Because they were pretty much toyed with, no matter what the gulf in class, i personally would hate to be made look like a bitch infront of millions, i genuinely would rather not play atall. It's not all their fault tho, teams like this should not be in tournaments like this in the first place, something needs to be done because tbh it's not fair on them as much as anyone else, and as a neutral it's quite frankly painful.

Good, just what i like to hear. There's nothing i use to hate more than when we went to places like the Highbury Libary, lost 2-1 and get the "unlucky Chelsea good game". I love bitters making excuses for every win we have, goal we scored, trophy we win, makes everything even sweeter.

Am i the only one embarrassed by the Tahiti loving in the stadium? Ok there shit, but there's nothing worth celebrating about losing 10-0, no matter the gulf in class. I lost a game 12-0 when i was a kid, we were against one of the best sides for my age group in my county, everyone else in my team were taking positives like it could have been more, we went 10 minutes without conceding and i was like that's not the mentality to have, we have just got thrashed 12-0, gulf in class in irrelevant, we shouldn't celebrate or take positives out of it. If San Marino celebrated losing 5-0 at Wembley we would have been like, what are you doing? Bit controversial but if i was a Tahiti player i wouldn't be milking anything, at the end of the day they have just been embarrassed with the world watching.

OMG HE'S BACK I KNEW HE NEEDED MORE SERVICE THAT WAS ALL!!!!

Nicaragua too and yep, been back for over 2 months now.

If Cavani doesn't score against Tahiti, this forum is going to crash.

Can't see Hull being a big score, this Hull side won't get battered often, they just won't win many. Hull won't create many more than 1 or 2 chances, unless we are having a serious off day at the back. It shouldn't be as tough as the last time we started against Hull.

No other club was shrewd enough to sign KDB and Courtois for penuts and see their price doubled or even possibly trebled. Emenalo was.

Hilario would have been 1/5 on if he was still here.

I agree with your whole post apart from this bit. I remember in 04/05 near the end Gallas was moaning to the media about playing left back, saying something along the lines off and i quote "i will play left back for the rest of the season but after the season end i want to be a permanent cb". Ill try and find the article. I think playing left back played a part in him eventually leaving, he played decent at left back, but he wasn't happy about it i know that much.

Ramires is in the clouds with the arrival of Jose Mourinho at Chelsea. If the enthusiasm of the Brazilian midfielder was already great, was greater with the Portuguese coach's praise in a recent telephone conversation. «I'm a huge expectation to get to work with Mourinho. He called me one of these days, I was even surprised. We talked a lot and he told me nice things, including who requested my contract when he was at Inter and Real Madrid. He told me he was happy to have me at Chelsea, "said the former Benfica player, in statements to Globoesporte . In conversation he had with former Benfica player, Mourinho realized the desire to return to London by the team win titles. "I was very glad to hear it and told him he can count on me, I'll do everything in my power to help you be victorious in this new pass him by the club. He was a good expectation and knowing that his willingness to work with me, made me even more motivated. I have a feeling that will be a very good season for us, "confided. http://www.abola.pt/nnh/ver.aspx?id=409790

That might be what he said publicly, but no way is he thinking that privately

Was hoping for a hard run in, we always respond to those. There's nothing i like more than hearing how our rivals have an easy run in and will blow us away only for us to win our games while they mess up their "easy" one's (Title race 2010, CL race 2013).

Where do we get £63m from? im pretty sure his release clause is £53m?
-
If he can play deep, sign him up.
-
Won't be true because it has Arsenal and Tottenham both away on week one, one of them have to be at home.

Torres should not frighten us from making a bid for this guy, Torres looking back at it was so obvious, the world cup he looked lost and the 6 months prior to his arrival he had one good game which was against Chelsea. There's nothing to suggest Cavani is on the wane any time soon. 2003 we got our fingers burned signing Mutu (£16m in 2003 was massive money) but did that stop us signing Didier Drogba for £24m a year later? now £24m back then is equal to as much if not more than what we will have to pay for Cavani. To quote how much £24m was back then was what a friend who was a United fan said to me in 2007 (and that was 3 years after Drogba arrival) when Ronaldo was getting linked to a £35m move to Madrid "we should sell him, imagine how many players we can sign with £35m", would that be said today? no chance. Cavani would be no bigger risk than Drogba was considering the change in the market. When Real Madrid took the £80m punt on Ronaldo, he only had one "£80m" season at United which was 2007/2008, he had two great season's inbetween but if it wasn't for 07/08 i doubt Madrid would have splashed out. Bayern Munich splashed out what roughly £40m on Javi Martinez (a defensive midfielder). Bayern fans were skeptical, thinking they wasted the money and what did they get? a player who has changed the face of their team. We have changed our transfer model in recent times and that will stay regardless, this would be an exception, every top team has a marquee signing or two very half a decade, statements of intent like that are needed every now and again and this would be a serious statement of intent. We will not survive this season with Lukaku, Ba and Torres, have we learned from last season? Torres is shit, Ba is a good squad player and Lukaku has a great future but he just isn't ready to lead the line for a team looking to win every trophy they enter. Lukaku will get his fair share of games, think of the cup and group stage games, midweek prem games, Cavani getting injured and Jose throwing two forwards on when games aren't going our way. Cavani has scored 104 goals in 138 games in Naples, and he has just finished his best season yet (38 goals in 43 games). If we don't sign him there is a high chance City will and we will regret it for every single second he is at Eastlands, believe me. A world class forward (Cavani), an upcoming forward (Lukaku) and a reliable squad forward (Ba) is the ideal mix to deliver for us next season. Make no mistake, this will be a huge statement of intent even more so than United signing RVP last season was. Ofcourse their is an element of risk to a big money transfer but it's very minimal with this one and you know what they say, no risk, no reward.

Your being kind, im thinking stands.
-
Really? for some weird reason their still seems to be a fair few.
-
So that would mean putting net spend into account De Rossi would effectively be a free transfer. Fuck sake im starting to sound like a Liverpool fan :banghead:
-
Not great if Anderson is anything to go by.
-
We have had 2 years of transitioning players now, even with integrating those two, we should be challenging next season.
-
I hope we have a tough run in to the season like last and in 2010. There's nothing that gets Chelsea in the grove like tough games at the business end, and more often that not we win the lot.
