Didn't Hazard create more chances than any one else put together vs Leicester in the first half? That's the thing with Hazard his 'bad games' can be quite deceptive, you think he's playing bad then look at the stats afterwards and you see something along the lines off 5 key passes, 7 successful dribbles, 2 assists. That is the sign of a great player, one that's making things happen even when playing below par. I honestly wouldn't sell this guy for any price whatsoever, he is streets ahead of any other player in our team, and the PL now Suarez has gone.

Fair enough Chris Sutton, Chelsea Legend.
-
Im sure he has played 110 PL games. For perspective Eto'o got nine in twenty one, 11 behind with over 80 games behind, and that is a Eto'o that's a shadow of his former self.

The thing what you don't seem to get is its not Torres being shit that bugs people it's his attitude, funny how there's so much animosity towards Torres but Sheva and Ba are widely respected with the Chelsea faithful despite there underwhelming times, have you ever wondered why?and using his goal at the Nou Camp as a defence pisses me off, no one seems to acknowledge RAMIRES GOT THE GAME CHANGING GOAL or BOSINGWA YES BOSINGWA made a crucial interception that prevented a two on one vs Cech, no its all Torres apparently despite twice nearly undoing 170 minutes off hardwork for us. Does Bosingwas interception means he should escape criticism for his catastrophic 4 years? does Ramires goal mean we should let him off his bad form the last year? No to both those answer's, but hey Torres can be as shit ss he wants because we owe him for scoring a goal, the sheer amount of excuses for this guy another question, where were you when Kalou was getting shit?

Liverpool are going to be comedy gold in the Champions League this season.

The difference between Suarez and Ballotelli is while the former was an absolute nut job he always gave his all in the pitch and in training and never caused trouble from within. Ballotelli is a completely different kettle of fish, give it a year and he will have Brendan tied up to one of the Melwood crossbars.

This guy has been causing us problems since 2007 one way or another.

£25m for a 30 year old still performing to a high level would be pushing it, let alone some one who has completely lost it. Surely this isn't true.
-
I kept saying Eto'o was better than Lukaku last season, even before it was cool to say anything remotely good about Samuel. Guess we will truly find out now.
-
When Di Maria signs for United he won't be England's most expensive player anymore, might boost his confidence and make him return to form.

How many regular starters in recent times were in the team as a regular starter in there early 20s? Hazard, Robben, Oscar, Mikel is all that I can think off for the Roman era off the top of my head. its what we can expect from young players, you are a big advocate of giving youth a chance aren't you? If we start doing that more often (whether thats academy or from abroad) then expect some more cases like Oscar because there will be lots.

I think Allardyce will get it personally.

A better comparison to show how far we have come would be one we fielded under AVB compared to now.

Snakes can still bite after their heads cut off.

The state of Uniteds squad looks similar to ours in 2011. Most of the squad former good players past their best or not good enough, that's a leathel combination for all the wrong reasons.

An Everton fan on 606 5 live said he was a rabbit caught in the headlights. It was a 5 minute debut against Arsenal mind so can't take to much out of it.
-
Not really, else there would be calls for Zouma to replace Terry.
-
To right, and to think we let Malouda go to accommodate this clown
-
No way will Cesc be in a 2 man midfield in this one.

Apologise if there's already a topic, but im on my phone so can't use the search feature. If Cech leaves, should we go back in for this guy? Im sure we can negotiate down from what Norwich were demanding last summer and if we sign him it means we won't need to register Schwarzer, also meaning any Cech departure would clear a foreign spot. Now I like Schwarzer but I think he would struggle in long run of games, like Freidel which is why Spurs went to bring Vorm in. Also with Arse signing Ospina and City signing Cabwhatits face, high quality back ups are starting to appear at every club. Even Swansea have Tremmel. Would be worth keeping Mark tho mind, as if we lost 2 keepers im sure we could draft him into the list. It would also be the first baby step into sorting our HG list out, and im not just talking about the required quota. About 3 to 4 million would be a fair price for John.

For the first time since the double season we have attackers making movements along with a top top striker and Ivanovic's form (attacking wise) from the double season returns. Coincidence im sure.
-
United and Arsenal we adopted the policy of try and win but also be mindful that a draw away to a title rival(or in Uniteds case who we thought would be one) isn't the end of the world, against Spurs Jose was about to throw an extra forward on but abandoned that when Torres got sent off. We approached the Ethiad game the same as OT and Emirates, only difference was City weren't as cautious which gave us space to counter.
-
We didn't settle for a draw in those games.

Personally I would go for a CB before another striker. We kept pace last season with a semi retired Eto'o as our only decent option, if Costa is out for a month at any point god for bid we should get by, if we have to start playing teenagers in defence for a prolonged period off time, our team stability is fucked.
