  1. I also find it stupid that we can't even squeeze in one full training session between PL games. What's the point of having training at all then?
  2. Magistrate was a Spurs fan, so he had to give him 3 points.
  3. Ugh, I hate it when people call Azpi, Dave. Firstly, his last name is not hard to pronounce, it's pronounced exactly how it's spelled. Second, even if you don't want to use his last name, his first name is sexy as hell, Cesar! Fucking Cesar! Back on topic - Really am not able to judge who is the sexiest, but Mata is a lovely man. I want him to marry my sister.
  4. So Mou mentioned there is an agreement with United to not talk about Rooney. Why would Chelsea accept this agreement? What could United possibly offer in exchange that would entice Chelsea into accepting this agreement?
  5. So after reading the above articles, it's pretty obvious it's going to be a much tougher season for both Mata and Hazard. Mou will demand and expect a lot from them. Mata is first choice RW and will have to work hard on defense as well which will def be very demanding for him. Hazard will be first choice LW but with the added pressure of providing those big goals. He didn't specifically mention Oscar or KDB, but considering what he said about Mata and Hazard one can deduce that Oscar or KDB will be first choice CAM. I also think he really wants to keep Traore, and considering his love for left-footed RWs I bet he would have given him a lot of games too even if he's only 17. Mata - Oscar/KDB - Hazard ST
  6. I hope Mata is ok playing RW for us. Several times he's mentioned how much he loves playing in that #10 role, especially after Rafa pushed him even higher up as a second striker almost. Now that Mou sounds like he will make him the first choice RW, it's def going to be a much more demanding position for him. He's not the sort to complain but you can also understand if he'll be grieved considering the monster of a season he had as the #10.
  7. Def looks like Mou is going to be hard on Hazard and expect more goals from him. It'll be tough for him for sure because I don't think he's much of a goal-scorer at the moment. He def has to work hard in that department. Let's just hope he'll be able to rise to the challenge and put in the work.
  8. Of course he wont say no to a chance to work with Mourinho. However, before Mou came he himself said he wants another season loan before he comes back to Chelsea. And yes, he'll def learn from his mistakes, everyone does. But to what extent? Considering he's 4th choice and will probably only get every 6th or 7th game, he'll hardly have the consistent playing time to actually apply what he learns from one game to the next. It's just not an ideal scenario for his development imo.
  9. Zlatan hahaha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mq52iadgDc4
  10. Gundogan really is amazing. Robben was awesome too. It's only preseason though and Bayern were missing their best player. I still expect them to walk the Bundesliga.
  11. Anyone watching Real vs PSG? Wtf happened to Lavezzi? haha funniest stuff ever
  12. ..and the confidence. Those are some cracking goals there.
  13. It's not because of the friendlies though. Not sure if you didn't read my posts, but I've said it's too early for him even before preseason started.
  14. I support Chelsea. I also support the players. I'm thinking what's best for him and Chelsea in the long run. Thinking about the development of the player is also called supporting your players. Giving them the best opportunities to succeed is also called supporting your players. It's pathetic really that you are questioning my support for our players when everything I'm arguing has been solely focused on Kalas and his development and what's best for him. You're naive if you think Kalas can deal with the pressure and mistakes like Ivanovic can. It's one thing not being good enough, it's another when you know you're good enough but the moment has gotten the best of you and you aren't able to perform to your best. That's what ruins development of a young player, they start second guessing everything resulting in a complete demolition of any confidence they may have. I also don't care if he makes mistakes, I'm not going to ask for him to be sold if he does, because like I said, he has a great future ahead of him. But I'm thinking about him as well, and whether it's the best scenario for him to be 4th choice at Chelsea. For those who don't know, Kalas himself admitted to not being ready for Chelsea this year. It was Jose who has asked him to stay at Chelsea this year. That right there should be a red flag. Because Mou can provide him with as much confidence possible, every mistake he makes will be amplified in his head because at the back of his mind he himself doesn't believe he's ready. Like I said, it's too much pressure for a kid. I just don't see how valuable it will be for him to be our 4th choice CB.
  15. Right, because if Terry would have spent one year on loan he wouldn't have been the same Terry.
  16. That's true as well. But, I think Kalas is a great prospect and def has the potential to play for us, I just don't get what the rush is. I fear he'll have a season like Lukaku's first season where he'll train with the squad but barely get any playing time. Let's see how he does in the US tour and if he can eradicate the mistakes and put in decent performances then we can truly trust him as the 4th choice CB and keep him around because then he'll get enough time, but if he's going to be called the 4th choice CB but actually be behind even Ivanovic then he'll probably never get any games. In that case, we should loan him out.
  17. Dzeko and Negredo look so good at City. God, we really do need improve our striking department. Lukaku is the only guy that would fill me with any confidence and even he is still so young and inconsistent.
  18. Give me a break that we should blood in youngsters and live with the mistakes. This is Chelsea, the stakes are a little too high to be gambling 3 points for development of a kid. People want Luiz sold because he made a mistake, people would want the manager and the player out when Kalas makes a mistake. At smaller teams, if young CBs make mistakes resulting in goals, you may finish 10th instead of 8th but get a chance to develop him into a beast next season. That's fine. You do that at Chelsea, you drop from 1st to 2nd, that's the stupidest thing I've heard ever. Yeah, let's run Chelsea like Crewe is ran. I don't mind rushing a striker or mids, because they have a lot of help and others around them can pick up the slack, but a weak CB that doesn't provide a team with confidence is going to have a detrimental mental affect on the entire team. Last year, we gave up 2-0 leads for that very reason. The confidence within the team was shot, every player was expecting we would concede and that the defence isn't good enough. Playing 20 year olds who make mistakes isn't going to help, neither him nor us. Imo, CBs should never be rushed. Considering the stakes, you're putting so much pressure on them because they know one mistake will result in a goal. That's a little too much pressure for a 20 year old kid.
  19. Let's not suck too much Mourinho dick. We need Rooney, that's why we're after him, not cause of this so called psychological blow. Rooney on Chelsea is like a 10 times bigger blow than any psychological blow to United.
  20. That video doesn't prove anything. Free-kicks and corners are about good consistent deliveries, not once in a lifetime screamers. Regardless, he's got enough chances with Chelsea and hasn't shown much at all, especially on corners.
  21. He should stick to pens. Leave the free-kicks and corners to Mata and KDB.
  22. Nothing wrong with the own goal, but he got raped by the striker before the own goal. His back passes and utter lack of communication with Cech in the first game. Poor positioning for the headed goal conceded last game as well. He's been the poorest defender in Asia. Yes, we weren't tested enough, but whatever test he was faced with he made more than his fair share of mistakes. And, I'm in no way saying he isn't good enough or never will be. I just think he had a poor Asia tour.
  23. Not a good Asia tour for him. Maybe we should reconsider his as the 4th choice CB. I believe Omeruo is better. Kalas should get a PL loan I feel.
