Very True , its been a while since a final group game has ment so much. not 100% confident Valencia are playing well and Soloado is a handfull.

Obviously there must be somthing missing with Gael , this is now 4 managers who dont want to play him we had high hopes for this guy maybe he wont live up to the expectations , such a shame. though he couldnt be any worse than Malouda right now.

His problem was he was a yes man , which Roman wanted , roman wanted to squeeze the most out of this team we had without having to spend and refresh as Carlo would have done given the oppurtunity. winning the double coverd the cracks which roman wanted , so creid to Carlo for getting them to play in a way that they won the double , but last season we saw it was time that the cracks started to show. Maybe Carlo should not have been sacked and had been allowed to rebuild this team himself. But Roman picked a younger manager with fresh ideas to do that. We just need to wait and see.

Bit unfair , i would love to donate this month , but i have just moved house and have a mortgage to pay. not everyone has the spare cash at the moment. Back to the game , we really need a win on this one but i dont see anything better than a draw , i expect a danny , drogba , mata frontline and please put some effort in

Its a shame really i cant see were our next great striker will come from , i know we have Danny whos is a beast at the moment but i dont think AVB has faith in him to be the main man.

Good post , we have left it to late and now we are seeing the effects of piss poor club management , this needed to be addressed seasons ago but never was. We cannot make dramtic changes in Jan , especially with desperate inflated prices. i think if we can get a right winger in jan that will do , then danny can lead the line.

Yep guarenteed we dont have much sucess when it comes to big name signings , if we had signed him when he joined liverpool from Athletico he would of been great for us , we need to start signing player earlier and not after they have had there best years. Its a shame i wasnt someone who wanted him here we could have spent that sort of money on aguero but i wanted him to suceed. so i wish him luck in the furture if we do sell him i am now convinced he will leave sooner rather than later but i hope he proves us all wrong.

Getting used to these losses , somthing needs to be done Luiz descion making us apualing at the moment. Also what is it with losing to Liverpool , we couldnt beat them last season with Carlo and this season with AVB maybe Steve Clarke knows us to much..

Terry just needs to be rested more , if you think how many times he has played through all these injurys it has got to take its toll eventually. Give him some games off and he will be fresh when it matters , i do think once thise Rasicim thing is over it will help him concentate.

I dont think anyone is doubting Drogba's contribution over the years , he has been a great servent to the club , but with his age its about time someone else took over.

I think most our fans appreicate what Drogba has done , i definatly do he has been my faviourte player over the last 8 seasons he has been here. The thing is there is a high chance he wont be here next year and if Torres is ? surely we need to play him to get used to our style and tactics moving forward. If Drogba was 27 as well i would stick with him as i think he is a better player on his day but he is not he is 33 and most likely in his last season with us. we need to look at who will lead the line for the next few years and if its not Torres its time to ship him out and either give Danny a try or find someone else who is.
