So did i, but my team just didn't take 1 of their 6 chances, so i only have myself to blame really.
-
That's true, QPR were never a prem club during his time at Stamford Bridge, i doubt any of our current crop who played on that sunday afternoon in October will touch will place, especially David Luiz.

Just rise above it or use the ignore button.

I like you myself, but you don't do yourself any favours by randomenly insulting other user's.

If he is the main man to getting Boro promoted and they want him for their Premiership campaign he would have a pretty solid platform to force his way in with us.
-
worried, there are 2 nutter's on the loose in my town that are trying to kidknapp kids, they have got thrawted in attempts to do so twice, got nicked but got released on bail

We can't go throwing away experience whoever it is, have we learned nothing from laughing at Arsenal these last 7 years?
-
A year late a loan like this but better late than never.

I would say there is more off an obsession with so called attacking full backs who have a little bit of pace. That is the only reason the likes of Alves, Bosingwa (before his injury), Johnson, Walker, Rafeal, Fabio and Van Aanholt are rated at all, let alone as high as they are. Take their pace away and the lot of those listed players are utter donkeys.

The thing is it is not just us out of the top club's that have failed miserably at promoting youth players in the past decade, were just the one's scapegoated for some reason. United only really brought though Fletcher through the whole of the 00's, Welbeck and Cleverly have broke through recently but that was after a full season on loan in the Premier League and they were both in their 20's when Fergie started playing them, so they had to be patient. Liverpool have brought no one through since Gerrard, apart from really Kelly. I don't count Spearing as he has only made minimal more appearances there than McEachran has for us and he's 4 years older than Josh. Teams that give youth a chance from a young age usually lose them by the time they get to 22, Rodwell the latest the long list of examples. Had City not got took over they would have lost Richards and Hart years ago.
-
Probably because of the wait they have had they just forgot. but if one goes inactive then we should advertise on the "xperteleven are you up for the challenge" thread and try and get a new member in immediately.
-
Now we have got the League back upto 32 teams, we must at the least keep it that way. So if a manager who has been inactive for a while get's sacked, we must replace them immediately.
-
Whether Josh makes it at Chelsea is down to him, to make it at a top club challenging for trophies you need two things, quality and patience, Ryan is the prime example. Now Josh is undoubted quality so he is half way there, whether he makes it here depends on whether he is patient enough to bide his time like Ryan did.

This is going to be a controversial opinion but for 1 or 2 years, then i think this will be a really good move. Now the title is imo out of reach this season, we finished 25 points behind the Top 2, something that will not be rectified in 12 months, our main aim is to get back in the Top 4. What was it that cost us our Champions League place (via the domestic route) last season? The stupid amount of points we dropped in the so called "lesser games". As he shown in 2010/2011, Berbatov is one of the best in the business when it comes to "sweeping up" against the weaker teams, yes he may not be that much of a big game player, but if we get say 50 points out of a available 60 out of the bottom half teams, we will only need 20/60 against the top half teams to all but secure our Champions League place the following season. Berbatov around would sure mean we drop less points at places like Carrow Road this time out.

He will be the best manager ever by the time he retires, there really is no body like him, the confidence he bring's to team's, the assurance he gave our fans. If the worse happens and RDM gets sacked, then Jose has to return. Im usually against second coming's and have been against a Jose 2nd coming for a long time, but the more i think about it, the more i would want it if Roman pulled the plug on RDM.
-
Spurs? a team that are currently in close competition with us If we are stupid enough to let him go, then let him go to a club that haven't got a chance of finishing above us, like Liverpool.
-
All about timing, they can't have too little games or especially to many games, they need to keep their form up aswell so form training comes into it, my young keeper only played twice in his first season at the club but still jumped a skill bar. Having said that it's easier when your in the lower league's, i gave up some title's when i was in League's one and two and focused on building a team to eventually challenge X-Rated and Super Villians in the premier league and so far its payed off.
-
That true, but their are cheap option in the market for 4 skill bar 17 year olds, i got a player in that bracket for just over 500 000 econ a few seasons back, now he is worth over 8m and was 8 skilled by the time he was 20. If he signs 2-3 of those type now, he will be laughing in a few season's time.
-
Your transition period is going to be a long one, if you want my advice this summer sign 3 or 4 good young players and play them between 7-9 times, and when i mean good better than the one's you have signed, 3-4 bars at 19 and 20 is never going to be good enough.
-
Was happy he went for his own sake, there were a lot fans that didn't rate him, which is far enough he wasn't that great but what really did annoy me is they couldn't even praise him when he has a good game and still were in his player profile talking shit. While were on the subject is the old Kalou thread still around? i wanna see what the reaction was when he scored a hat trick against Stoke.
-
UpTheChels currently have an inactive manager so unless Clevemear returns they are probably fucked, the other team to go down is anyone's guess, could literally be any of the remaining 7 teams, that's how competitive it is in the Prem,
-
Anyone got any predictions for this season?
-
I can still never forget the roar of disappointment around me in the Matthew Harding Lower when fans found out Lampard scored the goal against Sunderland and not Torres off the bar. The most cringe worthy moment of my life (life not just footballing life) and its beat's some stiff competition.
-
When we won 6-0 there 2 season's back, we only had 7 shots, and the one that didn't go in the goal got put in on the rebound. So we could say we were poor that day too.
-
There is a huge difference between hate and not trying to glorify every little thing he does. Why does everything said about Torres that isn't a full blown compliment get translated as hate? it's not. Do i critisize Torres? yes, his performances for Chelsea have not been good enough for a player who overall cost £100m, (contract and transfer). I also can't stand the myth doing the rounds that we supposedly owe him. The excuses made up for him annoy me when you consider Malouda, Kalou, Danny and even Didier have got bashed (in Danny's case still is) for much less. Do i hate Torres and take happiness in seeing him suffer? no, far from it, i would love it if he turns his Chelsea career around.
