Agreed. I actually want him to start behind the striker against Bayern because he can DESTROY that backline with his dribbling. Mata can still be influential on the left wing. We can't be going to Bayern trying to park the bus and play on the counter, rather hit em hard and early. We should be trying to exploit their weakness first rather than trying nullify their strengths first and hope to get a goal on a counter. It's the CL final, you play to win.

You can't play Ramires in the midfield pivot. I don't know why people think he's an option there. Either you play him as a right sided midfielder (in a 4-3-3) or on the wings (in a 4-2-3-1).

Since Bayern will be playing a make-shift defence, we must go for the jugular. Start Sturridge? Kalou has to play on the right cause we have Bos at RB. Cole will keep Robben in his pocket, I have no doubt about that. We could play Sturridge on the left and Mata in the middle, but Sturridge is useless on the wing and Mata can still play great there. Sturridge is only useful in the center and we should play him there as he and Kalou are the only ones that will actually run at their defence. Kalou isn't reliable against anyone but Sturridge can potentially rape the Bayern central pairing with ease. Just my two cents, what do you guys think? We need Cahill more than Luiz for this one, his dominance on aerial battles is key since they are going to send in beast crosses to Gomez. Cole will handle Robben by himself, so I'm not worried about that.

Bertrand's votes are for people who didn't want to vote for Torres. No one else other than Torres deserves a vote, but the next best thing is to give the young guy some votes of confidence.

One good thing from this game was that Torres kept his form and had a good showing. Although he's been pretty good for a while now, there was always that doubt in my mind that he'll go back to the old Torres, but he was great today.
