  1. Didn't he actually want to join us and it was Tottenham standing in his way?....
  2. Buffon did do well. But he was only allowed to do well because of Fernandos bad touch. He came on when the match was really opening up and everyone were getting tired, managed to get through to some chances and still fuck up like he has been doing for 1 ½ year here, not sure how I can spin that positively. Saying Torres has always sucked for Spain is just wrong, bringing in Hierro (who was well known for his many many goals) won't change that. People keeps defending Torres and attacking anyone who questions his performances, all while the forum uses any opportunity to jump on really any other player when they have a bad game. Of course it doesn't. He has been class all season. Torres hasn't shown anything really for the last 1 ½ year.
  3. It's not like I care for Spain (I was cheering for Italy) but isn't it pretty obvious why people care about poor performances from their own teams players? Especially with Torres who's one big question mark, seeing him keeping up missing big chances is not a good sign, at all.
  4. Both very injury prone, especially Agger who we should never even consider as he's constantly out with back problems. Hummels is imo great, but I agree with you, we are more than covered in the central defense.
  5. Black shirt is terrible. Away shirt is ok, not great but not that bad.It seems a little weird that there's a gap with the sash and the shoulder and it's a bit too light blue for my taste.
  6. Because Ramires hopefully isn't going to play on the right wing. So much better in the central midfield.
  7. Bundesliga is no doubt better. It will be interesting to see the french league in the next coming years though, especially with PSG getting as much money as they are.
  8. They allowed him to write that crap on twitter... so... It's not like they can't allow him to comment or say something specific.
  9. What the hell? Is there some special rule in France or something cause that doesn't apply to anywhere else. You can announce it whenever you want to, hell you can even sign the player and get him to Chelsea any day of the year you want to, he just can't be registered but you can buy players outside the transfer windows and even get them to come and train with the club until the next transfer window is open. Just can't play any official matches, so not sure what the hell that guy is talking about. Also whatever the transfer window for the selling club is usually doesn't matter. Like Djiby Fall was sold outside of the danish transfer window but while the Russian was still open.
  10. Because : It's just what he prefers and he's actually a fantastic winger (and that is what he has been playing 80% of the time at Lille and the national team)
  11. Well he better be nice to him after this.
  12. Chelsea wants a photo of the new manager in the middle, Hulk to the right of him and Hazard to the left for the announcement.
  13. It comes with having a lot of money and going for the best you can get, the same thing happens to City, Real, PSG and the other clubs that are well known to spend whatever it takes. At least the club is actually buying quality and wasting money on average English players with inflated prices or ending up with the third or fourth choice for the right wing because we didn't want to pay more than 25 mil.
  14. It would be a gamble to not take advantage of the status as the european champions and get the best the club can right now, Roman don't want to risk losing out on Champions League like the club very nearly did. Marin, De Bruyne and Sturridge will still only have one injury/suspension or one player from the starting line up getting rested and they would start, considering the amount of games a English team plays a season they will get quite a lot of play time. Lukaku could be screwed quite a bit here though, should maybe be loaned out. The squad needs depth like the other big clubs in premier league and we are getting that.
  15. He was probably asking for a source not being able to find the news and in the meantime of no one answering found it himself.
  16. Well back in 2010 I would say Liverpool would have had a decent shot at signing him.
  17. Wiki lol Probably. Would mean that Sturridge would be used as a center forward as he has always wanted to, doubt he will get too much time on the right wing with Hulk and Marin (and Kevin De Bruyne? Still not quite sure if he's purely left and central)
  18. If he can keep off too many hamburgers.
  19. I wouldn't be too sure. Lukaku might be a good bit taller than him and also muscled up but damn... At the very least he would put in a good fight.
  20. Yup I wouldn't be too surprised either, Roman clearly wants to use the status as the European champions to get some real fucking quality in this window.
  21. The Swiss Ramble on twitter about this https://twitter.com/#!/swissramble
  22. If by really real you mean really fake, I agree. It was a great season, more than just decent and the only thing keeping Cologne from complete collapse. Podolski is great when he gets to play center forward, so when RVP goes I am sure he will do well. He won't do well on the wing though, which both Bayern and the national team has already proven.
  23. He was playing less than 24 hours ago in Washington against the US, so would imagine he's still there.
