  1. I hope United stick by Moyes even when he struggles, "look were sticking by a struggling manager, look how well our club is run". Am i the only one who can see another (although less extreme) version of Woy with Liverpool here?
  2. Could you imagine Jose doing something completely unexpected like unleashing Kakuta into a star? You can never say never with Jose.
  3. Some people are so uneducated when it comes to Mourinho it's actually frightening. Its bad enough getting this from opposition fans. Mourinho knows how to win games, to win trophies, that should never be mixed up with playing boring football. In the 04/05 season especially we played fantastic, attacking football just because we could defend, don't mix that with playing boring football. Mou likes to relax a bit when were 3-0 up in matches instead of going for 7 or 8 (ala Carlo) but again that should not be mistaken for boring football, as it preserves energy for the next games. I rather win two matches 2-0 then one 8-0 and draw the other 0-0 because were shattered. People who think Mourinho would reverted to Essien and Lampard in the pivot are again outrageously paranoid. There is one thing saying he's defensive minded, it's a complete other thing saying he will surrender the midfield battle, absolutely no way and for my money that will be the main area he tries to sort out this summer. Mourinho is not a Liverpool fan, he won't surrender title's because he is in love with 2005. Mourinho will get the balance right in this squad (something we have been crying out for all season, no?)
  4. Both of them should be scrapped anyway. After a gruelling season i don't know what was in the minds of the board to add another 2 games to our schedule. With the weirdness of this season, i do genuinely think we will end up in a play off against Arsenal. Its just so obvious if you think about it.
  5. I wouldn't be too sure, since the PL have allowed 3 teams straight in the GS the whole complexion of the CL play offs have changed, their is every chance we could get a team in the calibre of the Udinese team Arsenal faced in 2011, which won't be easy at all. If Chelsea and Arsenal end up in the play off for who gets automatic CL qualification, i fail to see how it cannot be played on the Charity Shield weekend next season as neither team will be in that one.
  6. If he stays Jose will do the Kaka treatment with him, if he wants regular football he has no choice but to look elsewhere.
  7. The thing with Cahill is he is always the most over rated or most under rated in the squad depending on his last game, didierforever's comment proof of that. Plays bad he is useless, plays good he is the new JT. He was fantastic tonight and that goal line clearance was a good as a goal, valuable squad player.
  8. First half he was terrible but second he really pulled it out of the bag and his goal was really well taken. Now he can leave us on a high.
  9. Thankfuck for that. I was getting seriously worried for one moment that Rafa was going to risk playing him. We can't take chances on hamstring injuries.
  10. @, Do your really think Mourinho is going to throw away medals because he has a touch of nostalgia? You saw what he did to Carvalho at Real Madrid. Just because Jose teams don't get beat up by hoof ball sides, doesn't mean their boring. The first thing he will do is try and get the balance in the team, which has been lacking this season. He will try and sign some defensive minded players this summer properly, not because he is a ultra defensive coach it's because we already have two world class am's and another well on the way to becoming one. He might try and sign a winger to balance the three in behind the forward aswell.
  11. Mourinho vs Everton P8 W5 D3 L0 F15 A6 1 of those draws came in a league match at Goodison where we had a Drogba goal at the end wrongly ruled out for offside. Another one came in the FA Cup at Goodison where we went on to win the replay anyway. Another one was a dead end off of season rubber at Stamford Bridge.
  12. True, Martin Samuel made a article the other day completely slating Pellegrini while praising Moyes to the hilt, made me cringe. He also said how Curbishley and Big Sam is proof that English managers don't get fair cracks at top jobs, but conviently missed out not only the pigs ear Sam made at NUFC but also the fact Roy got a big chance at Liverpool and nearly relegated them.
  13. Mk Dons did better against QPR than us, your point?
  14. Moyes to Manchester United is done. Pellegrini looks set to go to City while Mourinho set to come to us. We get a serial winner while the two clubs we are looking to gazump appoint two managers who lets be honest are small fry compared to the special one. We get Waitrose while those two get Somerfield and Asda. If this comes off than we will be in a hugely great position to win the league next season and for years to come after that, the only thing that can threaten that is Ronaldo returning to United. What a fantastic summer this is looking like being even already.
  15. We should try and sign those twins. Would be better than Marin Out of our team Boga and RLC look the one's with the best chance of breaking through. Feruz needs to sort himself out asap.
  16. Its our own fault, we should have been out of sight by half time at Carrow Road.
  17. An average player scored 14 goals in 13 games last season after joining Newcastle. No im not saying Danny is average, just making a point. If he carries on this form next season then yes we can say we fucked up but i will save judgement.
  18. Liverpool favs for the league next season? They will at the very best sneak a top 4 finish.
  19. We should have won 5-0 at Carrow Road, only have ourself's to blame.
  20. Moyes and Pellegrini to United and City respectively while Mourinho comes to us. This all comes off we would have already seized an initiative in the title race before a ball is even kicked.
  21. That Leicester player deserved that, oscar winning dive. Karma!!!
  22. Cant wait until next season when Jose (if he joins) makes a change we could "all see" and turns the game around. Double standards will be funny to watch.
  23. I have been thinking of the past few days for reason's to hate Rafa, i had a long hard think and came up with NOTHING The thing is that (unlike the Scousers and Rupert) i don't think he is a great manager, but i do think he is a very decent man. In the face of hate and adversity from some Chelsea fans, he has acted with absolute class and dignity during his time at our club. He has been totally professional, despite the fact that he is only here till the end of the season. He has also not shirked from treating the senior players on merit and has seemed to do so without causing a dressing room rift. He hasn't done amazing at Chelsea, but that is more down to Rafa the manager, not Rafa the man. For the people throwing their toys out of the pram about his previous comments, i assume you will be treating Rooney equally similar then if he joins us? (as he stuck v sign's to our supporters in that 2011 title decider at Old Trafford).
  24. Blinded by hate, if it was Ancelotti or Hiddink in at the same time with the same pattern of results they wouldn't even mention half the "facts" they do.
