Wanted Eto'o and Willian..

3-5-2? or 4-3-3 with Garcia in the midfield? I think both good for us.

Cech Ivan Luiz Terry Cole Ramires Lampard Willian Oscar Hazard Eto'o

Why look for a direct Lampard replacement? we are playing different system. Im not impressed too much from Paulinho, and anyway we need a DLP not a box to box CM like him. To handle Toure-Fernandinho midfield and be the dominant side, we need Oscar to play deeper imo, and yes a good game from Lamps, from deep. I think we can do that, esp when its an home game for us.

Im defentley havent seen him enough, my post was realy an invitation for someone who knows him better to say if my view was right. But when i saw him, i thought he isnt a DM who also build the game and give too many key passes, i mean not a De-Rossi/Pogba type of midfielder. I'll be glad to hear how he realy is.

Yes but it shouldnt be a pivot of two VERY similar players. We dont need Matudi when we have Ramires, and it definitely shouldnt be our "Big Signing" for the pivot. BlueLyon, "his importance at Psg is similar to Yaya in ManC" How can you say that? they are very different. Matudi doesnt contribute in goals and assists on regular basis, much less technical or creative than Yaya. although he's better defensively than yaya.

The creative CM we need is Miralem Pjanic
nadavTKL replied to Hazardous Oscar's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
The issue about a CM being 'creative' in the pivot is not about creating the goals, its about picking out smart, quick passes to the dangerous positions, where the AM's will create the goals. Its very important, a lot of times - almost in every game in the last few years - you can see that we're too slow to give those passes from midfield, and our build up is predictable and not very clever. There is another thing, playing with a pivot that runs by someone like Gundogan or Schweinsteiger, against a midfield of two CM's that non of them is a world class DLP (Ramires-Pogba for example) will always win in possession and in giving the most dangerous passes, and therefore- most of the times that will make them the best team on the pitch. There is no way you can control a game with that kind of midfield against Gundogan or Schweinsteiger or Barca or Alonso. So i think we need to go for Gundogan himself first, if not him, just not native DM's like Strootman. Pogba is possible, i dont say it would be bad, but we can find better fit i think. -
Its not them, i know where you saw it but they just gathering all rumors from the web to one article. Its the Mirror.
-
Idk, i thought its just Spain who wants him but maybe youre right.. i havent followed.
-
What a progress he made, and this season he realy shows he's top class. Got to be Brazil's no.9 in WC or at least compete with Fred.
-
When we're seating deep and waiting for the opponent to come to us, Cahill is wonderfull, but in the way we want to play most games, he's not working for me. Just not sophisticated enough when he's outside the box and has to realy think quick.

I thought Lampard was very good, sat deeper than usual (deeper than Rami in attack), controlled our attacks, got the ball forword and for the wings- exactly what we need from him. I want that to happen in every game, he should play deep, not run to score goals like he does in most of our more "easy" games.
-
Hazard-Oscar-Schurrle were pretty terrible for most of the game, so inaccurate and kind a apathetic but it was obvious the first two will get something out of those counter attacks, and they did which gave us the win together with some great defending from everyone. I thought Lampard was very good, seat deeper than usual (deeper the Rami in attack), controlled our attacks, got the ball forword and for the wings- exactly what we need from him. thats possible actually... well so ok.
-
Why not Eto'o? dont like it.
-
No, he's the more 'creative striker' between the two strikers in Juve's 3-5-2. Not a no.10 at all, Juve are playing with 3 CM's in the middle with no AM's, so unless they change their tactics a bit, Mata doesnt have a place there.
-
I think Imbula looks more suitable for what we need. When i saw Matic he seems to me like a pure destroyer and not much beyond that.
-
Needs to play more. Right now he's way more techniquel than Ashley and offers more offensively, and when Ash isnt realy in good form overall, i think Ryan should play more especially in games like today when we're clearly the dominant side.
-
Very good. Finally Willian starts! Oscar is probably being saved for CL.

Chelsea to make moves for French starlets Imbula and Mangala in Januaryhttp://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/437382/Chelsea-to-make-moves-for-French-starlets-Imbula-and-Mangala-in-January Le 10 sport also talking about the Imbula thing.

Only if he can play in the pivot. If Mou wanted him in the summer, i belive it was to play there not in AM.
-
And the most important thing is that he's looking to get those balls forword.
-
something new? where? * In Italy there are some reports of intrest from Juventus about KDB. KDB+Money on Pogba could be awsome.
-
why? he doesnt play in the pivot.
-
Express saying Juve have told Chelsea they'll have to pay about £40million for Pogba, and they're willing to sell to fund a bid for Benteke.
