He did say that, but he never played Mata at RW for even a second during preseason. In fact, I don't even think Oscar and Mata even played together. Both took turns playing the #10 position.

I'm confused. Why are people crying so much? Did you expect better and were disappointed hence the complaints? Or, are you pissed that some people praised a player you despise?

He was ok. I thought, Lamps, Oscar, Ramires, Terry all had better games than him. He wasn't bad but I think we all just expected more from him.

I actually think that's one of his strengths. I've seen him countless times looking across the line and successfully playing the offside trap. Does anyone have stats to check this? I'd be curious.

Palace is playing like idiots. I've counted at least 6 times they could have cross the ball into the box and they chose to go back to try and carve out a clear cut chance. You should know you're hardly going to get a clear cut chance so why would you not instead just pump the ball into the box and live off the scraps?
