We scored 3 goals in an away game. Probably should have scored at least 1 or 2 more. We were fine offensively, it's the defense that let us down this time.
-
He was just amazing! I have never seen this fight in him before. He was jumping a foot higher than he ever had, won headers, did everything he could do to bail out our defence. Almost did it too, if the defence was even marginally good we would have won.
-
Hazard has been unreal, dare I say one of his best performances in a Chelsea shirt. The back 4, Cahill in particular let us down. Oh well, bad day, move on.
-
Put on Drogba and Remy, go all out for it. Let's win 4-3 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Back 4 def not up for it. Horrible performance by everyone in the back 4.

Similar to several of you, Wiziwig was my go to site for live streams as well. It's down now so I did some research to find good alternatives and these are the 3 best I found: http://www.vipleague.se/ http://www.ronaldo7.net/video/soccer-live.html http://www.footballstreaming.info/streams/todays-links/

He's indirectly saying he'd rather City win the title than Chelsea. A Chelsea legend wouldn't be saying that. Very disappointing.
-
He is lacking an aerial presence though, that's his biggest weakness imo. He's very poor in the air considering his size and physicality. He's decent with his head in the penalty box but not outside it, very rarely does he win any long balls.
-
Don't agree at all. His hold up and link up play is good enough. He had a spell when he was poor when he was off form, but other than that he's been perfectly fine. Is he best in the league at holding up the ball and linking up? No, but he's not bad either. There are very few strikers who won't get dispossessed at least a couple times every game. Lone striker in the most congested area of the pitch, it's impossible to be able to keep the ball everytime he gets it. Seems you've formed an opinion about him after a couple bad matches. His link up play against West Ham was amazing, absolutely top notch. What did you think of his overall performance in that match? He's been closer to that type of performance more so than the opposite this season.
-
Lol what? Explain please.
-
Bamford has been scoring loads in the Championship but is his all around game up to par for Chelsea? I only hear when he scores, but never get a chance to watch the dude.
-
I don't mind selling him. While he's a decent player, I don't see how he'll ever be good as any of our current starting AMs. He won't even get close to De Bruyne who never got a chance here either. I rather we get Boga in the team eventually than Thorgan.
-
I don't agree that all he has is pace. He's got great dribbling and ball control and his vision is underrated. He's great at spotting a pass. But the problem is at the end of the day he he no end product right now. I def like his playing style but if he can't add goals to his game, he'll have a hard time. Everytime he plays he gets into great positions but fucks it up. If you don't have end product, you're not getting in ahead of Willian who is the greatest AM is the world without an end product.
-
His problem is simple, he has a weakness which will never gel with Chelsea. Dribbling & ball control. He's the Torres of our AMs. Sure he's useful in some matches, but our playing style is largely based on possession now and he'll never fit in that kind of playing style. That said, nothing wrong with keeping in the squad but he'll have a hard time getting regular playing time here as long as he stays. The only time we don't play possession is probably against 2-3 teams in all of Europe and even then I doubt Jose would trust him to do his job over a guy like Willian. Jose said Schurrle would be nice against Southampton but we dominated possession against them too.
-
Think it'll be Bayern as a Ribery replacement. Seems the obvious choice. After that, it could be any one of us, City or United.
-
Spurs press high up the pitch. I'd try and play Drogba and Diego together. Launch balls up to Drogba and play off the knockdowns. Costa is a beast, but he's not even on the same planet as Drogba when it comes to aerial ability.
-
Jose going in on the media. What a beast! Loving it. Getting angrier and angrier as the post-match interviews come along. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YggWIUcZa0
-
Will be very tough. Along with the next one too. It's almost unfair to ask the players to play so many matches in such a short period.
-
Goodbye Torres! Nice guy but a shite footballer now unfortunately. I still remember the moment when his transfer was confirmed and how excited I was, but alas it never panned out for him. Hopefully, he finds some success in Athletico.
-
I don't think Costa expected Ivanovic would find him with that cross lol. He was probably thinking, this dude messed up an easy 10 yard cut back, like hell he's going to find me here. Next thing you know, perfect cross lol.
-
QPR are pathetic. Seems like they had no idea what to do once the onus was on them to do anything during the match. The only gameplan was to give it to Hoilett, who did win a pen but then immediately went back to looking like the worst footballer on the planet. He overhit like 5-6 easy crosses from the wing, and the rest of them passed the ball out of bounds like 10 times trying to play "football" Embarrassing display against 10 men tbh.
-
What did I say? People love to bitch and moan, the first chance they get. Some marvellous link up play today.
-
Completely agree here. I can count 20 instances where I thought he would go off based on what I had heard about him, but you're absolutely right, he seems in absolute control of his emotions. Knows exactly what he can and can't get away with. The few yellows he has gotten, you could argue were probably because of his reputation and not really yellows when you compare to what others get away with on a weekly basis.
-
Game is opening up a bit, get Schurrle or Oscar on!
-
We are tiring. Need a goal quick.
