  1. Seems like a good choice and it's one of the few ex Liverpool players I don't hate. Always had some class about him for me. But I'm afraid that even if he does well like Maresca, he will have enough of the incompetent board and such after a while. But here's to hoping it won't be the case and they learnt their lesson.
  2. Yeah I agree, that's kind of what I mean. I'm afraid Chelseas board are dumb enough to do the same though. But I pray not.
  3. Always was one of the very few Liverpool players I liked. Real Madrid is a very different beast to everything else, but hope he can get out dressing room full of malignant cunts under control, which he failed to in Spain. There's no way he doesn't have a big name out there still, despite of the failed madrid adventures. What he did at Leverkusen was quite something. So I guess a lot of promises were made to him. That he will finally be allowed to fix the blatant issues in the squad, that Maresca wasn't allowed to. Hoping for the best, but with the clowns in charge of the club I'm expecting it to turn sour a year into his time at the club
  4. People will keep saying the owners is the problem. And it's true, they are a huge problem. But having this LinkedIn manager is also a massive problem. He's completely lost.
  5. Froholdt is not ready to replace Enzo, but idk who would be. I love him though. He's absolutely one of the most exciting young midfielders in Europe imo. I'm obviously biased from watching him come through Copenhagen, but I think he got what it takes to become a success at a big club. Would be a dream player for Simeone at Atletico. Good technical ability and an insane work rate, it's honestly mind blowing watching the way he keeps going throughout a whole match, and he will allow another midfielder to have more freedom. Great mentality too, always fighting on and getting on with it, instead of crying to the ref or blaming others.
  6. Emery is not even close to yes man enough to work out. Do think it's funny we're pretending this whole situation sn't a Rosenior problem as well though. Dude is well out of his depth. Probably a nice guy but also a huge fucking joke at this level. Maresca, poch and tuchel are leagues above him.
  7. pretty offensive to give garnacho a note, when there's no way he can actually read.
  8. The owner situation sadly isn't going to change any time soon. It's shit. But wouldn't be getting torn apart like this with a competent manager.
  9. Funny how many Chelsea fans and Leicester fans were happy to see Maresca go.
  10. LinkedIn manager and a team full of cunts with no passion.
  11. Fofana should be subbed off right now for the complete lack of effort on the goal. Garnacho probably too really. But idk why we keep expecting him to be anything but pure unadulterated shit.
  12. What I would give, to never see Tosin play for Chelsea again. Worse than Boulahrouz.
  13. Hope I am wrong, but I think this will be a harsh wakeup call to some people, that Maresca was actually a good coach. I just dont see this working out well. But yeah, he deserves a fair chance, even if I wish it wouldn't have happened. Not his fault the board are clowns. Doubt the contract length will be much of an issue, they no doubt got some clauses in there if/when they fire him.
  14. Idiotic all around. Can't wait to see what clown they pull out of their hat now, need someone who's an even bigger yes man.
  15. and if he had just half a functioning brain. I truly despise him.
  16. I dont give a fuck what he will or wont do at city, i am purely looking at it from a Chelsea perspective. I think he is a great fit for Chelsea and I cant think of anyone Chelsea could realistically get, that I would want to replace Maresca. Well, you can count me as one.
  17. That would be a disaster. But I wouldn't be surprised if the idiots running the club, would be more than happy to let him go, especially after he started moaning about them.
  18. Palmer and Garnacho have been blind passengers here. Delap also horrific befoee he went off.
  19. Really good performance all things considered, and a good result too really. Shame Fofana had that mistake at the goal, but oh well. Should have scored with Joao Pedro earlier as well, who was way too slow to take his shot. But yeah mistakes happens, and they were minimal considering the team played a man down for so long. Have to say though, that challenge by Caicedo was extremely bad. He is such a good player, so really sucks missing him in this game and the next few ones. Maresca has built a great team and system here, hopefully he gets to keep developing it.
  20. Well put. But I am sure the Maresca crowd will be back as soon as a few not great results comes, despite the clear improvements. I understand the frustrations in the moment like against United or Sunderland, being irrational and angry is a part of being a football fan at times..... But gotta also look at the big picture, and luckily it seems like Todd and Egbhali are too for once.
  21. Still a steady improvement to the team, month after month. There will be bumps on the road, but I am still very happy to see him at Chelsea. Would love to see a proper world class center forward for him, and some better defenders of course, but that seems to just not be something the board is interested in ever buying again for Chelsea.
