I have never been the biggest torres fan. So don't get me wrong I would rather have danny as our main man anyday of the week. He is English and young and as long as he is matured the right way he will be a fantastic asset to this club. Though what my original post was about was the fact he said only white fans gave torres the suppoet after being shite for ages. I'm a white fan and my favourte players over the few years had been jimmy drogba and essien. And now Mata and danny. So skin colour does no matter. Why spend 50 mill on a player for one season ?

Bit unfair. I love drogba and I'm white. The reason people want torres to play is because drogba is 34. He is not going to be here much longer. If were going to keep torres surely he must play so we can get him used to the system for years to come?

Never really bin a fan , most likely because i spent so much time hating him at the bin dippers , but he plays for us now so i support him and i am warming to him a few more goals may help

good point , we contantly talk about our defensive frailties but , we need a confident striker we only have danny doing the buisness at the moment maybe we should go for gomez or even Soldado , i know there not names that will get us excited but they seem efficient and thats what we need.

Exaclty , Augero Dezeko ,Nasri , all brought in with the shekis millions. I do agree that we dont give our youngsters a chance and were now becoming more like AC milan were we keep star names well past there sell by date,

Yep we need a new squad of hungry players who want to win somthing for example at 34 what else does Drogba need to achive ? we need players who want success.

I agree with Mikel he has had his time to show what he can do and hasn't as for Essien i think he needs to come back into the team first because if he can shake off these injurys and return to some form he is a great asset.

People like Jose are one in a million , manager have there diffrent styles and players should respect that. what AVB needs is players that are 100% behind him.

Completely agree , AVB needs to change this squad and make is OWN team not a team of past managers ( mainly jose) once he has his own team we can judge him then. If we sack him we will just be going round in circles. The reason Man united have been so sucessful is because they found a long term manager who refreshs the squad over and over again ( and knows when to do it). I think if we can get through this season with AVB then next season we will truely see his work coming to light.

Isnt Ash Still Injured ? I completely agree about the winger statement , why play with them if we dont really have any ? I know 4-3-3 is now a formation widely favoured and used across the world but does that mean we have to use it ? no I know AVB also wants to use 4-3-3 because it was sucessful at porto and im all for using the formation that made him a sucsses but use it when we have the players to play that way.

Nice Formation , i would definatly go with Raul over Mikel. as for the formation we will see the usual 4-4-3 no doubt.

Would love to see him here , but 40 million can you see us spending that much on an premiership unproven winger? though i agree the RW needs sorting asap.

Another thing is Jose inherited a much better squad. most nearly all players where in there prime of there careers.

Good post , i forgot about the penalty that should have been given , he was right next to the incident how could he miss it ? though we haven't had the best run of getting penalty in Europe We played a lot better in this game , couldn't complain with the defence in the first half , it was a couple of defensive lapses that got punished again. Once we play Valencia i hope we have ironed out these mistakes. If AVB is given the chance , next season we will see his team form weather that's in the CL or not only time will tell.

Exactly there is only so much a manager can do. Its the fact we haven't freshened up the squad enough and this is mainly down to hiring and firing so many managers.

Its maybe time to change the formation but i cant see AVB doing it he hasn't shown in his time here that he will revert from the 4-3-3. i agree 4-3-1-2 may work better as Danny will thrive as a striker.

It helps them sell papers alot of people love seeing us fail so they will read that shite its best we ignore it. still a long way to go yet. but does anyone else feel now when we are leading 1-0 it wont end like that. I always feel like we will concede at least 1.

I agree with a lot of this. Football i am afraid is not what it used to be , when i was growing up you would see rough tackles players fighting for the ball non of this i don't want to get hurt or staying down on the floor for 10 minutes after a slap on the ear.

Danny without a doubt , Cech and Bossy both had good games , but Danny stood out to me.

Must say Bossy seems to play better on the left he can defend ? Danny was great especially that run were he out paced two defenders. Other than the goal Drogs gave possession away far to cheaply. I know we loose some of Rauls game when we play him as DM but he showed he is far better than Mikel there. Lets hope we have a bit of form and sorted the silly mistakes out by December 6th so we can get into the last 16.

Exactly I really agree with the parts about untied , the Glazers leave the football to the people who know what to do. So do City the owner just gives the manager the money and the choices on the football pitch. With Roman he needs to medal in team business he is no football expert and should leave it to the people who are.
