City def look like they're going to be playing with a lot more width. They've created 3 clear cut chances through superb deliveries from the flanks. As mush as Bayern has dominated, City have created the best chances.
-
Anyone watching the Bayern - City game? Bayern dominating possession but havent been able to make it count. City were defending with 10 men back for like 40 mins but carved out probably the 2 best chances of the match towards the end of the half. Both falling to Negredo where he fails to make em both count. Shoulda really scored at least one. Bayern playing a 4-3-3 with Mueller as a false 9. He hasn't looked that good tbh. City haven't had much possession but Nasri and Jovetic have looked pretty good.

I think you mean doppel banger! Edit - apparently doubleganger is an actual word, my mistake. Thought doppelganger was the only such word.

I want season to be as long as possible so my youngsters can get experience. I don't understand why our seasons have to be so quick. 12 games only? I'm going to switch my strategy up now and try to focus more on youth and rebuild as my first XI are getting up there in age. Just hope I don't get relegated. Came close this season but I was so unlucky with red cards and injuries costing me in almost every other match. Edit - Just saw that we might have two leagues but with 10 or more sides. I'd be down with that if you guys don't want a cup as there will still be a decent number of matches if we have 10-12 teams in each league.

They don't run at the same time. Audit Cup ends today and Milan resumes the international cup on the 4th.
-
Well there's now the U21 FA cup and the UEFA youth champions league added to the U18 youth cup, so a lot of competitions. While we have pitches at Cobham, Aldershot will allow us to play in a 7000 capacity stadium. So hopefully for those bigger games, the youngsters will have a decent enough crowd to play for.

Rumours now that he might be going to Vitesse. Think he prefers EPL loan, so would I, but Vitesse wouldn't be too bad either. Source - http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/transfer-rumours/130801/chelsea-starlet-set-loan-spell-holland-202867?

Sweet. One of my favorite features. Good job sir.

Still not 100% recovered by the sound of this, might not feature tonight.

Hate him? Why? Just cause he's not a good player is no reason to hate the dude. Unless, there's something else he's done which I'm not aware of.
-
Nah I think you're looking to deep into it. And other than the troll none is being unfair to Oscar. I think everyone is making good and fair points both for and against. It's been a perfectly healthy debate.
-
What you fail to understand is that Chelsea doesn't want to sell Luiz. If he was transfer listed and we were looking to sell him of course no one would reject 40M. If you don't want to or have to sell him then whatever is being quoted doesn't matter. Chelsea don't need the money.
-
Don't expect any of the confederations cup players to play much, possibly just a half.
-
Their stadium is close to Cobham and will be used for our youth reserve cup games. Good deal for both sides.
-
He's a nice little player and will have a decent future, but I haven't seen anything that gets me excited at all. The best prospect in our academy? No way. Boga, Loftus-Cheek, Christensen are all better prospects imo. Where does his future lie anyway? He plays CB for the youth/reserve teams but played DM for the first team. Imo, he should stick to CB. He has great technical ability and reads the game well. He's small for a CB right now, but he's only young so he has plenty time to bulk up.
-
The sole reason for this debate is simple - Oscar plays like a world-class talent for Brazil but hasn't shown that form in a Chelsea shirt yet, apart from a game here or there. So people who mainly watch Chelsea will def criticize him whereas those who have seen him perform for Brazil will defend him because regardless of competition for his place, he gets in that Brazil team because he really is one of their best players.

US is going to have EVERY single EPL match. All of them. Several live on TV and the rest live through the NBC app. Heaven!

Zabaletta also won for City last year. Maybe he means Fans' player of the year, which I can understand.

Mata is def better at the moment, but Hazard is more talented. It'll be close between them this season as I expect Hazard to improve. Mata had the better season without a doubt. On top form though, Hazard probably eclipsed Mata but it didn't happen often last season especially during mid-season when Hazard was distinctly average. This year, I expect more burden on Hazard and more consistent performances. That said, I personally think KDB is the most talented player in our team.
-
It's one thing being two footed and making great passes but this dude takes set pieces with both feet too. I find that amazing. Is there anyone in the world that does that?
-
Luiz was better than Hummels last season. Hummels had a very poor season last year. Just don't see the benefit in swapping Luiz for Hummels because as a defender it's not that big of a difference and secondly Luiz is so popular at the club. Furthermore, Dortmund won't sell Hummels either. It's another thing if you need the money for another position if you think there is a surplus at CB but to sell your best CB to finance a move for another CB makes no sense to me.
-
Hummels isn't available, and even so, he'll probably cost more. And, Luiz is better than Papdopoulos, so why not just keep Luiz and pay the 15m for Papadopoulos if you really do want him.

The article is posted in the Mata thread, and I replied to it as well: I hope Mata is ok playing RW for us. Several times he's mentioned how much he loves playing in that #10 role, especially after Rafa pushed him even higher up as a second striker almost. Now that Mou sounds like he will make him the first choice RW, it's def going to be a much more demanding position for him. He's not the sort to complain but you can also understand if he'll be grieved considering the monster of a season he had as the #10. Regardless, this should be in the Mata thread.

This has already been posted and is being discussed in the Mata thread.
