  1. I really really hope he keeps banging them through preseason. He has done really well in today's game and I'm bloody happy for it. If he keeps doing well, he may convince the club to stick up with Danny, FT and him for the upcoming season. We can make him out to be legend at CFC. He has the true love for the club and wants to give it all. His dream is probably to spend his career here and offer everything he has to the fans. And guess what? He has the tools to do it. His mentality is top notch and even mediocre footballers can archive a lot with the right mentality. Let's not overrate him though like we know to do, this was only a 1st preseason game. Let's keep it together and follow his progress. So far so good
  2. Just watched the game and enjoyed it! Missed watching Chelsea so much Can't bloody believe it...I was watching Chelsea and saw our players dribble, explode with pace, exchange fast 1-2s, cut inside and shoot...imagine seeing Malouda and Kalou on the wings again? Some defensive mistakes, but fuck that, we have one of the best defenses in the world so nothing to worry about there. The key point for Robbie to solve is the central midfield at the moment. We haven't looked solid there until Lamps and Essien were brought in and not looking solid there exposes us a lot on counters. If, which I believe we will, sort our the fast transition from midfield to attacking areas we could have a wonderful attacking team opposition will be shitting their pants from. Add to that a dangerous in form striker and you get this week and week out Hazard is fucking quality. You can just see it, he is class above others. Everything seems to easy and fluid and what I really like about him is that he just keeps running and pushing through. Marin did really well also and having a player with his pace and dribbling ability will definitely be a massive asset. Other then them, others did well, some more, some less but in the end, we won, calmed the game in 2nd half and got through without injuries. Glad to see Lukaku score 2 goals also so easily. If he keeps banging them through preseason he could convince Robbie to give him chances in the PL rather then going out on loan. Exciting times ahead and can't wait to see us play again! Oh, and the famous picture again for our kits. Whoever designed it deserves the fucking world!
  3. Ivanovic's buttocks! You've finally you decided to change your avatar...Ramires FTW
  4. As I said, I feel you bro! JUSTICE FOR AUSTRALIA!
  5. We play this game at 03:30 on my timezone...I feel you Australians!
  6. Haha I hope it happens, it would be awesome to see Pippo in PL
  7. YES! Fucking love my Russian brothers from Gazprom. And yeah, FFP
  8. Imagine him running like towards Villas Boas in our sexy shirt after scoring a match winner
  9. I am not for putting faith in Torres now when Didier has left. He still hasn't convinced me and to be honest I am sick of all the talk around him. Whenever he is on the pitch I'm wondering will he score...gets on my tits really. I'm all for Cavani, brilliant player and among the best strikers in the world. 35m is a decent fee.
  10. Torres' inclusion there isn't that bad. He scored 3 goals and had 4 assist. In the knockout stages he was good and hasn't actually had a bad performance. Obviously, he hasn't been up to his level, but some people make it like UEFA has included Heskey, not a Champions League winner.
  11. Clubs can't guarantee a youngster a starting place when they are taking him on loan. You just don't put all that faith into a 18 year old kid in the strongest league in the world. If Lukaku impresses them on training and when he gets his chance more chances will come. He keeps doing well he'll get to a starting position. That's the way it works. It's a great thing that Fulham doesn't have someone like Zamora anymore so there is definitely space for Romelu there. I would fully expect him to break through.
  12. Sell Torres for 50 million and put out a few more for Cavani
  13. So...we have Mata who prefers to play behind a striker. We have Hazard who prefers that too and now we've signed a 25million young player from Brazil who...guess what...likes to play there. Oh, and KDB also prefers playing there and Benayoun is back from his loan. Funny, a season ago we were crying for players like that, and now lots of people are crying because we have too much of 'em. Anyway, I'm sure Oscar was brought here for a good reason. I don't what is RDM's future vision of Chelsea's formation and philosophy, but we will see that really soon. Perhaps Robbie wants to put Eden,Juan and Oscar behind Torres or perhaps he wants to use him as a backup or convert him to a midfielder... I really hope though that we didn't just spend 25million to have the lad sit on the bench. 25mil is quite a bit of money, but then again, if we let him stay at Brazil his price would rise and perhaps we were in danger of losing him to another club. I like him and his style of play though, let's see what happens.
  14. I am still not convinced with Torres but it is evident that the club has decided to give him 1 more season to prove what he can do. We also have Sturridge and Lukaku competing for striker position and I can't see any Drogba replacements coming in at the moment. At the moment, our right wing doesn't have a player which prefers to play there. Malouda is on the exit doors, Marin will needs time to adapt and hasn't been really impressive at Werder for some time while Mata and Hazard will occupy the left and central attacking positions. KDB may go out on loan, but even if he stays, he prefers to play in the middle and on the left. From here, you can see that we could really use a player who can cause havoc on the right wing and for the reasons I wrote couple of posts back, Hulk is the best player for that. He is expensive, but we are rich and the transfer is dragging on since the club is not letting Porto milk us anymore while they are playing hardball. Remember what happened when we signed David Luiz. At a certain point it looked we turned away and negotiations broke down, but in the end Benfica had to lower their price and we signed him. Read this.
  15. That was bloody brilliant Greg, great idea mate and it looked really professional!
  16. Wouldn't be surprised if we signed him. There has been contact in January and lots of papers reported that we will be back for him. Wouldn't be my preferred pick, even though he is a good player.
  17. For one, even if we tried to bring him here, I don't think he would want to join or that Arse would sell him for something reasonable. That aside, yes the season behind him is spectacular. Seasons before that? Not so much. He will be 29 when the new season starts. With his injury record that doesn't sound convincing. We would be stuck with an injury prone player on high wages that would give us 1 or 2 good years if he stayed fit. Van Persie is a striker. Yes, he can play on the wing, but it's stupid bringing a striker to play on the wing position with what I mentioned above. Hulk would bring a new dimension into our team. Van Persie would just score goals and give Eva more work.
  18. Kieran mate I was joking! I'm not into that stuff!
