  1. Copenhagen made an offer to loan Lukaku for the next season after getting Ariel Jacobs as a new manager (the person who put him in the first team in Anderlecth when he was 16), Chelsea saying no though because of that damn homegrown rule according to the agent. So I guess unless another English club wants to loan him, he will stay here.
  2. Doubt Lukaku is going to be loaned out to Lille. Werders management said something about Chelsea only wanting to loan him out to English clubs because of the homegrown rule. Well if he's satisfied in Portugal then sure they don't. But there has been rumors of him really wanting to go and if he does, then he could semi force a move.
  3. The club is already looking at alternatives and has obviously always been doing that. No reason to "end this saga", maybe looking a bit more at some alternatives can even make Porto lower their price.
  4. No. You and everyone acting like it isn't Porto's job to squeeze as much money out of every transfer as possible are pathetic. We have no right to buy and sign him for under 30mil, he got a contract and should honor that if the clubs don't agree on a price, he signed it himself. Especially with Chelsea's transfer history of giving in and just giving the price the clubs wants, it's hard to blame them. It's not like Porto don't need the money either, all those talents don't just show up at Porto from out of nothing.
  5. Redknapp will reportedly be paid £3,000,000 in compensation by Spurs, which after tax will equate to c.£3,000,000
  6. Farfan and Jarvis, jesus christ. I would be happier if you would put a nail through my dick than if Chelsea signed that. Can't believe you are still going on about how he isn't a winger, especially after your embarrassing "he had like 4 assists all season!!!" that was proven terrible wrong. Chelsea has just won champions league, this is not the time to gamble on great prospects from the Scottish league or buy average English players (leave it to Liverpool) or fucking Farfan. No, it's time to take advantage of the situation and I couldn't be happier that the club is doing that, buy from the top shelve of what is available.
  7. What is this Transfer News Central? They desperately need a spell checker.
  8. Didn't he actually want to join us and it was Tottenham standing in his way?....
  9. Buffon did do well. But he was only allowed to do well because of Fernandos bad touch. He came on when the match was really opening up and everyone were getting tired, managed to get through to some chances and still fuck up like he has been doing for 1 ½ year here, not sure how I can spin that positively. Saying Torres has always sucked for Spain is just wrong, bringing in Hierro (who was well known for his many many goals) won't change that. People keeps defending Torres and attacking anyone who questions his performances, all while the forum uses any opportunity to jump on really any other player when they have a bad game. Of course it doesn't. He has been class all season. Torres hasn't shown anything really for the last 1 ½ year.
  10. It's not like I care for Spain (I was cheering for Italy) but isn't it pretty obvious why people care about poor performances from their own teams players? Especially with Torres who's one big question mark, seeing him keeping up missing big chances is not a good sign, at all.
  11. Both very injury prone, especially Agger who we should never even consider as he's constantly out with back problems. Hummels is imo great, but I agree with you, we are more than covered in the central defense.
  12. Black shirt is terrible. Away shirt is ok, not great but not that bad.It seems a little weird that there's a gap with the sash and the shoulder and it's a bit too light blue for my taste.
  13. Because Ramires hopefully isn't going to play on the right wing. So much better in the central midfield.
  14. Bundesliga is no doubt better. It will be interesting to see the french league in the next coming years though, especially with PSG getting as much money as they are.
  15. They allowed him to write that crap on twitter... so... It's not like they can't allow him to comment or say something specific.
  16. What the hell? Is there some special rule in France or something cause that doesn't apply to anywhere else. You can announce it whenever you want to, hell you can even sign the player and get him to Chelsea any day of the year you want to, he just can't be registered but you can buy players outside the transfer windows and even get them to come and train with the club until the next transfer window is open. Just can't play any official matches, so not sure what the hell that guy is talking about. Also whatever the transfer window for the selling club is usually doesn't matter. Like Djiby Fall was sold outside of the danish transfer window but while the Russian was still open.
  17. Because : It's just what he prefers and he's actually a fantastic winger (and that is what he has been playing 80% of the time at Lille and the national team)
  18. Chelsea wants a photo of the new manager in the middle, Hulk to the right of him and Hazard to the left for the announcement.
  19. It comes with having a lot of money and going for the best you can get, the same thing happens to City, Real, PSG and the other clubs that are well known to spend whatever it takes. At least the club is actually buying quality and wasting money on average English players with inflated prices or ending up with the third or fourth choice for the right wing because we didn't want to pay more than 25 mil.
  20. It would be a gamble to not take advantage of the status as the european champions and get the best the club can right now, Roman don't want to risk losing out on Champions League like the club very nearly did. Marin, De Bruyne and Sturridge will still only have one injury/suspension or one player from the starting line up getting rested and they would start, considering the amount of games a English team plays a season they will get quite a lot of play time. Lukaku could be screwed quite a bit here though, should maybe be loaned out. The squad needs depth like the other big clubs in premier league and we are getting that.
  21. He was probably asking for a source not being able to find the news and in the meantime of no one answering found it himself.
  22. Well back in 2010 I would say Liverpool would have had a decent shot at signing him.
