It was well documented that he only wants Bayern. I belive Dortmund would have sell him in the beginning of the summer if he wanted to go somwhere else. You are suggesting teams havent tried him the all summer? And now also Dortmund will reject any deal because the season started and they wont find a replacment. I think he even sigend a new contract (only pay raise, not more years), and said he will stay and leave only next season.

If we get Eto'o, for me it says Jose will wait for next summer to either get Rooney, or get Lewandowski, in case Bayern wont push for him. Eto'o is a stopgap option, a good one imo, Matrinez costs 35m and then you wont have the option to get Rooney/Lewandowski - the striker Mou realy wants as it seems.
