Looked lethargic to me. Needs a rest. It's scary how big of a drop in quality there is between our starting pivot and the backup pivot.

We deserved to win. Draw isn't a bad result but when you work that hard and still fail to accomplish your objective, it def has a negative effect. I'm curious about the weekend match now, because I want to see how the players react. We work so hard with and without the ball, work so hard to create chances and we still don't put the ball in the back of the net, it is very very discouraging. Anfield is a pivotal match imo, it will show truly if we are champion calibre.

You could tell his off the ball movement was improving from the start of the season, you could see he was getting into a lot more goal scoring positions as well. He wasn't scoring, but I said at the time, he's getting in good positions, sooner or later he'll start scoring, but it's getting worrying now. If he was even marginally better at converting chances he'd be sitting on 10 goals by now. He's gotten better this year, he's our best player. If he wants to win team and individual trophies he's gotta start making it count. Tonight should have been an all-time performance by a player in a chelsea shirt, he did everything, he was amazing but he fucked up easy chances. I'm pissed for his sake more than Chelsea. We can recover, but if we truly want to win the big trophies, we need him. Rant over. Come on Eden!

He didn't lack workrate. People who say he doesn't work hard think working hard equals good defence. Jose doesn't care if you run 15km or 10km, if you do your job you're good enough to rely on. KDB worked hard but his actuall defending was horrible, players could easily get past him, he couldn't tackle or even press properly, he just lacked any defensive technical abilities and awareness. Hazard was the same when he first joined, dude was just clueless what to do when opposition had the ball. He wasn't lazy, he just didn't know what to do and where to go when defending. He's gotten so much better now, so much so that I would say he's not a liability at all on defence. Sure, KDB could have gotten there eventually but neither he or Jose seemed to have the patience to make it happen. I'm a huge KDB fan, loved the guy and was hoping he'd become first choice with us but he disappointed me tbh. Didn't take his chances whenever he got them and I'm sad he left, however I think he made a good decision for himself and I know we got decent money for him too but I'd rather he stayed and continued to fight even if had cost him a year or so on the bench just learning the tactical side of the game.

He's playing consistently with the U21, U19 teams. He's doing fine, no stalling or anything.
-
Agree. Def the best 1 on 1 defender imo. He has this ability of keeping his torso upright while swiveling his lower body which means he's never off-balance. hahaha that makes no sense, but it honestly seems that way
-
He can't put in a shift like Willian but since when is that the only requirement for a winger? Sterling is an absolute monster imo. He's too young to be relied upon, no way he can play 60 matches at this age, but there's no denying his ability. Dude is def more influential than all our attacking mids other than Hazard imo.
-
I think if the CAM is being flanked by Ronaldo and Bale, I too would prefer James instead of Hazard simply because you want your CAM in that situation to be playing passes and through balls exclusively instead of dribbling to destabilize opponents. That said, if we're just talking about the players then I think Hazard is a better player than James.
-
Easy, watch any Chelsea match.

We dominated them until they scored after a few lucky bounces. And then resumed dominating them. I have no problems with the performance, just hope we start scoring the 2nd and 3rd goal when we are dominating so much. I also thought our pressing today was probably the best it's ever looked. We were crowding and overpowering and winning everything in the middle of the pitch. That performance deserved 3-4 goals, I really did think we were very good. And, Oscar, what a goal! What a goal!!!

Is SP streams working for you guys? I'm without an HD stream now
-
By some margin too. Nice!
-
Def United win. Would be amazing if that happens and we beat QPR.
-
Yeah, I really rate Boateng. He's been amazing for a while now, def the best CB in the world on current form imo. There is no way Bayern will part ways with him though.
-
I also think Willian is a great CAM. But because we have no other really good attacking mid, he's the one who has to play RW.
-
Decent performance. He has the technique, workrate and isn't afraid to put a foot in. No glaring weakness other than size possibly but he's still growing. Pretty confident he'll cement himself as a squad player by the end of the season.

Anyone know who will be the referee in charge?

This shit comes up every few weeks. It's the same shit over and over again. How about we actually discuss the performances of the youth players who did get a chance instead? Why didn't Baker get a chance, why didn't Boga get a chance? Ake is getting chances, Christensen got a full 90, Solanke has gotten a chance. Is it that hard to see that it's getting better for the young guys? We wanted improvements to youth integration and we're getting it so far. Now if some have no patience then you can cry about it as much as you want. This isn't aimed at anyone in specific. I'm just sick of reading the same shit over and over again.
-
2nd choice now.
-
Yeah I thought he would have got a prem loan at least after his performance against Liverpool. Not sure why he didn't.
-
I sold Kike in my Fifa save. Bamford ripping it. Karanka should follow suit.
-
Dude should move to Spain or Netherlands permanently. He could fit in those leagues. He'll never make it in England considering he has such a frail frame. Hell he could even become a decent player there cause he has skills no doubt.
-
Recall him in Jan, send him to Vitesse. I said it last year that it was a mistake calling him back. CBs should never be part of the squad if you won't trust them against the top teams. It's the hardest position to develop in house, especially for a team like Chelsea. All they can hope for is capital one cup games. Even a team like Koln doesn't want to disturb their CB pairing.
-
James had a great world cup. But it's so unfair to guys like Silva, Suarez that they miss out. Goetze same thing. He's a good player but he wasn't a pivotal player for Bayern or Germany. World cup performances hold too much weight imo.
-
I've felt like punching every single one on that list. Sure, some are idiots but bad refereeing performances are becoming so common, you have to consider that maybe they need some help? How about adding another official? How about adding an official who is watching on TV behind the scenes.
