  1. I want whoever is playing for us in each match to play well and make us win. I can't say I care too much which striker is scoring the goals, as long as someone is!
  2. What I mean by that is, Sheva has shown us more than Pizarro, so based off that, he's the better option. Maybe it's the other way around today, but I don't know that because I haven't seen either play in over a year! And I don't think Paulo was better 3 seasons ago than Bosingwa was last season.
  3. - Lampard - Yes - Yes - Yes - I think we've paid too much money for him for him to do anything that is surprising.

  5. What I think Terminator X is trying to say in his very obtuse way is that Joe Cole does not have leadership qualities even if he has supported the club since childhood and has been with us for so long and is a modern legend. To lead such a special club you need a special leader, and Joe Cole is not it, great though he is at what he does.
  6. I would say keep Sheva, he's in the past been a better player than Pizarro.
  7. Greatest Midfielder for sure. Still think Zola and Osgood must pip him as forwards though.
  8. Welcome to TalkChelsea Nicola, stick around
  9. Might be because some of your posts have been deleted? Great work Jim. Love the background especially.
  10. I'm not certain, but I think in Russian "zh" is pronounced the same as the French "j"
  11. Ballack or Drogba. Essien has an amazing work ethic, but I don't think that necessarily makes him a good captain.

  13. Yes we did. yes we did. So do City, so do City, and that's down to personal opinion.
  14. I like scotch scotchy scotchy scotch down into my belly mmm mmm mmm
  15. Chelsea first for me. I do root for England whenever they are playing, but I don't invest as much heart into it.
  16. There is a chance yes, however actually I doubt it. There has been so much focus on him at this young age that someone would've worked it out by now.
  17. I wouldn't have thought Mellis was anywhere near ready enough to be considered part of the squad. I'd say he needs a years loan with view to getting some chances next season. As for Hutchinson, in age he is at the time now where he should be getting chances, but obviously he had a big injury last year so that may have set him back.
  18. I think youngsters need to be given more chances, but Mikel came in like he was an experienced European footballer, he was absolutely special in that respect and its so easy to forget how young he is. Then again, he might be in his mid-20s and lying about his age like is alleged with many Nigerian players
  19. Have to say I don't think he will ever have the sort of charisma required for a captaincy role, but he has already shown himself to be a fantastic player over a long period of time.
  20. For me we have one too many strikers, and Scott Sinclair is never going to get into this team with Malouda and Zhirkov also in his position. Mancienne has a good chance though. If we get rid of Pizarro and/or Shevchenko, then Sturridge and Di Santo will get look-ins, but for me I think we should keep one experienced back-up for striker. As such, we could do with getting rid of one forward, but that's all I'd change, except for maybe letting Sinclair go somewhere where he will play.
