  1. I would think so, Jose gave playing time to Huth when we had the 3 best centre back's in the league if not Europe. Considering those two are on a different planet to Huth logic dictates they (or atleast one of them) will get games sooner or later.
  2. Although he was poor i do find it funny how his losing the ball for Stoke's goal gets picked out, when Torres lost the ball for Tottenham's goal at WHL at got punished with 117 votes for MOTM.
  3. I have a mental image of Thiago Silva reading some of the stuff wrote in this thread and laughing his face off. On a serious note, i have said it for years, Luiz may be prone to the odd rush of blood (so was Carvalho, but he had a JT in his prime and the best defensive mid off all time to cover and make sure when he did, it wasn't costly, Luiz doesn't have the same luxury) but what he brings to the table by far outweighs any risk. For one stupid error he makes, Cahill will make about 15 were he fucks up with the offside trap or is spun/tricked by an opposition player. I think we need to look at a long term partner for him, Terry has played well this season, but he has just turned 33, he will hit father time at some point, and we need to prepare for that eventuality, not wait for it to happen.
  4. Play him against Steua, then against Sunderland and build from there.
  5. What? he didn't make Messi his bitch at-all, Messi and Fabregas skinned him alive that night. His performance was overhyped because fans had this romantic notion of the lad from Bolton beating Barcelona. In reality, he was out of his depth and the main reason Barca created so many chances. He is nothing more than a squad player, and he needs to stop playing regularly, i think it's time we start bleeding in Kalas a bit more when Luiz can't play.
  6. This does have the air of a 'best of the bad bunch' title winning season.
  7. Honestly speaking, we started really good, were in complete control, but due to poor finishing and utter complacency allowed Stoke back into the game. Stoke were shit, we let them back into it, it's as simple as that. This was exactly like the Newcastle match, a 5-0 win on a plate, but we threw the dish on the floor. Anyone else praying Zenit get knocked out of the CL so we could make a go for Witsel?
  8. Im so glad we have safe and solid Cahill in our back line.
  9. What on earth was he playing at today? He was a liability, it's like he wasn't even playing, oh wait he wasn't
  10. Got it wrong with the subs today, but every one does sometime or another. We can see what he is trying to implement, but this is a different group of players from 2004, so it's going to take more time. I still think we can win the league, mainly because our rival's have there flaws aswell. I reckon this will be like 10/11 and the best of the bad bunch will win it.
  11. Torres was fucking awful, granted Ba and Eto'o were both bad, but Torres had a mare, and was rightfully taken off.
  12. Like Newcastle in the first half, this was a 5-0 win on a plate if we finished better and applied our-self's properly. Stoke were awful, we (and the ref) let them back in it through utter complacency. Not all is lost, smash Palace and City and Everton get something against Le Arse, all off a sudden things will look allright in the world again.
  13. If Oscar's importance to this set up wasn't obvious before this week, it is now.
  14. I predict he will go on a couple of runs, miss 2 guilt edged chances and get 200 votes for MOTM because he skinned Wilson once.
  15. United could be 10th they lose to Newcastle, Villa beat Fulham and there's a 4 goal swing between them and Villa.
  16. Yeah, and thanks, good luck for the remainder of your season.
  17. fair enough, either way can u remove me please?
  18. @CHOULO19, Can you give my team to a new manager? i have tried but i just don't have the same time for it i use too.
  19. Don't think they got under-rated, they just got emphatically overshadowed by Hazard. Both had pretty decent games tho.
  20. What he brings to the table far outweighs the risk of a rush of blood every now and again, for me.
  21. Im not too sure, i was one of the first people that lost patience with him and that was around November 2011 10 months after he joined and even before then (when 95% of supporters were convinced he will come good) were glorifying even his beyond shit games and making out that he played decent when he quite clearly didn't. Then there was CL winning lite celebrations when he finally scored, along with section's of the MHL groaning against Sunderland when it emerged Lampard scored not Torres off the bar (which it looked like happened from the other end of the ground).
  22. Nail on the head. The double standards when it comes to this guy are hilarious. Fair enough in the City game he had a great match and deserved the plaudits, but i have seen Drogba have better games than Torres vs Spurs and get a pasting for it.
  23. Remember when Mourinho left Inter and they turned to shit? apparently that's because Mourinho was selfish and didn't consider the future and was only in it for himself. Man.Utd have now turned to shit now Ferguson has left and apparently that is the last bit of proof of his ultimate greatness. Go figure.
