, Im not to worried about City getting away from us long term, for aslong as Mancini is still there.
  12. This game showed that making Torres undisputed number one might end up costing Robbie his job. We need to give him competition whether that is by Danny or a new forward. Danny should get a start against Reading.
  13. Yeah we can end up 3rd and i think we probably will, but i just can't see us finding the consistency to challenge those two this season, especially if we stick to Mikel and Lampard in the double pivot.
  14. Don't care about that result, we won't make up 25 points on City and United in one season. The teams we really needed to drop points this weekend, have!!!
  15. Exactly, the main priority this season is playing better, having a better balance and getting back into that top 4. The fact Sahin would only be here for a year and won't be able to play against Madrid should be the least of our worries.
  16. Why are we not even looking at Sahin?
  17. Can see City scoring anything between 6 and 9, do any Saints players have prem experience?
  18. Can i just say something that has been bugging me for a while. Every time we beat a "lesser side" we keep hearing "if that was a top side, we would have lost", it annoys me. United have many of those type of games, as do City, as do Barca in La Liga, the fact is we weren't playing Barca we were playing Wigan and we won 2-0.
  19. Yet another example of a mid table miracle man getting a big job and failing.
  20. Call me mad but i reckon Fulham could finish anywhere between 5th and 8th, even without Dempsey. Jol is a fantastic coach and Fulham are better than some teams that have finished in that area in recent season's (Jol's Tottenham 05-06 prime example). I actually genuinely expect them to finish above Liverpool.
  21. Real Madrid (the biggest club in world football) loaned Adebayor in when they needed a forward. To be honest i don't care how it makes us look, Sahin will sort out so many short term issue's, even if we don't get an option to buy, we can have this guy for a season, look at the deep lying midfield position next summer and find a more permanent solution.
  22. For those who might not be aware, a DVD solely dedicated to Chelsea's Champions League run has recently been released. It had 2 DVD's. The first one involves Highlight's of the run to and including Munich, the group stage just shows the goals but as it gets to the knockout rounds the highlights become more extensive. Post match reaction from Munich from Dider Drogba, Frank Lampard, Gary Cahill, Petr Cech, John Terry and of course Roberto Di Matteo. The victory parade in full. In depth interviews with Frank Lampard, Gary Cahill and Petr Cech a couple of months on when their in America. A tribute to the departing Didier Drogba. The Second DVD is extended highlights off the semi final second leg against Barcelona at The Nou Camp, including post match reaction. The best place to buy this DVD is probably in HMV, well worth it, the best £15 i have ever spent.
  23. Despite the competition and threat to his place, Rooney wanted RVP there and relishes the competition and now knows he has to up his game even more. Hopefully Torres will have the same attitude IF we sign Cavani.
