I agree with you generally. However, that was a soft pen on Ribery. If the ref applied the same criteria, a pen should've called for Boateng's contact on Nando. But yes, by and large good refereeing throughout the final and the tournament.

I agree to an extent about the motivation, but also want to add that at 34 years of age, I don't think he has it in him physically to consistently put in the efforts and performances we've grown to know and love.

Unless Manure want to change their standard formation and push Chicarito and Welbeck to the side, I don't see how Kagawa is a great fit for them. Kagawa doesn't offer much defensively so he would weaken their central midfield in that department. I think Javi Martinez would make more sense for them.
