Drogba won the ECL not Di Matteo

f00tballmatters... Come on, sounds like some joke site. The article is just a few thoughts and opinions without ever going in depth with anything, shitty. Oh and dude, fix your site lol, doesn't look great in 1080p. -
From the little I have actually seen of him he looks pretty incredible. Would love to see him here and would love to see Chelsea take him in front of both the manchesters. Good thing we have the master of judgements, Henrique, to decide that for us what posts are worth being written.

Even a youngster complaining like that... Yeah, seems like AVB really did have shit player management skills. Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has launched a stinging attack on former manager Andre Villas-Boas, insisting he will "never forgive" his sacked boss. Lukaku, 19, accused Villas-Boas of ostracising him from the day he arrived at the club. Belgium striker Lukaku was signed for £18million at the start of Villas-Boas' doomed reign as part of a long-standing scouting project but the Portuguese hardly gave the youngster a look-in. Lukaku told Sport Wereld: "There is one person that I will never forgive for what he did to me - the previous coach. CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL Check out all the images from the UEFA Champions League final at Allianz Arena. "It's not just that. It was also the way he spoke to me and treated me. Right from the beginning, it was weird. I could not stand how he was treating me. I received no explanation. "In training, he put me on the right or left wing. In training matches, I was a substitute with a shirt to keep swapping teams. I really learned nothing! "I have told the club that too. I understand that he was under pressure, but I was also thinking of myself. I have improved in recent months." Lukaku only had a little more game time under caretaker-manager Roberto Di Matteo and was not in the squad for Saturday's Champions League triumph. He was nevertheless delighted with the outcome, saying: "I could not believe it. I had to think, 'Is this really happening'? European champion...My life has changed and I'm only 19."

A pretty big difference in wanting to play and bitching about it in the press.
-
Looking forward to seeing him say that, can only find lots of tweets about that and then a fucking mirror article. Even if he did want to take it I am glad Di Matteo took that decision for him.
-
Are you actually serious here? It was obvious that Torres did not want to take any penalty, it was obvious quite a few times that he was saying no and pussying out when RDM approached him. Also lol at it being a mistake to starting Kalou, worked out pretty well didn't it? Even if Kalou wasn't impressive, who knows how Torres would have done playing all game on the wing?

Feel kind of bad for the blackburn fans though. Such shit owners, shit club and just generally shit management, they won't see premier league football again for some time.

Probably has more to do with the strict stupid ass work permits even for footballers. -
Honestly disgusted as a big fan of Essien with that tackle, he deserved to be banned for a hell lot of matches. Stuff like that has no place in football. Spearring or Suarez should have been banned too. Can't bother to comment much on the match itself, was terrible, like I expected with that lineup. Not that it hurts less losing to liverpool, truly hate them.

MAIL BOMB: From Stamford Bridge to Battersea
calculatingInfinity replied to Lampy's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I don't think hundreds of Chelsea fans mailing her will do anything to change her mind. If anything it would annoy her having all that spam. -
Might as well get Djourou then.

The guy has just turned 27, dismissing him because of that age is a bit silly, could understand if he was in his 30's. -
I wouldn't say he really creates much by himself either, he can get past a man or two but he's not a creative genius. But if you put any cross in, he will get a head, foot or ass on it and try and get it on goal. But well, arguing about this is pointless, we will sign a new forward if Drogba leaves and we loan out Lukaku, can't be any other way around it. One injury and we would otherwise have to play the same forward in all cup, european and league matches. Cavani is my dream forward for Chelsea, been following him since his first day in Palermo and I have no doubt he would fit in really well, also with a more technical play style if we are really going to change Chelseas football philosophy. Couldn't disagree more with you calling him overrated but guess we will have to wait and see once Napoli doesn't make CL and we sign him in the summer.
-
Benzema and Dzeko? No doubt in my mind that they are. The point is not really that we should keep playing that style of football, but that it will be terrible once we don't have a plan b and can put in a more physical forward. Sturridge and Torres against a team like Stoke... Nope. We need to keep Lukaku and not loan him out then.
-
Two different kind of players but they share a lot of the same abilities. One of them being strength, which Cavani, while not being as strong a beast as Drogba, is pretty damn strong. Having followed him since his early Palermo days I would like to think I know that much. If we are not willing to let Lukaku play fairly regularly next season we will lack a strong man in front we will need someone else. Cavani is not a target man but we won't get a better replacement for what Drogba can do for the club, imo. There's just no way we can go through a season with Torres and Sturridge as our main forwards, we will lack so much physical presence in the box.
-
If we lose Drogba then we either need to take our chance and say Lukaku is good enough or get a new striker who is a physical beast. Even if Torres now gets in form we need someone who can win duel after duel, something which neither he or Sturridge can.
-
Fantastic match by everyone and great to see a confident Torres. That's all I have to add.
-
Because he was considered one of the most promising talents in Germany for quite some time.
-
He meant a Chelsea player joining them. Also Pizzarro had his contract ripped apart, will probably go to Bayern by the end of the season.
