What i mean is Pep and Jose next summer will be available for us, where as if we had to battle City and United then getting them will be a lot harder. But as far as the title goes i think your safe, i can't see City winning it this season, United just seem to have this determination and hunger to get it back, the amount of points they have recovered from losing position's proof of that.
-
@The only place to be, Its a chance to call our self's world champions, something Liverpool have never managed to do.
-
While i understand where your coming from it could be looked at another way. United win the league (with the CL possibly added with it) Fergie could retire on a high, Mancini sacked, where will Jose and Pep go? If City win it Mancini stays, Fergie will stay until he has knocked them off their perch, meaning both will be available.
-
He was great but up against a atriotious side. He needs more than this before i proclaim him back, even Kalou had these type of games every now and again.
-
Did the fans think Torres scored this one too then moaned like the goal was chalked off when they realized it was Mata?
-
Infact has any one noticed that our players use to look for Torres but eventually realized their was just no point? I mean his debut against Liverpool then Fulham the players were looking for him, Drogba and David Luiz played him through and he fucked it up, even Malouda was looking for him, eventually they realized their was just no point. The same with Mata his first few games, his debut against Norwich then the Levekusen match especially he spent trying to "service" Torres but came to the conclusion it was just a waste of time, Hazard and Oscar the same this term. Service works both ways and to say Torres does not do his bit is the biggest understatement of the decade. Don't tell me @Backstreet09, they should keep passing to a statue, as far as im concerned when players pass to Nando it should go down as a pass to the opponent on their stats.
-
For almost a year he got defended to the hilt and any time he had a bad game the blame that he deserved was shifted elsewhere, he got time by fans no one else would have got. The fact you are still blaming service on his short comings loses me for words, he has 3 of the best number 10's behind him and is still shit, he has the 2 greatest midfielders of the latest generation behind him for Spain and is still shit. Stop hoping he will be back, he won't he is fucking shit, 2008 yes he was the best forward in the world now he is just an Akinfenwa without strength and if you dont know who he is he's a league two forward who usually warms the Northampton bench. Accept it he is finished.

Its got the point i feel guilty for voting knowing im overlooking 4 great members.
-
@Kojo, I remember when he was assistant when we lost 2-1 to LFC at home, when Johnson scored the winner he punched the air i think or done something ridiciolously fan like.
-
Its obvious what will happen. We will get 7-8 goals this and next month convincing the board he doesn't need to be replaced following by a abysmal Feb and March, improve slightly in April then score a couple in May with the same system following in the summer. This will never end.
-
Torres will be just as shite is the Championship, it's a league that is full of workhorses, to get Torres scoring consistently we will need to drop all the way down to league two.
-
To make it worse Drogba wasn't actually bad in his first two season's, apart from his two super human season's later on they were actually his best season's for us.
-
Im have never called victory for Chelsea before kick off, but under Jose their were times i was 99% sure, the aura of confidence and assurance he brings is unrivaled.
-
I don't believe we have any position's currently where we have the best player in the world in, apart from in goal. Yes i do believe Cech is that good, no keeper could have resisted the way he did in Munich, barrage after barrage of shots were heading towards his goal but he kept keeping them out, he was the difference between Drogba winning the final and Drogba tossing away yet another CL final, something the Ivorian acknowledged himself on that sky sports programme in Didier's words Petr "saved his night".
-
The sad thing is he will probably have a respectable December lulling us into another false sense of security. Only we can go from not enough creativity and too many strikers to the complete opposite in 12 months
-
You can't blame Rafa on that one, Jose fucked up long unbeaten records against Fulham, Spurs and City that spanned over a decade.

The vilest footballer in Britain West Brom's £20k-a-week Liam Ridgewell in sick pose Sickening ... highly-paid Premier League star using cash as toilet roll ExclusiveBy RYAN PARRYPublished: 02nd December 2012 491 IT’S a photo that will enrage hard-working football fans across Britain.West Brom defender Liam Ridgewell, 28, squats over a toilet and wipes his backside with a wad of £20 notes.Scattered on the floor in front of him are dozens more £20 notes, totalling almost £1,000.The Premier League star, who earns at least £20,000 a week, is apparently using the cash instead of toilet roll.He claims the sick stunt was simply a “joke” to wind up a friend — but it will infuriate more than just his pal.Ridgewell’s weekly wage is equivalent to the average annual salary in the West Midlands — one of the most deprived areas in the country. The disgraceful snap — taken in the bathroom of Ridgewell’s £1.5million home in Barnt Green, Birmingham — was sent to The Sun by a West Brom fan who asked not to be named. Apology ... Baggies defender Liam Ridgewell He said: “The people of West Bromwich earn a fraction of what this idiot earns yet he makes a mockery of his good fortune like this. It makes me sick.“We’ve always thought footballers were arrogant, overpaid buffoons and this just proves it.”Ridgewell, an unused sub in his side’s 1-0 defeat to Stoke yesterday, apologised last night. He said: “The photo was taken in the privacy of my home around eight months ago as a joke to wind up a mate, who I had just won a personal bet with.“I only intended him to see the photo but now it’s public, I can understand how it will be viewed. I am sorry for any offence it causes.”A spokesman for West Brom, currently fifth in the Premier League, said: “This is a private issue for Liam that has become public.“It does not put the club in a good light and we will deal with the matter internally.“Since Liam joined us 11 months ago, his conduct on club duty has been exemplary.” Insulted ... West Brom fans at the Stoke game West Brom fans at yesterday’s home game at The Hawthorns were shown the picture — and most reacted with disbelief.Carpet fitter Ryan Walker, 24, said: “It’s insensitive to fans who have to scrape money together just to see him play.“You wouldn’t catch me doing that with a £20 note.”Painter Robert Jones, 38, said: “Even though he did it for a bet he should give a bit more thought to what kids who see it might think.“It’s not doing much for the image of footballers.“I’d be interested to hear what the Queen has to say about it too. He’d have been hung for that 100 years ago.”But engineer Warren May, 44, said: “It’s up to him what he does — he’s just having a laugh.”Ridgewell split from fiancee Kirsty Maclaren last year — eight days before their wedding.Read more: http://www.thesun.co...l#ixzz2DyDzTRHe

On another forum there were Torres fanboys as good as protesting against Cavani's potential arrival in the summer. How embarrassing I don't think there is a possible downside to his signing.
-
If i was offered Cavani and Bent for forwards this window i would snap the person's hand off.
-
Peace, Rmpr and Henrique were not too far behind in my thought process, outstanding month for all three.
-
Imagine news filtering in the stadium that 70th Minute Shakhtar are winning 2-1 and we are still 0-0, crowd will go absolulety bonkers

Im not one of the Benitez haters but while this is going on (fans hating him) this team is going nowhere. This is the most audacious in the history of football but the Russian League is on a winter break between 13th December and 10th March, would Hiddink be allowed to be interim for that period? risky but if he can as good as secure a top 3 finish by then we could just stick Steve Holland in for the remainder of the season after that then sort this mess out good and proper in the summer. Im not a Rafa hater, but for aslong as 90% of the fans are, the club will suffer and at the end of the day i want what is best for the club.
-
Appointing Avram Grant would just be a more complicated way of saying Steve Holland is incharge until the end of the season.

I actually thought Sunderland were better under Bruce, i remember in 09/10 we were the only club to win at the Stadium of Light for over half a year. To think not long ago they had Bent and Gyan, the latter has been their biggest loss. He is living off the start he had. On another note i wonder how long before Brendan comes under serious pressure at Liverpool, as AVB found out with us you can only hide behind future plans for so long.
