Definitely. I like to think when Oscar is Mata's age he will comfortably be the better player because it means he will have fulfilled his potential. I like Mata, he's a great little player but Oscar looks special. I much preferred Mata drifting inside as opposed to it being his starting position.

Demba was terrific yesterday against a very organised team that has caused problems for a number of teams this season. I remember when we played West Brom away and Torres was absolutely dire in that game. The difference in quality between the two is mahoosive.

That video shows just how much weight he has lost. Look at how big he is in the pre-season games in America compared to his size now, he was at least 2 stones heavier. He needs to stay light on his feet and try to be as mobile and agile as possible. He was practically overweight then compared to the size he is now.

I think that has a lot to do with his personality. He seems a bit shy and laid back. There are lots of players like that who are technically good but lack other intangibles.

Benitez plan was to find a way back into football at the highest level. He thought he would win a few trophies and make it a permanent job or at the very least enhance his reputation enough to get a decent job elsewhere in the summer. It doesn't look good on both fronts.

I am loving every second of this but not because I hate Benitez that much. No, this club deserves to be mired in shit because of the way it's run and the way the people at the top behave. All the issues we're having right now is their comeuppance and missing on top 4 would really be the cherry on top. Bertrand is a dependable squad player but unlikely to be much more. In Shaw you have potentially a very, very good player who could go on to be one of the best 2-3 leftbacks in World football. Bertrand doesn't have the same potential, there's nothing wrong in admitting that.
