  1. Horrible decision for that pen. Won't see me complaining though.
  2. Except when Drogba's thread gets updated the discussion surrounds the current event whereas with this thread it always goes back to the same old shit that's already discussed 10 times. Has anyone actually discussed the goal he scored?
  3. Benteke just wanted to score a header. Sczensny please don't kill yourself.
  4. Yup, it's amazing. All the games, live in HD with DVR controls. No more illegal streams or paying other sites to watch PL games. NBC is amazing.
  5. No of course it doesn't. I can't believe I said that on a forum. I'm going to kill myself.
  6. Right, because I really want him to kill himself.
  7. I think Coutinho is fking awesome. He'll be a great player, should be part of Brazil's squad dunno why he isn't. Not gonna hate on him just cause he's direct competition to Oscar.
  8. Appreciate the under appreciated: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8EVOMXk-8M
  9. So you lot were against it when we signed Torres? When Carlo asked for Torres and the board obliged. You knew it would drive Sturridge out the team right?
  10. I don't understand how you turn this into Torres vs. Sturridge, clearly not understanding my point AT ALL. We're talking about why he was sold, not how good he was.
  11. So then complain about the managers, why would you criticize the board for selling him? They did the best they could have done in that scenario, that's my point. Complaining about why we sold him is stupid. You should instead complain RDM was the reason he left because he never gave him a chance.
  12. Yeah of course he would have stayed if he was getting his chance at striker, that's all he wanted. But you can't criticize the BOARD, they did the best they could have done in that situation.
  13. So you'd rather see him leave for free? Not sure what the alternative was since the managers were never playing as striker. I'm not arguing Sturridge's credentials as a striker but the actual situation he and we were in and that you'd be an idiot to actually think he would have stayed if we didnt sell him.
  14. None of the managers played him as striker so not sure what other scenario was ever going to happen. None of the managers seemed to rate him as a striker.
  15. No he's not really missing lol. "Moses I don't know, I saw him in the airport when we landed from the US, he played in South Africa, I don't know. I don't select him for Sunday. He came from United States, played in South Africa and arrived back on Friday." http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/3358692/title/mourinho-lots-to-look-forward-to
  16. What idiots don't understand about Sturridge is that we didn't let him go, we HAD to let him go. He wasn't going to be our striker which he wanted and his contract was up. So he was going to leave on a free at the end of the season. And, to actually get 12M for him was amazing. If anything they should be praised for getting 12M for a dude who barely played in the first half of the season and whose contract was up in 6 months.
  17. Liverpool attack looks really good. Great tempo and fluid build-up.
  18. I don't think a single person is even expecting him to be a leader. As far as Strootman goes, I haven't watched him enough except in the the U21 Euros and he didn't impress me much at all.
  19. No Moses, couldn't get back from international duty in time. "Moses, I don’t know where he is,” haha http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/london-chelsea-fc/2013/08/16/moses-missing-as-mourinho-ponders-chelsea-line-up-for-hull-82029-33737295/
  20. I really hope he does well. It'd be nice just to finally see a fresh face in the midfield. I had my doubts with him because the jump from the Eridivisie to PL is a huge one but his perfomance against Real was pleasantly surprising. Sure one match is never indicative of how he'll perform through the course of an entire season but it def got me excited about his role in the team.
  21. Fair enough. But the article was in context and twitter isn't. No doubt he's fit, but considering what he said a day ago I don't think he'll start.
  22. Shit! I saw an update in the thread and assumed he scored. How bad was the injury?
  23. The 22-year-old also said he felt welcomed and accepted by his team-mates, but when questioned whether he'd start in Chelsea's first game against Hull he said: "The full 90 minutes will be hard for me right now." http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/230341.html#Co2AwdJ5YOagd0Le.99
