  1. Schurrle is a nice player. But imo Salah has a higher ceiling. If I had to pick one to persevere with, I'd pick Salah.
  2. Thibaut is an impressive man. Just 22 years old, yet plays and conducts himself like a 30 year old seasoned professional.
  3. Has anyone actually watched the dude consistently? I would love to hear from someone who watched him last season specifically. I can't really trust anything that's been written so far because seems everyone is just looking at his stats.
  4. Keep a clean sheet. That'd be good enough. I see Hazard tearing em apart. Not sure how Henderson is going to deal with him.
  5. Well Bellerin is shutting me up. Been great so far. So has Cazorla, looking very very good. Gotta say though Ramsey's drop in form has been crazy. Looking nothing like the player he was last season.
  6. No way Arsenal get anything today after looking at this lineups. Bellerin will get destroyed.
  7. He needed to have this performance to make up for the Newcastle performance. Just wish for more consistency from him.
  8. He's big and fast but comes off as a massive pussy. I swear, dude falls down everytime he makes contact with another player.
  9. City was at their best when they played with 2 strikers. Jovetic and Dzeko haven't really been amazing this year. I'm sure Bony and Aguero will be the partnership going forward. Good signing imo. 26M for the leading goal scorer in the PL in 2014. And he's still young. Def not a bad deal.
  10. Meh I'm in the minority I guess, I like Koke more than Pogba.
  11. Yup spot on. Cahill backs off cause that's how he defends. I believe Zouma only backed off because he's probably not 100% confident yet to be aggressive in a completely new league against teams and players he doesn't know. You could already see his confidence improve in the second half. So like you said, nothing to worry about.
  12. They shouldn't release the votes. That's when you'd get proper unbiased results. You got professional coaches and players voting for their club and international friends. What's the point? When there is a clear conflict of interest, you usually chose other options to make a decision. Unbelievably stupid.
  13. Nice goal and and an unreal assist but the rest of his play was so poor. Dude looked like a shittier Ramires out there. Yeah he got us by Newcastle but this kind of performances could cost us against the top teams.
  14. Got embarrassed a couple times today. Cabella and Sissoko got by him with ease.
  15. Surprised Yokohama isn't so popular. Maybe not so much in Europe. I like it.
  16. So it's clear now. He signed the contract with City and not New York. Lampard saying he signed with New York but City extended it makes no sense unless the contract was with City in the first place. Lampard and City straight up lied.
  17. Unless a much better player is attainable then sell him, otherwise wait till the summer.
  18. I'm guessing it's Hazard's contract extension. Nothing else seems likely that would be considered "big".
  19. You're right. Not denying any of that. But it's still not enough to say he's going to sign for us. But like someone else posted. I'm just trying to keep myself in check because it's almost too good to be true that we could actually sign Messi. Hell I'd probably keep dismissing all the news until I actually see him holding the shirt.
  20. If Messi really is furious and wants to leave, there are better ways to do that, than following Chelsea on Twitter. This seems like it's a warning shot to Barca, but something so minor that he won't really have to answer to it at all. Barca: Messi we're sorry, we'll do what you want. Don't leave us. Messi: when did I ask to leave? Barca: you didn't but... Twitter... Nvm that's stupid.
  21. Following someone on Twitter doesn't mean shit.
  22. Nice! Willian with a screamer apparently.
  23. The problem is simple and I've mentioned this before. Our CBs can't defend proactively. People talk shit about Kompany and Koscielny is because they make some mistakes, but more often than not they make the tackles themselves instead of asking their midfielders. Really wish we had got Benatia, he's amazing at that imo. Proactive defending.
