I'm a big fan of Ivanovic, and obviously from my avatar and flag you know I'm telling the truth, but I'm surprised with how much Mourinho rates him. For 2 seasons now he has been a bit above average. Not bad or anything, but not worth Jose's infinite amount of love imho. I can understand his loss of top performance though, I can't remember when he has missed more then 2 games unless he was suspended or left to rest. Not a lot of players can hold that consistency. Hopefully he can finally get a full rest and have a better season ahead. That said, Jose gave him full freedom on the wing (considering Willian usually goes centrally) , and taking that into view, he actually does well in defense when I take into view how much forward he goes. Still crazy through to have a centre back turned right back turned into right scoring full back xD Azpi our best rb/lb for me. Sad to not see him on right.

If he was to leave I'm fairly sure we will sign Schneiderlin or Gustavo which would be an improvement anyway.

I'm not saying he was injured all the time, but there were 2 times, once when Costa was injured and the second when Costa was suspended I believe, where Remy got the golden chance to shine and he couldn't play in neither run of games. I agree, not only he played well, but did much better then I expected. Great player.

I do agree that he doesn't shine with this world class aura despite performing really well, but the real reason why he is considered second choice to Costa is because when Costa couldn't play for a few games and Remy was supposed to come in and prove Jose need the real deal he usually got injured I really like the lad though, definitely want him to stay.

Jose criticizing him can only mean a good thing, and that is that Jose feels RLC is part of the first team, and as such he needs to work his socks off whenever he's on the pitch. If RLC can't understand that then he simply won't cut it here. If he does understand, he will bounce back and fight good way back into the light. The moment Jose starts not to care about RLC's work rate or some other aspect of his game is the moment he needs to be afraid for his career here. I know a certain Belgian who got criticized for not working hard enough, but he's doing pretty fine now though

If we are talking of 200k per week Falcao at Chelsea then we are not talking. But if we are talking of 80-100k per week striker who just a few seasons ago was one of the best number nines, then why the hell not? Besides Benteke I really don't see other available strikers to replace Drogba. He would also be a good company to Cuadrado. And don't give the youth talk here, Solanke, Brown and Bamford aren't ready for Chelsea yet and Falcao on loan here would actually help them since it's a loan not a transfer. Better to see them on loan and return next season then to see them SIT on the bench through the upcoming season.
