He has shown much better finishing this season, when someone creates as much as he does it's ok that he misses a few of them, Torres on the other hand neither creates any chances himself or scores when he every now and then is in a decent position.

From bad to worse. Can Rafa take Torres out with him, please?
-
Well at least it isn't for long. Really don't like the guy but time to give him a chance.

Phew only until the summer. Thank God for that, don't want Rafa here permanently.

Edit : Wrong thread, sorry.

Come on son. We all know Chelsea wouldn't be here as CL winners or able to buy players like Hazard, Oscar and Mata if it wasn't for Roman. Apparently lots of managers are willing to, managers still takes on the job at Palermo despite 50 sackings in 25 years.

He no doubt does stupid things on top of enjoying crazy tackles. I mean look at his leg tat lol

Chelsea really needs another midfielder as it currently is. It might be fine right now but we only need an injury or two and the central midfield is pretty fucked.

Bertrand had a really really bad game and Hazard even saved his ass a few tmes, but it's good to get 3 points no matter how late it came. -
Thought he was rather good in both Manchester matches except when he was dumb enough to lost the ball in the middle. Many people completely forget how Cahill messed up in the first match and let RVP break free from him with U17 run, just think Luiz looks more like a clown whenever he loses the ball due to his play style.

Mata was good enough, obviously not as good as in the last United match but completely ok performance. Romeu, Azpilicueta, Piazon and Sturridge on the other hand had a real poor game, especially Romeu was sadly just a disaster pretty much each time he had the ball. Sturridge also despite the goal shows why even Torres starts over him, Azpilicueta had two huge chances and gave away a completely unnecessary penalty. Hazard was just amazing when he came on and Ramires and Oscar were also great. In the end it's the victory that counts and not losing 3 games in a row, but there was definitively some players that needs to do a lot better. -
FIFA Ballon d'Or list 2012

Which is really what I pointed out in my post myself (Although it wasn't much better in Europe league.), just pointed out that part of your argument was't really valid when it's about this year. -

Isn't Ballon D'Or is about the year, not season? So United getting embarrassed in CL group stage shouldn't be taken into consideration... Although it wasn't much better in Europe league. -
Chelsea lodge complaint about Clattenberg

If he's found guilty of doing this I highly doubt he will just be suspended, he will never ref again. -

Chelsea made a complaint to the Premier League after Mikel stormed into the referee's room to demand an apology after claiming Clattenburg made a racist slur when he booked the midfielder in the 76th minute. Juan Mata is also involved after Chelsea players claim they heard Clattenburg, one of FIFA’s top officials, refer to the midfielder as ‘a Spanish twat’. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2224433/Referee-Mark-Clattenburg-used-racist-slurs-players-Chelsea-complain.html -

A seat was thrown at Hernandez. Ivans fault for even giving him the chance, shouldn't run around across him that closely, it will be a red any day if he goes down... and most pro footballers will. -

Disgusting ref performance. I give Torres a lot of shit and... He was shit again today, but no way that was ever a second yellow, fucking never. Then an offside goal. Fucking United and their refs. -
Well that convinced him I'm sure.

Is Torres the man to lead our attack?
calculatingInfinity replied to Strike's topic in Chelsea Articles
Quite clearly no. He needs to be sold cause we have already seen his moody bad side as long as there's just a bit of competition up front with Drogba. He annoys me in every match I watch with him, he doesn't work very hard and he slows down the play all the time, even with good looking counters he stops up and tries to slow the play down, just for him to try and dribble past two defenders instead of just passing it, the play style has changed since he came here and he still just doesn't work properly in the team. Chelsea needs a real quality striker and Torres isn't that, there's huge quality all around on the team except for the forward position. It will be hard to find a club willing to pay his wages though. -
New striker needed - but who?

A 30 year old forward who has just been out with a long time injury? No thanks. -
Eh that's really not true at all, not that your examples haven't been great value but a player like Cazorla while no doubt being great right now won't really have much of a re sale value, Then we can also put lots of examples of young players bought for peanuts and then sold for huge money. De Rossi is great, but will probably be really expensive if he can even be convinced to leave Roma, so I say no thanks and lets focus on Romeu, Mikel and get in another young central midfielder.
