  1. Messi hit the post too... But I'm not saying that it was a genius tactic or anything, that wasn't my point, just that it wasn't as useless as some make it out to be. What I am saying is that on any other day it could have easily been Barca going through, think Chelsea fully deserved it in the end with that fight.
  2. Well they missed a penalty and so on... So it's not like the their plan a was completely useless...
  3. So you're doubting Pep because of peoples unreasonable and weird expectations? Doesn't make sense. I'm more than assured that if Pep comes in he won't play a system that doesn't fit the team, it will be a slow process to play more attacking football.
  4. One man will certainly not be enough to change the football philosophy at Chelsea, at least not to something like in Barcelona. I'm not one of those that think the way Barca plays is the most fantastic thing ever, but what they do is something that they have been working on with generations of players. I don't think Pep will be stupid and try and completely reform the club if he comes, it's a slow transition, everyone knows that. You're doubting a man that has won I don't even know how many trophies with Barca because he didn't reform the club. Our current manager who just won us CL is a west brom reject who not even Birmingham wanted and he sure didn't reform Chelsea or show any signs of wanting to do so, he went back to the old Mourinho roots.
  5. That's a very premature statement. He hasn't managed anyone but barcelona yet, lets face it : Their tactic worked for the 3 first seasons and it's the style the whole club is based around. Of course they should have a plan b, but problem is they just haven't had the player for it this season, with Zlatan they did (and that showed he isn't completely Bielsa crazy and set in stones with his tactics) but we all know how that ended up...
  6. Di Matteo has done incredible well and I praise him for it, but is he the right man to rebuild a Chelsea side? I have my doubts.
  7. If anything Luiz would fit perfectly. Lets not forget Puyol was a important player under him either, he's really not very fast these days and isn't a great passer or anything. He might be a very attacking manager, but he isn't Bielsa crazy in that regard. Would imagine someone like Terry being fucked with him coming in though, Pep doesn't take any bullshit and I would imagine fucking team mates wives, being accused of racism and what not is included under that.
  8. Didn't his bad marking cost a goal within the first like 5 min of him being a right back against Barca? I love Ramires but he doesn't seem like someone who would be comfortable on the right back and I don't want him there.
  9. Le Equipe said around that too. Not surprised in the slightest though, as you said with the English medias who can't even translate a bit of french correct.
  10. It's business. They got a contract on him and he should honor it like any professional if they don't want to sell, would be silly for Porto not to try and get as many millions as possible. It could easily be around 90% done and it's only a few millions separating the clubs.
  11. I would think a player like Hulk would have more than 26.000 followers. He's also posting photos of himself that can be found on other sites, posted months before he did it on twitter and his account is not verified. So yeah, really doubt it's him.
  12. Well even Robbens hairline >>> Gervinhos hairline.
  13. Gervinho was 22 or 23 when he went to Lille. Hazard started playing for them when he was 17.
  14. Eh surely Marin or De Bruyne (he can play right win too, right?) will be on that right wing. I love Ramires but he isn't a fantastic winger. Also really doubt Hazard is going to play centrally instead of Mata, it will be Hazard going on that left wing.
  15. The clue is in his location Location: Eva's Bedroom
  16. and in 70 years they won't have any numbers left. Del Piero told the Juve management not to retire his number 10 shirt and Pirlo agreed and I quite liked his reasoning
  17. You are comparing the transfer price of Ronaldo alone here to the transfer price and wages over the next 5 years from the Hazard transfer.
  18. Alright I give up. My last post on this number 10 shirt bullshit, but yet yet yet again : Give me a link, anything where he says that, it's ridiculous how this has become a truth all of a sudden. Again let me quote Hell, you just have to read beyond the title of the bullshit article that started this to see he didn't demand the #10 on his new team but was simply talking about how great it was to play that for Belgium. http://www.dailymail...eams-No-10.html
  19. There's nothing to be concerned about. Also the picture is amazingly stupid for several reasons, how is it concerning in any way that he says things like "yes, they are a good club, it's possible" about any club? Was he supposed to say "Arsenal? nah, they are shit"? But even then I don't believe any of the quotes, especially when that "it will be one of the 2 Manchester clubs" quote is completely wrong, here's the interview that quote was based on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpR_A6QogIc As you can read from the guardians article that is when he's supposed to say that ( http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2012/may/15/manchester-eden-hazard-city-united?CMP=twt_gu ). If you watch that you clearly see it's complete bullshit and he didn't say that. It's amazing that people are still, after we have signed him, eating up all these so called quotes that there is never any evidence off. You would think there could at least be a video where he was saying all this shit. Same goes for his "demanding of having number 10".
  20. It's probably bullshit anyway, lets not judge Hazard on rumors of him demanding numbers on his shirt, especially after the English medias has already shown how they will make up whatever just to try and create some drama.
  21. I can read newspapers and listen to/look up the original source. It's amazing I know, but 90% of the time it's the media loosely translating everything and taking quotes completely out of context to sell more. See my post above.
  22. Now that we are on about the medias and their bullshit quotes and headlines (I am going to manchester, wearing blue...), here's from a Belgian on another forum :
  23. No he didn't. Give me any quotes from him saying that, please. Or are you just talking about shitty headlines from trash journalists?
  24. Alright here we go again : Did you see what he was responding to or are you pulling that out of context on purpose? : "Wilmots (the new national team coach) decided to give him the nr 10 jersey/role since Wilmots rates him pretty high and the Belgium team needed a proper number 10. He used to play as a winger or was a benchwarmer under the previous coach. Wilmots said he watched Hazard at Lille this season and saw him flourish in that more central role. Then medias asked Hazard directly and he confirmed he likes the position. That's about it. He didn't even mention wanting the number 10 role at Chelsea/United/City."
