He doesn't at all. It's a position he has only just started being allowed to play a few times during friendlies for the Belgian national team, the amount of games he has had on the left wing by far outweights the times he has played CAM. The central role might be the one he likes best himself, but I feel pretty sure we will mostly see him on the wing here.
-
Might not have been his best game and I can see lots of valid arguments against signing Hulk, but average at best? Come on.
-
Caught the replay of the game and can't help but be really excited for the new season. So many exciting performances for such an early pre game match (yeah yeah, defensive problems that will no doubt be sorted). Also great support by the seattle fans, watched a couple of games at their stadium and they no doubt got the most impressive support in the MLS.
-
The same way I felt when they took him from Palermo. So lets go ahead and steal him from that asshole De Laurentiis!
-
I'm afraid that would be way too offensive, the central midfield would be way too easily overrun.
-
The big difference of course being that Oscar has played out wide on the right wing while Moutinho has as far as I know never played as a winger. Bolding words is fun.
-
No thank you. His shitty attitude and inability to perform consistently in big matches can fuck right off. Also he's kind of old and it would insane giving Milan the money they want and meet his wage demands.
-
Bull fucking shit. Someone didn't watch him pre napoli, that's for sure. He was one of the biggest reasons Palermo were battling for Champions League spots (and only missed out by one point).
-
Seriously, it has been used for years and years, lol

It's either fake or an old tweet. Nasri hasn't tweeted since 27 june. Edit : Eh, someone already said it. -
"I personally have had a great season but my goal has been to win trophies" :D
-
and you replied to "Yeah, he's no doubt an upgrade from Bosingwa, despite him having a pretty big drop of form while Inter as a whole also went down the shitter.", he was never really the same after Bale humiliated him and Inter just went to shit around that time, including him. But again, I would like him here. Chelsea does desperately need a second right back.
-
Usually not at around the age of 28 and 29 though.
-
Yeah, he's no doubt an upgrade from Bosingwa, despite him having a pretty big drop of form while Inter as a whole also went down the shitter.
-
He didn't say that there was only one reason though, so you're just straw manning it here. There even was a period in the way between his "copenhagen will be fine" and "he will gets lots of playing time".
-
Yes lets completely ignore the quality of the teams and competitions and just say random dumb ass shit. His agent Christophe Henrotay even said Copenhagen would be great for Lukaku, but Chelsea won't allow it. The Danish league is pretty weak, around the same level as the Belgian, but he would also get lots of European experience in either CL or Europa League.
-
Sure. But Jacobs loves Lukaku so he would be secured constantly playing if he came here and possible play champions league football or at least Europe league, something he wouldn't in any premier league team really. But of course the home grown rule is a big deal. Just please lets not see him on the wing again, ffs that was frustrating to watch.
-
Copenhagen made an offer to loan Lukaku for the next season after getting Ariel Jacobs as a new manager (the person who put him in the first team in Anderlecth when he was 16), Chelsea saying no though because of that damn homegrown rule according to the agent. So I guess unless another English club wants to loan him, he will stay here.
-
Modric wanted to leave...
-
Doubt Lukaku is going to be loaned out to Lille. Werders management said something about Chelsea only wanting to loan him out to English clubs because of the homegrown rule. Well if he's satisfied in Portugal then sure they don't. But there has been rumors of him really wanting to go and if he does, then he could semi force a move.
-
The club is already looking at alternatives and has obviously always been doing that. No reason to "end this saga", maybe looking a bit more at some alternatives can even make Porto lower their price.
-
No. You and everyone acting like it isn't Porto's job to squeeze as much money out of every transfer as possible are pathetic. We have no right to buy and sign him for under 30mil, he got a contract and should honor that if the clubs don't agree on a price, he signed it himself. Especially with Chelsea's transfer history of giving in and just giving the price the clubs wants, it's hard to blame them. It's not like Porto don't need the money either, all those talents don't just show up at Porto from out of nothing.

Redknapp will reportedly be paid £3,000,000 in compensation by Spurs, which after tax will equate to c.£3,000,000
-
Farfan and Jarvis, jesus christ. I would be happier if you would put a nail through my dick than if Chelsea signed that. Can't believe you are still going on about how he isn't a winger, especially after your embarrassing "he had like 4 assists all season!!!" that was proven terrible wrong. Chelsea has just won champions league, this is not the time to gamble on great prospects from the Scottish league or buy average English players (leave it to Liverpool) or fucking Farfan. No, it's time to take advantage of the situation and I couldn't be happier that the club is doing that, buy from the top shelve of what is available.

What is this Transfer News Central? They desperately need a spell checker.
