Well in theory that's actually true

If Eto'o decided he wanted to stay and sit on the remainder of his contract like Malouda/Bogarde did to us, then the only way Anzhi could have got rid of him was to release him while paying his whole contract off.
-
For all his fault's he isn't the typical modern day footballer. Tell him he won't play again and is training with the reserves and he will be gone, i can guarantee it.
-
Glad to hear he has improved a lot then, after his spell at Leicester i was convinced he was done as far as Chelsea was concerned.
-
He could have sat on his contract at Anzhi if he wanted too.

The Cahill type of player is good for the squad, he is homegrown, doesn't have a big ego, won't complain when on the bench and happy to sit around and fill in when needed. When you start playing squad player's every game, that is when it will start to show on the pitch, just like it has done.

Thing is with Eto'o is if all else fails he atleast gets the basics right like not turning over the ball nearly every time he gets it, que someone quoting me and mentioning the Stoke game, like he has been doing it all season.

@The only place to be, Why i can 100% understand your upset at the Jose/Lukaku public slating thing, i don't think it's anything personal on Jose's behalf. He did exactly the same to Ricardo Carvalho and he was one of Mou's closest ally's.

It was Hazard that scored that one in the end.
-
We didn't scrape past Southampton, apart from that first minute blooper we controlled the game against a very good side. and don't worry, we will win at The Emirates, for sure.
-
He did it last time with Huth when we had the three best centre back around, and Huth was shit.
-
He should have left on a relative high at the end of last season when he scores vs Benfica and Everton to help achieve our goals (Trophy and 3rd). Oh well, with two strikers coming in next summer (one being Lukaku of course) at worst he will be numero tres next season.

I did Can't work every time
-
That's the nail on the head really, Cahill is the right type of player to have here, a squad player, homegrown and not a big ego, he can fill in when need to and do a job, like O Shea did for United. I wish we kept Cork for that reason. Jose doesn't seem to get the memo however and is playing him every week.

If Man.City beat Arsenal, it's in our hands to go top off the table. Makes it more the annoying we could have gone top next weekend if we didn't mess up tho.
-
I have a habit of watching games, going to the toilet and by the time i have got back the away side have scored. I thought i would try it again today and by the time i got back
-
I was hoping for Fleetwood or Grimsby at home
-
The reason that defense was so good at the start is because of the midfield protecting the shit out of them and Lloris, if AVB opens up that defense would get picked apart with ease.
-
haha, Tamworth manager is the sub goallie and his son is the first choice
-
Imagine if we get Tamworth in round 3 away?
-
You know you are doing shit when your daughter criticizes your tactics
-
Lets hope Arsenal get Birmingham in the FA Cup 3rd round, their season go down the shit after a game against Birmingham.

It was more of a tongue in cheek comment, and really? Sturridge had a better display against WBA the season before and practically got hounded out of the club. Terry got the equalizer, kept our defense together, Mata got the assist, Lampard and Ramires dominated Spurs midfield, yet Torres who missed two guilt edged chances, the ball for this first goal and get a red get's 117 MOTM votes because he made a couple of good runs against those donkey's Dawson and Vertonghen. He played well for his standards but he was no way our best player on the pitch. The City match he was (our best player on the pitch) and he really played well and deserved the praise an MOTM votes, but the reaction to his WHL game was well, well ott, it was similar to Drogba's game against Arsenal in 2004/2005 and Sturridge against West Brom last season in the sense he played a decent game but other played better and missed a couple of glorious chances. The only difference being two of them got stick like never before and the other got praised to the hilt. I give him praise when he did play well, i did it against City, and will if he has another great single game i will do the same, it changes nothing in the grand scheme of things, i want him gone and can't wait for the day. And it's not just with Torres. Believe me i gave Turnbull, Bosingwa, Pizzaro, Huth amoungst other's just as much flak, and was more than happy when they all the departed the club.

Vertonghen is probably the most over-rated CB i have ever seen in my life. The amount of times he gets caught on the wrong side of a striker is shocking, like against Villa when he had to resort to pulling a players short's down.

Having two world class keeper isn't practical. Yes have a decent one to keep Cech and Courtois on their toe's like Schwarzer, but competition in goal is different to outfield.
