  1. Im not too sure, i was one of the first people that lost patience with him and that was around November 2011 10 months after he joined and even before then (when 95% of supporters were convinced he will come good) were glorifying even his beyond shit games and making out that he played decent when he quite clearly didn't. Then there was CL winning lite celebrations when he finally scored, along with section's of the MHL groaning against Sunderland when it emerged Lampard scored not Torres off the bar (which it looked like happened from the other end of the ground).
  2. Nail on the head. The double standards when it comes to this guy are hilarious. Fair enough in the City game he had a great match and deserved the plaudits, but i have seen Drogba have better games than Torres vs Spurs and get a pasting for it.
  3. Remember when Mourinho left Inter and they turned to shit? apparently that's because Mourinho was selfish and didn't consider the future and was only in it for himself. Man.Utd have now turned to shit now Ferguson has left and apparently that is the last bit of proof of his ultimate greatness. Go figure.
  4. If this was the Stoke of 2/3 years ago in their 'prime' under Pulis with the Delap/Shooton throw in's i would be getting nightmares about this match, but this ain't the same Stoke they stagnated badly at the 2nd half of last season. Having said that, it will still be a tough, tough match and if we get caught sleeping we could drop 2/3 points, Ba should 100% start this one. Stick to Mata, Hazard, Willian, not sure about the rest of the team (bar Cech obviously).
  5. You got lucky, my stream froze when the ball was coming to him (and that was before it was obvious he was going to slip). That's the second time that's happened to me late on this season (after Villa match stream froze just before Weimann had that late shot).
  6. Moyes started Giggs and Fellaini in the pivot against Everton. and we think Chelsea have central midfield issue's
  7. The commentator on my stream picked up on his experience at the end, deciding to take the corner instead of going for goal, a decision that effectively ended the match. Yes i know the chances of Sunderland counter attacking in 30 seconds and equalizing was unlikely, but you need maturity and experience like that in a long season.
  8. Would love Witsel. Witsel, Ramires, Witsel, Lamps (would play well most games if he is used in a lesser role) and Mikel would get us through until Van Ginkel gets back.
  9. On another note that's 9 wins in a row at the Stadium of Light. We always get a tough test at that ground yet still come out on top.
  10. Don't worry, its all fun and games I personally can't see him getting Ronaldo/Messi level, but the level down i think is well within his reach imo.
  11. Well and truly resorted back to type tonight. Funny thing is it's still better than the tripe he delivered under Carlo, AVB and Rafa, which kind off says it all. 2 Premier League goals in the whole of 2013 isn't an accident or coincidence. Ba deserves to start on Saturday and probably right up until Eto'o returns.
  12. What i will say is that if Mourinho doesn't think Luiz's face fit's, we need to find another CB sharpish.
  13. To think, we could be getting this type of display more and more as he gets older.
  14. Fuck that again, give me a nice and relaxing 2-0 any day of the week. Buzzing with the win, ecstatic that Hazard seems to be starting to take responsibility and games by the scruff of the neck a lot more (West Brom end of first half and tonight) but my word, that nearly finished me. On to Stoke, and hopefully another 3 points
  15. That's what we want from Hazard every week, taking the game by the scruff of the neck.
  16. I seem to remember in 2005 Mourinho similarly had a go at Carvalho in a press conference and i couldn't remember similar outcry. What does Lukaku have that Carvalho didn't? let me guess he is young enough to play in the Olympic's.
  17. Actually they did, and wouldn't risk him in the PL until he proved himself at Bolton, and even then he only got in because Arsenal had an injury hit start to the season when Fabregas was unavailable.
  18. They will never be a great partnership, something that Mourinho has seemed to work out pretty early, as it hasn't been used since Basle (outside the COC).
  19. In general i think it's the opposite, especially if the young player was an academy product. I remember one match McEachran played under Carlo (i think it was Zilina at home but don't hold me to it) he messed up a simple pass and the fans around me applauded and were like 'unlucky lad', Malouda did the same minutes later and was called every name under the sun. If their is one type of player fans will be patient with (in my experience) no matter what, it's players from our academy, my mate still harbored hopes for Conor Clifford to be our next midfield captain general until the moment he got released early this year.
  20. Shame Liam Ridgewell and Mo Salah never got the memo.
  21. Any time now an attacking midfielder comes up on the transfer rumours the topic should be locked by default.
  22. His reception has never been a problem even when he was beyond shit, against Sunderland under AVB it looked like he scored from the bar from the Matthew Harding End, when Neil announced it was actually Lampard that scored half the people around me groaned like the goal was disallowed.
  23. Januzaj nominated for young Sport personality of the year. What the absolute fuck?
  24. Im guessing his next start will be at Sunderland (league cup) then in the FA Cup 3rd round, hopefully thing's will kick on for him after that.
  25. I think someone's looking for a like of Phil Driver
