True, but he's probably right.

He's just a bad midfielder for this level. I always give him a chance when he does his job for a game or two, but then he shows not just how not special he is, but also so not clever enough to do his job game after game. thinking so slow, a real cowered with the ball and will always prefer the pass backwords but probably rightly so cause he can't pass it forword good enough, and he's so slowww, fast players passes him so easily. My eyes literally burns when seeing him and Lampard on the same pitch together.

Mikel is so bad, i always give him a chance but he always disappoints, doing nothing, and when he's doing something 1/3 chance it will end as a stupid thing. Lampard and Ivanovic... omg. Ivan is looking awful for more than a month, i dont understand why every time he has the ball its got to be the last ball, he thinks he's a playmaker? horrible game from the super-slow Lampard as well... they are quick, they press, the game is fast, its not for Frank to play. Three players i dont think we should have in our first line up.

I agree with your point but - City are never top 5 in Europe, all those teams you mentioned with them embarrassed them easily in the last few seasons; Carrick was never a DLP last season; Fernandinho doesnt play as one in City, they play him as a CDM and his "DLP qualities" from Shaktar arent shown almost. Toure is the playmaker there, and he's alot worse at that than Alonso, Xavi, Schweinsteiger, Gundogan.

We first need to try avoiding so much crap performances by signing a DLP, if we could get Falcao too in the same window? i wont be against it but i dont think its the first thing to do. Falcao+Cabaye in January could be sweat actually.

Why you call him William?

I think we need someone who can pass the ball in midfield and not an 'animal'.

Yohan Cabaye is the way to go in January i believe. Has what we need in midfield - creative, good passer, quick, defends well. Plus he got some amazing shots which will also help. He does those things we need so much, not with the quality of Gundogan, but a lot better than Lampard. He'll improve us immediately i think. Off course he wont cost too much, 15m will probably do, and he knows the league which is important for a January buy.

Some of the things that been said are right - he does make us more balanced and we look more solid, and right now i prefer him next to Rami, but we would be so much better with someone like Mikel who can also play fast and make some key passes regulary. I dont think he'll ever change in that subject.

Thing is we have a couple of more phenomenal players in his positions. And to be honest he seems to me like the less talented one (with Schurrle, but Schurrle is a different player from the rest so he gets to play).

I cant understand, why do you all seem to care SO MUCH about this guy? i mean more than other player in the squad it looks like the all forum is behind this boy like he's born at the club. What did he do to deserve that kind of support?

Every pass from this guy is a good pass, even if its not a dangerous pass or a pass forword, its almost always clever. I always thought he's a genius, i hope he'll keep show it more. And what a display in defense.

Fair point, but i think Luiz is better when we play more attacking football - which shoud be the way we play most of the time. Unless we play a very low line, Cahill will make us suffer i feel.

We could make a 3 to 5 mintues video on goals like today that Cahill gave. Frustrating, keeps happaning almost every time he's facing a quick striker.

I think Willian should be a starter instead of Schurrle. I feel that we lack some 'magic' and techniques with the current starting AM's against top teams especially, a lot because Oscar is quite busy in working in the midfield. We dont create enough chances from those 3, and i think Wiliian will also give us more position on the ball. Lampard, Ramires and Schurrle are not players who keep position so well, i think we need this 3rd 'flashy' AM, and Willian is just a brilliant passer that always finds the smart and unexpected pass in midfield. And he also able to give some width on the right like Schurrle.
