  1. Ba has been better than Torres, that shouldn't even be debatable. Torres hasn't scored in the league since Ba's arrival. Torres scores in the Europa League where surprise, surprise he has no competition for his place.
  2. Because most of them are shit.
  3. Because he is finished, we had the same shit with Fernando. Whenever i have watched United this season he has been average and often out of his depth. Bar that fluke free kick he did next to nothing against us and he looks quite frankly burnt out. 2010 and 2004 i would have loved this transfer to happen but not now, Lewandowski please.
  4. @The Mak, We should forget about Lewa, Neymar and stick to players who are proven in the PL. We missed a trick not signing Henderson and Downing, word is Kevin Nolan is on the market for £25m.
  5. QPR defender Tal Ben Haim has joined Major League Soccer team Toronto FC on loan until the end of June. The Israel international, 31, was signed by Rangers boss Harry Redknapp in the January transfer window, and made just six appearances for the club. "He's exactly the sort of veteran defender we need," said Toronto FC president Kevin Payne. The Canadian club are managed by former QPR defender Ryan Nelsen, who played his last game for the Hoops in January. Payne described Ben Haim, who has also played for Bolton, Chelsea, Manchester City, Portsmouth, Sunderland and West Ham, as "one of the top defenders in the Premier League for nearly a decade". He added: "He captains his national team and Ryan thinks the world of him." New Zealander Nelsen also signed QPR winger Hogan Ephraim on loan in February, but a deal to sign ex-Bolton striker Kevin Davies fell through in April. QPR were relegated from the Premier League along with Readingon 28 April.
  6. That was exactly what was said about Torres when we were after him, hes bored, he needs a new challenge bla bla bla.
  7. Its easy to say that, would we have won away to Everton, United, smased Villa ?
  8. Didn't he stick v sign's at our fans in the Old Trafford title decider in 2011 at half time? If he does come it would be interesting if he gets the Rafa treatment
  9. I wonder how the constant Mourinho stories would have gone down if Di Matteo was still in charge? Would we be looking forward to it and getting exicted about Jose's potential return or claiming it's not fair on RDM and we should stick with him?
  10. If we beat Villa then Arsenal fail to beat Wigan (meaning 3rd is ours before the last day) i think he should leave before Everton. The post season lap of honour with Rafa in it will be very awkward to say the least, and he doesn't deserve that sort of humiliation.
  11. I hope so, it makes me laugh that other clubs seem to have a stability obsession because of us. City religiously sticking to Mancini even tho there's managers around that could take them to the next level, Newcastle giving Pardew and 8 year contract and now United sticking to Moyes no matter what potentially. All Hail Roman. Most owners and even most of our fans would have probably never let go Ranieri, meaning all our title's at Old Trafford. There's one thing being sentimental, romantic and nostalgic about your club, but its another when it gets in the way of whats best for the club going forward.
  12. Actually they were in good form when we met them in December, they were off the back of thrashing Liverpool then Norwich in their own back yards. It was after our match they went into free fall. Im not saying we will win 8-0 again tho as we clearly won't.
  13. What is it with us signing players when their finished? The last time he kicked up a fuss about wanting to leave United i actually wanted him here, not this time. He has been very, very average all season and its obvious to every one he peaked too soon and is in slow decline. At times this season (Real Madrid away) he has been absolutely out of his depth. Lets learn from the Torres situation here and bring in an actual world class forward.
  14. Am i the only one who thinks Fellani is massively over rated? i hope he goes United.
  15. True, but the point got me thinking also, when was the last time a manager truly punched above their weight if you compare spend to league position? Probably the much maligned Big Sam with Bolton. I wonder if he would be in the running for the United job if he stayed at Bolton to this day.
  16. United fans are underwhelmed and one made a interesting point, has Moyes actually punched above his weight at Everton? They are usually the 7th or 8th biggest spenders every season, and guess where they usually finish in the league?
  17. What hasn't been mentioned in the Keen article is it says Jose wants to bring Matic back. Fantastic news if true.
  18. Kean speaks Portuguese so im guessing that is where the link has come from. He probably wont be bad as assistant manager, bad PL managers (Sammy Lee, Tony Adams, Les Reid, Terry Conor, Chris Hutchins) were actually good number 2s.
  19. To think we let go Kalou, froze out Malouda for this guy Those 2 are frustrating players yes, but they would offer something in the squad and from the bench, especially the Ivorian and they would be fit and healthy most weeks. A dozen lucky tap ins off the bench doesn't sound too bad a proposition right now, does it?
  20. United have absolutely nothing to play for. They won't go in to hard to risk injury, we will win the 50-50's, the second balls and should dictate the tempo of this game. Take our chances, we win, simple as that really. United don't play that good when the pressure is off, they lost all their games after winning the 2001 title and lost to West Ham in 2007.
