I know exactly what you guys mean. But I made that analysis, considering we don't get that much money to spend cause most likely we don't finish in CL spots.. If it was up to me and not worrying about money. I would bring in the following: Hoilett for sure! 2 of the following midfielders: Luka Modric Yohan Cabaye Axel Witsel Joao Moutinho Javi Martinez Nuri Sahin Ever Banega 2 of the following wingers/attackers: Eden Hazard Ezequiel Lavezzi Stevan Jovetic Hulk Iker Munian Ibrahim Affelay 1 of these strikers: Cavani Falcao

I know what you mean as far as the midfield creativity. Since, I was going for a very reasonable transfer spend, I didn't want to include Modric even though I really wanted to. The reason being, if he have quality at the wide positions, that will open up the midfield considerably for our midfielders and they can be very effective. Tiote isn't the best passer but Romeu is a good one and I think he can consistently feed our wide men and Mata, then from there on Mata and the wingers can create goal-scoring opportunities. You have to look at Man U for that, not the best midfield but their wide men are so good that they can still create numerous chances. As far as Striker goes, I think if our build-up play improves I think Torres and Sturridge will be good enough there. Again gamble, but my aim was to have an overhaul in the most efficient way possible, cause I'm assuming we'll miss CL spot this year.
-
I also wanted to add a CM, like Modric, but against I wanted to keep the net transfer spend a very reasonable amount. I think if our width is taken care of with those wide players, then even the mid I have up there would get enough room to operate and be very effective.

It seems I'm the only one not too fond of the gold one. I want the gold, but that metallic gold is just so dull, why not something brighter, like the shade Real has. That said, it might look a completely different shade in real life. Pictures of metallic colours are often deceptive on a computer screen.

May I change my username to Bir_CFC? Thanks.

Those goal-line assistants are only there for what their name states. They cannot help with anything else on the field. Stupid, but that's how it is. At least I think so, cause I've never seen any of them be involved in anything yet.
-
Let's be honest, 4th is gone. CL will be a miracle. FA Cup in the only realistic chance of any silverware this year. I say make this priority number 1 and at least get 1 trophy.
-
Whatever. Let's be real, on the performances we've seen even if we won today it was just postponing the inevitable. We were never going to get that 4th spot.

From Daily Mail: For the record Murphy doesn't touch Kalou but there doesn't have to be contact for a foul to be given. The forward had to take evasive action from what would have been a clumsy challenge and that is enough.
-
Why not? You sure forgot the rest of his career.

YESSS!! YES SON YES SON YES SON!! Hold on!!!
-
Naah. Won't say that was his fault. He played good defence ans was right on him and forced him into 2 other Chelsea players. Sometimes you just gotta tip your hat and say good fucking goal.

Another sub par game for Kakuta, but really all of Dijon was utter crap today. Really poor performance by the whole team. Kakuta was on his own a lot really, and had like 3 defenders on him whenever he got the ball. They should play him behind the striker instead of Corgnet, who is laughably bad. Also since Bautehac is their best player, alot of their attacks go down the left flank so Kakuta goes a lot of stretches in the game without even getting the ball. He needs to work on his crosses though, considering he's playing wide, his crossing has to improve, it's really poor.
-
Also, Essien is just horrible. Mikel was on for 2 minutes and he was 100 times better. So many times I saw Essien just give up, just flat-out give up trying to win the ball back. Meireles had to work for 2 today. Essien is clearly mailing it in now.

Give me a break with this shit that Wigan deserved a draw. They had great build-up play but had like 1 decent shot on goal and scored from it. We had so many clear cut chances and should have scored a bunch more. Just cause you can pass it around more doesnt mean you deserve a draw. They didn't create jack shit, whereas we created numerous clear as day chances. It wasn't pretty but we deserved to win this shit for sure. Tony Gale can suck my dick.

WOW! I don't think I've done anything 550 times except breathing and masturbation.
-
Yeah, I think he's been great. Think we made a great purchase. Not only is he a good defender, he's shown he has great determination and passion. Not easy to find, especially when you consider he came from a club who were constantly loosing and in the relegation zone.
-
Of course they will dive against us. But because Gaitan played against us and dived, I hated him for diving, just like almost every Chelsea fan did while watching, so Di Maria wins by default. Regardless, I think I'm just trying to make a discussion out of nothing cause I'm bored at work haha. I'm sure if we do end up getting Gaitan, I'll have forgotten all about his diving lol.
-
Never said I want players to dive. I said I prefer Di Maria over Gaitan cause even though they both dive, Di Maria hasn't dived against Chelsea to invoke that emotion of hate from me. I don't condone that he dive all over the place, but I could care less if he dives against Barca. But if he dives against Chelsea, you're goddamn right I'd want to punch him in the balls.
-
Great player, but it's hard for me like him after all that diving. Really started disliking him as a player due to the diving, so of course I wouldn't want him at Chelsea. Rather have Di Maria or Hazard. Of course Di Maria dives too, but he didn't dive against Chelsea yet, so I got no reason to hate him...yet.

That 9gag wasn't funny at all. Excuse me, if you're going to publish a joke like that, then it has to be funny, there is absolutely no excuse, none what so ever. It has to be fucking funny.

Amazing goal by Meireles. But not a good performance tbh. Oh well, delighted to be in the semis though.
-
Yeah, maybe Torres should have scored but why would you go on and on about that chance, especially considering he scored another late on and had 2 assists that game. Seems weird, there were more positives than negatives in that game and yet you choose to focus on the negative. Everyone misses chances, doesn't make sense to throw the guy under the bus if he missed one that game. Especially considering he redeemed himself after.
